Croco spent most of his younger years poor, and from the age of 4 has studied the greatest detectives of all time day in and day out. He used to dream of stopping criminals, but when he set a new all-time record for a race in PE, he was given an opportunity to enter a race for 500 dollars. He won easily, and got the prize for winning. Having held money for the first time in his life, he became obsessed with it. So, he got together three of the young troublemakers in his neighborhood and trained them. The four pulled off a perfect bank heist, and the team of Croco and his Crooks was born. Croco dreams of someday conquering Plit, and has come close several times.

Crook 1, or Koggle, was born in a mountainous area and soon moved to a small town. There, he began a love of mischief. While planning a huge destruction of a man's house because the man had taken his favorite stick from him, he caught Croco's attention. Croco told the young villain that he would give him a shot with his new group featuring two other evils, who at the time he called Crooks A and II. Crook 1 was originally Crook 3, as Croco had low expectations for him. The young member of Croco's group quickly went through the ranks of Croco's training and was soon Croco's favorite and most promising pupil.

Nickname: Crook B
Role: Croco's advisor, secondary apprentice
Favorite Food: Most fried meats
Favorite Pastime: Thievery
Favorite Sport: Golf
Favorite Video Game: Halo
Favorite School Subject: Social Studies
Favorite Koopa Minion: Ludwig
Favorite Part of Being in Jail: Finding a way to escape
Favorite Color: Silver

Hinflo, aka Crook B, began as Croco's main assistant and advisor. The advisor position he retains, though he now trains under Crook 1 moreso than under Croco. Crook B likes human interaction and intelligence. Unfortunately, he has a bad habit of not thinking his plans through. Still, Croco looks to this Crook as guidance for most of his plans, and Crook B usually delivers, at least after Croco puts his own input and the input of his other Crooks into the plan.

Role: Croco's farthest behind apprentice, Croco's best friend
Favorite Food: Meat, preferably raw
Favorite Pastime: Studying mythology
Favorite Sport: Dodgeball
Favorite Video Game: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Laklogus is the oldest member of the group, at least chronologically. As Laklogus is a demon, he ages slower than most. His demon ancestory has motivated the Crook to study his race, though he works as a thief as well due to the excitement the job brings. He's a bit bad at the job, but Croco is patient as he knows the kind of life Crook III's had, since both spent their lives around poverty and families who didn't care about them.

Nickname: Tatanga the Conquerer
Role: Evil purple alien
Favorite Food: Gjrenbhnjfnjhnjaenhjbvghntfcgdkffhjxldfhjzdsgf (a delecacy on his planet)
Favorite Pastime: Conquering
Favorite Sport: Hacklerlerub (a cross between hockey and tennis)

Favorite Koopa Minion: Bullet Bill
Favorite Color: Black

Tatanga is an alien from a far away planet. He began an armada of ships and robots, which he used to conquer planet after planet. Once he reached Plit, however, Mario put an end to Tatanga's attempts, then later came into space and defeated Tatanga again, breaking his hold on the galaxy. Tatanga retreated into the mountains out of shame, and rarely comes out.

Name: Kent C. Koopa
Nickname: Hookbill 2.0, Ken
Role: Giant Koopa Troopa
Favorite Food: Meat
Favorite Pastime: Road blocking
Favorite Sport: Football
Favorite Video Game: Super Mario Land 2
Favorite School Subject: Gym (got to pummel those smaller than him)
Favorite Koopa Minion: Hookbill
Favorite Color: Red

Kent C. Koopa was always enormous, due to the fact that he is a third cousin to Hookbill, twice removed. Kent was picked on for this, and loved gym and recess where he could mess with those who bothered him. Kent C. isn't exactly evil; he's more like a Koopa version of Wario. A giant Koopa version.
