The King Bob-omb used to be peaceful until Bowser took the castle over in Super Mario 64. Bowser promised him some of his army and let him keep Bob-omb Battlefield if he fought Mario. The King Bob-omb is still alive and tries to keep the Battlefield as safe as possible. King Bob-omb is a great ruler but keeps being pulled into the dark side of things. After Super Mario DS, he plans to rest and command only his Bob-ombs. There will be conflict between Bowser and him, but he is tired of being ruled over.
