Goomba King's Bio

The Goomba King, as you may know, was not always as big or as kingly as you remember. No, he was born as a common Goomba, only smaller and very whiny. His name was Chad. All the other Goombas would bully him on a daily basis. He even grew a mustache so people wouldn't recognize him, but it didn't work.

Chad eavesdropped on other Goombas one night, and heard that Bowser had stolen something of great power, called the Star Rod. Chad was tired of being pushed around, so he decided to go find Bowser.

He ran night and day 'til he found Bowser. At this time, he was extremely tired, but still managed to ask Bowser to make him powerful. Bowser refused, so Chad kept on pestering him. Finally Bowser had had enough, so he granted Chad's request, turning him into a big king.

He rushed back to Goomba Village and beat up the Goombas who had once picked on him. He then recruited the strongest Goombas he could find, one who was red, and one who was blue. Then the Goomba King got to thinking, "Hey, I'm a king now. A king's got to have a castle!" So, he and his two lackeys stole the bridge to Toad Town, and using the powers of paper and glue, turned it into a castle the same day. However, the Goomba King also created a switch that would return the bridge to normal, so he could go back to Toad Town if need be.

He then heard from other Goombas that a guy named Mario had fallen in Goomba Village. This was sort of good news. Bowser had said that he would have to beat a guy named Mario, or he would take away his powers. He sent out his lackeys to finish him off, but they returned, beaten.

The Goomba King then awaited this Mario's arrival. He then fought with his tired lackeys outside his castle. He might have won too, if Mario hadn't hit a Goomnut Tree, sending a giant nut on top of the Goomba King's head.

After being beaten, the Goomba King retreated back into his fortress, but soon realized his mistake. He had forgotten to dispose of the switch he had built! When Mario hit this switch, the castle turned back into the bridge, and the Goomba King was sent flying through the air, 'til he hit a mountain.

The Goomba King has not been heard of since. Some say that he lost his powers and returned to normal after hitting the mountain so hard. Some say after Bowser lost the Star Rod, his powers automatically vanished. But, some recent reports say that the Goomba King still has his powers, and joined the circus.
