Koopa Troop
Ludwig, Genius: I never expected to be a target at such an early instance in the game. I intend to conceal myself for a while until another member of the mass becomes the target.
Iggy: Did everyone sleep well last night?
Roy: Awve slept better.
Bowser: I am going to kill Lemmy for taking my couch!
Iggy: Yeah, he might have at least left the rug. My back hurts.
Roy: Why'd ya go an' ask if everyone slept well if you didn't?
Iggy: I was just making conversation. Anyway, I was hoping that you had slept better.
Roy: You should mind your own business!
Iggy, Paperweight: Roy really needs to lose the attitude. Maybe it's just me, but I'm kind of scared of him.
Roy, Fist-User: I'm upset that Ludwig's still here. I thought he had enough votes coming to him so that I could vote for Iggy, but he wasn't man enough to vote for me after all. I knew no one dared vote for me! I would really like to get rid of Bowser next. I think he's my only threat for going all the way.
Elsewhere, with Susan and Wendy...
Wendy: Did you vote for Ludwig?
Susan: Of course, and I'm pretty sure Morton did too. Roy must have voted for Iggy. Who else would?
Wendy: Oh, that's so like Roy! What did Iggy ever do to him? We should never have trusted him.
Susan: It doesn't matter. Someone got voted off, and it wasn't one of us.
Wendy: I still don't like it. Ya know, I bet Roy will vote for you just as soon as he thinks he can nail you.
Susan: I do wish my boyfriend would show his love for me another way.
Wendy: We should get back to the others, before they worry too much.
Larry, Spy: Worry too much? Now, why would I worry? It takes more than two to give the boot, and no one thinks I'm a threat. It's perfect!
Bowser: I'm hungry! Where's all the food?!
Iggy: I think we ate it all...
Bowser: Well then let's go get some more!
Larry: Wait King Dad!
Bowser: What is it?
Larry: We can't just go back to the supermarket! They'll be looking for us.
Susan: Silly Larry! That's no problem! We'll go to another one!
Larry: Oh sure, that works now, but what are you going to do in ten days when we've robbed all the supermarkets?
Iggy: Maybe they'll forget?
Larry: Let me go, alone! I'll steal food, and I won't get caught.
Roy: Aw, you're gonna steal veggies!
Iggy: EWW!!!
Larry: You worry too much. I'll get food for everyone.
Ludwig: I hope I am not overstepping my boundaries when I suggest that Larry is correct.
Susan: My love has done it again!
Roy: Grr... You'd better get some good food.
Bowser: And fast!
Larry: I will. But, you know, I might get a bit lonely. Roy, would you come with me?
Roy: What?! Aww, I don't wanna!
Larry: Please Roy? You'll get to choose your own food.
Roy: Oh, fine. I guess I have nothing better to do.
Iggy: Can I come?
Larry: Uh, thanks for asking, but once you get three people the odds of escaping without being caught drops.
Iggy: Oh, ok.
Larry: See ya later!
Larry and Roy leave the building.
Wendy, Beauty Queen: Why would Larry ask Roy along on a stealing mission? Well, at least with Roy out of the way I can find out if anyone else doesn't like him.
Mario Gang
Peach: I've had all I can take!
Wario: I couldn't have said it any better myself.
Peach: Thanks for the complement.
Wario: It's the last one you're ever gonna get!
Waluigi: I believe I may have a solution.
Waluigi uses his grotesquely long nails to create a groove across the floor.
Waluigi: From now on, you stay on that side, and we stay on this side.
Yoshi: Fine with Yoshi!
Mario: FINE!!!
Wario: Was that a random outburst, or are you really into this fight?
Mario: I dunno.
Waluigi: Even your night in shining armor is against you!
Peach: I don't need a night in shining armor, I can protect myself!
Wario: Remind me to kidnap you after this is all over.
Yoshi: Wario no survive, Wario starve! Wario can't get food, door on Yoshi and Peach side.
Wario: Wah?!
Mario: Ahh! I can't swim! I- I can't breathe! I can't swim! I'm drowning!
Waluigi: Heh heh, you're gonna have to trade us door priviledges so you can use our bathroom.
Peach: We can go use the supermarket's bathroom.
Mario: We're all gonna die!
Wario: Ok ok, so you have the better half of the room. But once I vote you off in two days I'll be able to do whatever I want.
Yoshi: Yoshi, Peach, The King vote Wario off!
Wario: Oh really? Don't look now, but The King is on our side of the line. You can't talk to him!
The King: What's this wall in the middle of the room?
Peach: I can talk to him without going there! Hey Dad!
The King: Who zat?
Peach: It's me! Peach!
Yoshi: The King vote for Wario!
The King: WARIO!!!
Wario: Oh no you don't! The King, you're voting for Peach.
The King: PEACH!!!
Peach: No, Wario!
The King: WARIO!!!
Waluigi: You're voting for Peach!
The King: PEACH!!!
Mario: I'm-a Mario!
The King: MARIO!!!
Peach and Wario: NO!
Peach, Princess: I have no doubt that Wario will be the one voted off. My father just has to side with me, and I bet Mario will forget to vote for me anyway.
Waluigi, Scaredy-Cat: I really like the way this is going. We're going to get Peach, and then Yoshi will be next. I could get to the merge without any votes against me. I'm afraid to say it, but maybe I can go all the way.
The King, King: Up until now I have continued the idiot guise even into the voting box, but I think I'm secure enough now to vote the way I really want. I would really like to stear Peach and Yoshi into voting for Waluigi. That would stop him from sliding in under the radar and leave Peach and Wario to destroy each other. Yoshi is a bit of a threat though. He's nice enough to go all the way.
Koopa Troop
At another supermarket...
Roy: ... and some microwavable pizzas.
Larry: We don't have a microwave.
Roy: I'll get Dad to blow on them.
Larry: Oh, yeah, good thinking. Listen, Roy, I have something important to tell you, but I don't think you'll like it.
Roy: I like secrets even less. You'd better tell me what it is or I'll make sure you don't get out of this store alive.
Larry: Well, ok, but remember, you asked. I overheard Wendy and Susan talking...
Roy: And?
Larry: And... well, they're plotting to vote for you, Roy.
Roy: Nah way! Those two hate each other, and I haven't done anything to 'em... yet.
Larry: Well that's exactly what I was thinking, but they seem mad because you didn't vote for Ludwig last night.
Roy: They said that? ... That must be why Wendy seemed so excited that ah was votin' for him. She needed my vote to get him off.
Larry: I hate to say it, but you could be in trouble. Ludwig might still want to vote for you too.
Roy: Has he said anything?
Larry: Not that I've heard, so you need to be careful.
Roy: Well, are ya just tryin' to get me mad or do you have a plan?
Larry: Oh, I have a plan alright! You could vote for Susan...
Roy: Susan? Ah was gonna vote for Dad!
Larry: Hey, you can vote for whoever you want, but if you vote for Dad you risk getting nailed. I'm voting for Susan, and some others may be willing to as well.
Roy: Susan, huh? Well... I could promise not to vote for Iggy if he'll vote for her too.
Larry: Uh huh, and I'll speak to Ludwig. You know how she's always wrecking his inventions.
Roy: Yeah, but now tell me somethin'. How do I know you didn't make this all up?
Larry: That's a risk you're just gonna have to take. Look, the emergency exit is right over there. Follow me and do what I do...
In the building...
Iggy: Anyone want to play some cards?
Wendy: Where'd you get cards?
Iggy: They're my luxery item!
Susan: Hey, that's right! We never said what we brought. My luxery item brings me lots of comfort- it's a picture of Larry!
Ludwig: Disgusting! Do you not get to view him often enough?
Susan: Yeah, well what did you bring?
Ludwig: I have in my possession an all-purpose tool so that I might fix anything that should cease to function.
Wendy: Oh, that was brilliant! There's nothing here to fix! Now, my luxery item is real important- it's my make-up kit!
Roy: (entering) Really? You might try using it!
Wendy: I do use it!
Roy: Then why are ya still ugly?
Wendy's face turns beat red. Larry, entering behind Roy, shakes his head.
Bowser: Well, it took you long enough! Did you get caught?
Larry: Of course not, King Dad! And there's food here for everyone.
Bowser, Tyrant: I hate to admit it, but Larry is quite an asset to the team. If he keeps getting food like this we'll be in great shape! Trouble is, Larry is a threat to win. I know he can't really beat me, but even so, it does make me worry.
Wendy: What did you get for me?
Bowser: I get food first!
Iggy: But we're not done sharing luxery items!
Roy: Huh?
Susan: We were saying what each of us brought with us.
Roy: Oh, is that all? Heh, that's not important.
Wendy: I bet you brought something stupid, Roy!
Roy: Actually, Lemmy said mah sunglasses counted as mah luxery item. I don't know wha, Iggy's didn't.
Iggy: I need mine to see-
Roy: And I need mine to look cool!
Wendy: They don't help.
Roy's face matches Wendy's earlier shade of red.
Susan: What did you bring, my love?
Larry: I lost mine on the way here.
Susan: Aw, you can share mine!
Larry: Uh, thanks.
Larry, Spy: Actually, my luxery item is an ear piece so I can hear better, but I don't want anyone to know that.
Iggy: Everyone has told what they brought except you, King Dad.
Bowser: (pausing between bites) I brought hot sauce.
Larry: Sorry King Dad, I didn't steal any tacos.
Bowser: It's to make sure I can always breathe fire.
Larry: Oh, of course.
Iggy, Paperweight: It looks like my luxery item is the best of them all. I can hold secret convos while playing. Ooh, I've always wanted to do that!
Mario Gang
Peach and Yoshi are outside, looking on the ground for dropped money so they can buy food the honest, Mario way.
Peach: Look, a penny!
Yoshi slurps it up.
Peach: Yoshi! You don't eat the money.
Yoshi: Oh, but money good!
Peach: You don't even know where it's been!
Yoshi: Penny not on ground?
Yoshi spits the penny back into Peach's hand and the two continue to search. Back in the building, Wario is having a talk with The King.
Wario: Say Peach.
The King: YOSHI!!!
Wario: No, Peach.
The King: YOSHI!!!
Wario: Peeeech.
The King: YOSHI!!!
Wario: ... Yoshi?
The King: YOSHI!!!
Wario: *sigh*
Elsewhere, with Waluigi and Mario...
Waluigi: Ok, now listen closely. Mario, the next time we go to vote, you're voting for Peach.
Mario: Let's-a go!
Waluigi: No! No, we're not voting now. But, when it is time to vote, you're going to vote for Peach.
Mario: I'm-a Mario!
Waluigi: Right. Now, who are you going to vote for?
Mario: You-a said voting was-a later!
Waluigi: Uh, right! Later, who are you going to vote for?
Mario: Uh... Wario?
Waluigi: NO! Ug... You are going to vote for Peach. Who are you voting for?
Mario: Peach.
Waluigi: You got it! Who are you voting for?
Mario: Peach.
Waluigi: Well I'm glad you understand. Now, you just keep saying that to yourself, over and over.
Mario: Peach... Peach... Peach...
Waluigi: Very good.
Wario: Brother, there's been a change.
Waluigi: What?
Just then Yoshi and Peach come back in.
Wario: (whispering) I'll tell you later.
Yoshi: Look what Yoshi have!
Yoshi is holding a loaf of bread.
The King: FOOD!!!
The King runs over to Peach before Wario or Waluigi can stop him.
Mario: PEACH!!!
Mario runs too but Wario does manage to stop him.
Wario: Where'd you get that?!
Peach: We bought it with money we found the honest, Mario way.
Yoshi: Only good guys get food.
Yoshi rips the bread into three pieces and gives one to Peach and one to The King. The King puts it on his head and runs off.
Peach: So who's in charge now?
Wario: Grr...
Yoshi, Food Analyst: Wario look like he crumble, just like bread food! Peach and Yoshi vote for Wario, Wario bad! Yoshi hope Peach get The King vote.
Wario, Strategist: Peach may have won the battle, but I will win the war. I'd like to vote off Peach, but I'm too smart to take risks. If The King will only say Yoshi then that's who we'll vote for. Once Yoshi is gone I can vote for Peach with or without him.
Mario, Moron: Peach... Peach... Peach...
Day 11
Mario Gang
It's early in the morning. Certainly everyone in the mass is sleeping. But wait! What's this?
Peach: (whispering) Dad! ... Dad!
The King: I'm awake, I'm awake! The answer is squeedly spooch.
Yoshi: The King be quiet, no wake rest mass!
The King: I'll be quiet!
Peach: Shh! Listen, Yoshi and I are hoping you'll vote for Mario the next time we have to.
Yoshi: Mario have most votes, lose tie.
Peach: Once we get off Mario we can easily pick off the Wario Bros. if we have to.
The King: WALUIGI!!!
Yoshi: The King be quiet!
Peach: We can't beat Waluigi in a tie! He has no votes.
Yoshi: The King please vote Mario.
The King: WALUIGI!!!
Waluigi: Huh? Wuh?
Yoshi: Dumdedumdum!
Waluigi: Hey, what's going on here?
The King: I have no idea.
Waluigi: I do! Wario, Mario, wake up!
Wario: What's wrong?!
Mario: PEACH!!!
Wario: ... You can stop saying that.
Mario: YIPPEE!
Waluigi: I've just caught them plotting to vote for Mario!
Mario: I'm-a Mario!
Wario: Yeah! What do you think you're doing?
Yoshi: None of Wario business.
Peach: Why don't you just go back to sleep?
Wario: Right after you do!
Yoshi: Fine, mass sleep on count three.
Waluigi: Fine with me.
Peach: You start counting!
Wario: One...
Yoshi: Two...
Mario: I-a don't know what comes after two.
Peach: THREE!
Mario and The King: Zzz...
Wario: Ha! I caught you not sleeping!
Peach: No, you're the one who's not sleeping!
Waluigi: It doesn't matter, we still win. With The King asleep their plotting is over.
Wario: Even so, I'm not going to sleep until they do.
Yoshi: Fine with Yoshi!
Waluigi: This is gonna be a long day.
Koopa Troop
Roy: Hey, everyone, that idiot is coming back!
Wendy: You're already here, Roy.
Roy, Fist-User: Wendy can talk now, but what she doesn't know is that Susan is outta here, and she'll be next. I spoke to Iggy last night and he said he'd vote for Susan. I'm sure Larry can get Ludwig's vote, and that's all we need.
Guy: Hey, good morning! Here's your next poem:
You'd like some

all your strength, but make sure you still live.

will sleep on the floor no more.

Wendy, Beauty Queen: It looks like the next Challenge will get us beds or something. I'd really like to win that! Mario Gang has won all the good stuff, but no more.
Ludwig: I believe we should discuss which amongst us will not participate in the Challenge.
Bowser: Duh, the weakest! I'll toast anyone who holds us back!
Roy: Ha, so long Iggy!
Iggy: That's not fair! I sat out in the last challenge!
Ludwig: My point exactly, and I do not wish to offend a member of the mass an additional time.
Wendy: Oh, you're all idiots! Iggy, it doesn't matter if you participate, the point is we're gonna win some beds.
Iggy: But I want to!
Ludwig: Ah, but you will be conserving your energy for a spectacular effort in the future!
Roy: Plus, I won't have to pound you!
Iggy: Well... ok.
Bowser: Good, I'm glad we got that settled. Let's eat!
Larry: Yeah, we'd better be at full strength. I don't think Mario Gang has eaten, so they will be weak.
Larry, Spy: Could this get any better? Mario Gang will start losing all the challenges as they become weaker. Then Koopa Troop will pick off their members after the merge. I still have no votes, and the girl alliance is going down. I'm really going to win this thing!
Iggy, Paperweight: I didn't really want to back down, but I don't want to make any enemies. What Ludwig said does make sense too. If I can store up my strength I'll be a threat later on.
Reward Challenge
Koopa Troop and most of Mario Gang file into the room.
Lemmy: Welcome, Koopa Troop and Mario Gang, to- er, Mario Gang, where are Peach and Yoshi?
Wario: Heh heh heh-heh, they'll be here shortly. They had to use the fire escape.
Lemmy: Oh... alright... I guess.
Just then Peach and Yoshi come running in, panting.
Lemmy: Good, we're all here. Let me tell you what you're playing for: a sleeping bag for each member of the mass!
Iggy: We gotta win this!
Waluigi: Actually, my mass is already good at sleeping.
Lemmy: Now I'll tell you what you have to do. You will form a chain of people from well to well. One well is full of water, the other well is empty. The member standing closest to the filled well will dip in their bucket, fill it up, and pass it to the next in line. You keep passing your bucket until you reach the final member, who will pour the water into the empty well and send the bucket back. The mass that has poured the most water into the empty well wins. Koopa Troop, you are still up one member so you must choose someone to sit out.
Iggy: I will.
Lemmy: Then Iggy will not play. The rest of you, form a chain. I'll give you a minute to figure out what order you'll stand in.
Ludwig: King Dad, you are the stongest and ought to draw the water.
Bowser: Ok, ok.
Koopa Troop lines up, in order from the filled well to the empty well, Bowser, Roy, Ludwig, Wendy, Susan, and Larry. As for Mario Gang, since the mass isn't really on speaking terms they end up pushing and shoving for position. In order from the filled well to the empty well, it's Wario, Waluigi, Yoshi, Peach, Mario, and The King.
Lemmy: Losers ready? Go!
Bowser fills a bucket of water and passes it down the line, but it's a little heavier than they thought and Susan ends up dropping it in transition to Larry. She passes it back. Mario Gang fails earlier in the line. Wario draws the water and passes the bucket to Waluigi, who drops the bucket in fright when he sees a bug swimming in it. Wario picks up the bucket again and draws more water. This time Waluigi is able to pass it on but Yoshi, who is afraid of water, gets the shivers and drops the bucket.
Koopa Troop manages to pass a bucket all the way down the line, but only gets about half a bucket-full into the well due to all the water lost on the way. Larry passes it back. Mario Gang makes a third attempt and Yoshi is able to pass it on by closing his eyes so he can't see it, but Peach drops the bucket because it's so heavy.
Roy passes his bucket too vigerously and ends up dousing Ludwig instead of getting the bucket closer to the well, while Peach again drops the bucket. Koopa Troop is then able to get most of a bucket into the empty well. Peach finally manages to get the bucket to Mario, who promptly puts it on his head and receives a scolding from the rest of his mass.
Ludwig has a seizure and drops his bucket but Mario Gang is finally able to get their bucket down to the end of the line where The King... actually pours his bucket into the well and sends it back! Mario Gang was slow in getting the water down to The King, though, and Koopa Troop manages to get a bucket across as well.
At this point Wario, who is weak from hunger to begin with, is having trouble drawing the water and is taking more time to do so. Koopa Troop still appears to be doing ok and they get another bucket across as Yoshi accidentally opens his eyes and drops his bucket again.
Wario realizes his mass is losing and tries to throw water straight to the empty well, but he gets little, if anything, into it, instead dousing most of his mass. Yoshi runs for cover, Peach shrieks, and Mario starts trying to swim. Wendy drops her bucket for Koopa Troop, and time is running out.
As another bucket nears Koopa Troop's empty well Wario frantically draws another bucket and passes it down, but Yoshi and Peach aren't ready to receive their bucket so Waluigi drops it in transition. Larry pours in another bucket for Koopa Troop and the Challenge comes to an end.
Lemmy: Victory to Koopa Troop!
Susan: We did it! We finally won a Reward Challenge!
Ludwig: Our strategy was perfect!
Roy: I was da bomb!
Iggy: Way to go guys!
Lemmy: Here you go, a sleeping bag for each member of Koopa Troop. Koopa Troop, Mario Gang, I'll see you tomorrow!
Koopa Troop collects their sleeping bags and makes their way out of the room. The exhausted and disarrayed Mario Gang takes more time but then heads back to camp.
Mario Gang
Peach and Yoshi enter through the front door and are surprised to see that the rest of the mass is not already in the room.
Peach: Where are they?
Yoshi: Peach look out window!
Peach and Yoshi look out the window to see that Wario, Waluigi, Mario, and The King are outside.
Peach: How did they get out there?
Yoshi: Must have used fire escape!
Peach: Oh no! Get back here!
Peach and Yoshi run out the door. Wario spots them and runs faster.
Wario: You won't take me alive! I'm getting to a store!
Waluigi: Quick, this way!
Peach is losing ground even though the Wario Bros. are practically dragging Mario and The King.
Yoshi: Peach hop on Yoshi!
Peach: Good idea!
Peach and Yoshi start gaining ground... until Wario and Waluigi split up and go in separate directions.
Waluigi: You can't stop both of us!
Wario: Give it up! We win!
Mario: Thank you so much for-to playing my game!
The King: WHEE!!!
Yoshi: Who Yoshi follow?
Peach: ... No, we can't stop them. Let them go.
Yoshi: But Peach!
Peach: No, they're right. Let's go.
Peach and Yoshi return to the building, where they find the loser banging on the front door.
Guy: C'mon, open up!
Yoshi: Here Yoshi and Peach!
Guy: Oh, hi! Listen, you'd better get to bed early tonight. Tomorrow's Immunity Challenge will be early in the morning, in the... Wee Hours!
Yoshi: Not Wee Hours!
Peach: Do we get a poem?
Guy: No, Lemmy wants to keep the Challenge a secret. But good luck tomorrow!
The guy leaves.
Yoshi: What Challenge be?
Yoshi, Food Analyst: Early morning Challenge, no details. Could Challenge be 'nother endurance test? Yoshi don't think so, just had one. But, Lemmy strange, do anything, so Yoshi no know.
Peach, Princess: I have to hand it to Wario, it was pretty smart for them to use the fire escape. As much as I hate to I'd better patch things up with them. It doesn't do me any good to keep standing my ground; I'll just buy myself some votes if I do that.
At a store...
Wario and Waluigi had joined back up after they saw that Peach and Yoshi had given up. They split up again in the store to look for food, giving Mario and The King direct orders to not leave the store, kill each other, or act like complete idiots. Well, at least they followed the first two orders.
The King: So, Mario, who are you planning on voting for tomorrow?
Mario: Huh? Wow, you spoke a coherent sentence!
The King: And you caught me on it? Are... are you trying to look like an idiot too?
Mario: No.
The King: Then... then I'm confused.
Mario: I'm-a Mario!
The King: Uh... huh. But, so anyway, who are you going to vote for tomorrow?
Mario: I'LL NEVER TELL!!!
The King: Look, I don't mind telling you that I plan to vote for either Yoshi or Waluigi. I'm not sure which yet. Do you have a preference?
Mario: Zzz...
The King: Mario, I know you're not sleeping, your eyes are still open!
Mario: So?
The King: Who did Wario and Waluigi tell you to vote for?
Mario: Peach.
The King: Ok, we're getting somewhere! Do you intend to actually vote for Peach?
Mario: It's-a Luigi time!
The King: You can't vote for Luigi.
Mario: Zzz...
The King: Ookay!
The King, King: I was worried for a minute that Mario was playing the same game as me, but now I'm sure that he is a real live idiot. I was hoping that I'd get his half of the mass to vote for Yoshi, but it works for me if they vote for Peach instead. I will keep an eye out though, to make sure things don't change now that Peach's position has weakened.
Wario, Strategist: A lack of food was the only thing keeping me from performing at my best. Now that Peach and Yoshi have lost the battle they will also lose the war. Hopefully my mass will have renewed strength enough to win these upcoming Immunity Challenges. My plans could be ruined if Koopa Troop doesn't lose at least two of them.
Mario, Moron: I *sniffle* hope no one votes for me. My name is scary!
Waluigi, Scaredy-Cat: Wario tells me we're voting for Yoshi now. Well that suits me just fine. Yoshi is way too nice, and he seems so innocent. If we're not careful he could go all the way. Peach will definitely lose sometime; she puts herself in the spotlight way too much.
Later, Peach and Yoshi meet the returning massmates at the front door.
Peach: So, did you get caught?
Waluigi: We were very careful, at my insistance.
Wario: We have food for everyone... that is, if you and Yoshi want.
Peach: We decided to give in to you. You win, Wario.
Mario: I'm-a hungry!
Wario: A very wise choice, Princess.
The King: FOOD!!!
Peach: Yes, let's eat.
Koopa Troop
Ludwig: We ought to engage in slumber. It would be wise for us to be rested for tomorrow's Challenge.
Iggy: I don't need to rest. I'm already pumped from sitting out the last two Challenges.
Ludwig: You would be surprised what a lack of rest can do to your bodily systems.
Iggy: That sounds scary! I guess I'll go to sleep.
Roy: Good, then I'm putting my sack right here by the fire!
Wendy: Not a chance, Roy! I'm going to sleep there!
Roy: Over my dead body!
Wendy: I would be glad to arrange that.
Susan: I don't want to be too close to the fire, so I'm going to sleep over here in the corner.
Iggy: Oh, but I wanted to sleep in that corner!
Larry: So did I, but I'll sleep somewhere else. The middle of the room, perhaps?
Not hearing any complaints, Larry sets up his sack in the middle of the floor. The rest of the Koopas continue to struggle for space, however.
Bowser: There is only one fair way to settle this.
Ludwig: Well at least one of us has devised a sensible solution.
Bowser: King's Rule.
Iggy: What's that, King Dad?
Bowser: I get to sleep by the fire!
Bowser's solution does not seem to solve the problem as the Koopas, aside from Larry, continue to fight late into the night. They finally fall asleep in random positions, exhausted.
Day 12
Immunity Challenge
Thirteen losers are standing in a dark, grassy field, formed into two groups with Lemmy standing in between. Oh, and it's 3 in the morning.
Lemmy: Sleep well?
Losers: Grr...
Lemmy: Good. Today we have an Immunity Challenge. Before I explain the rules, Mario Gang, I need you to return the immunity thingy.
Waluigi, who has his arms wrapped tightly around the piece of junk, very reluctantly hands it over. Actually, Lemmy, Bowser, and Roy have to pry it out of his grasp, and even with the three of them they are barely able to do so.
Lemmy: I trust you are all familiar with Capture the Flag.
Lemmy is met by 13 empty stares.
Lemmy: Ookay, the point of the game is to sneak into your opponent's side of the field, grab the flag, and make it back to your side of the line. The first team that does so, wins. However, if you are on the other team's side of the line and get tagged by an opponent, you must immediately go to jail, marked by those lines in the corners. Once in jail you cannot leave unless another member of your team tags you without being tagged by an enemy first. You can also win by getting every opponent in jail. Understand?
Ludwig, who seems to be the only one who has any idea of what's going on, answers simply.
Ludwig: No.
Lemmy: Well, play anyway! This Challenge is being held early in the morning so that it will be hard to see each other, making for a more strategic game. Koopa Troop, you will again need to select one member to sit out.
Iggy: Not me! I'm *yawn* all rested!
Roy: I'm sitting out, so I can catch up on my sleep.
Lemmy: Fine, so Roy will sit out. Take a position on your side of the line, Mario Gang on my left, Koopa Troop on my right.
The losers get on the field and into a random position on their side of the line.
Lemmy: Losers ready? Go!
Bowser charges forward into the midst of Mario Gang. Waluigi, in trying to escape, accidentally bumps his hand into him.
Lemmy: Jail time for Bowser.
Bowser: What?!
POOF! Bowser disappears, then reappears in Mario Gang's jail.
Bowser: Hey! Let me outta here!
Peach: Haha! You're right where you belong, Koopa.
Larry: Uh oh, we're down a member. Susan, you're good at digging, right?
Susan: Yeah, so?
Larry: Dig under the ground and come up under Bowser, then burrow back.
Susan: Oh, my love has done it again! I'll do it right now.
Susan plunges into the ground. Meanwhile, Wario is sneaking around in Koopa Troop territory when he feels a tap on his shoulder.
Wario: Darn! Who caught me?
Wario spins around to see Mario.
Wario: Whew. It's only you.
Mario: I'm voting for Peach.
Wario: Huh? Wait, now we're voting for-
Iggy: Hey, I hear you over there! Get out of my territory!
Wario: Oh great, we've been spotted. Run!
Wario tries to run away but trips over part of Susan's burrow. Iggy manages to catch up to him and tags him out. He is teleported to jail.
Wario: Not strategic Mario, not strategic.
Elsewhere on the field, Peach and Waluigi are standing near their flag.
Waluigi: I hope no one comes here... I'm afraid of the Koopas!
Peach: Well, I guess that's understandable. Just be sure to keep a careful guard.
Waluigi: I'm afraid of guards!
Peach: Hey, I just had a great idea! Lemmy never said we couldn't move the flag, so why not hide it on you? The Koopas will have no idea where it is!
Waluigi: But... but I'm afraid of the flag!
Peach: Then why are you guarding it?
Waluigi: I'm more afraid of the Koopas.
Peach: Just take it!
Suddenly, Susan burrows up from right in front of them.
Susan: Whoops... guess I made a wrong turn at the termite mound.
Peach tags Susan out, and she is teleported to jail.
Susan: My love! Save me!
Larry: Oh great. If I save her, she might want to kiss me or something. If I don't, we might lose. How am I supposed to make that decision?
Just then, Yoshi catches Wendy too close to the line. He uses his tongue to pull her onto his side, then tags her out. She is sent to jail.
Wendy: Eww! That's was disgusting! And unfair.
Larry: I guess I have no choice... here I go.
With most of Koopa Troop in jail, Larry heading to free them, and Ludwig guarding his Mario Gang prisoner, Iggy is left alone to guard his flag. And, in the dark, he fails to notice that Mario escaped after he tagged Wario. Mario, on his part, is bumbling about, and just happens to bump into the flag. He picks it up and continues to wander around, generally heading back towards his side. Across the field, Larry is near Mario Gang's jail.
Larry: Just a little further...
The King: Halt! Who goes there?
Larry: (in Peach's voice) It's me, Peach. I'm just here to check on the prisoners.
The King: Who's Peach?
Larry, dumbfounded, has no answer for that. Instead he takes a longer route around The King and manages to reach the jail, where he tags Bowser, Wendy, and Susan. The three Koopas are teleported just outside the jail and are free to go. Waluigi, seeing this, panics and makes a run for it. As it so happens, he is heading towards the line in the middle of the field. Waluigi crosses the line and crashes into Mario, who is mere feet from passing it himself. Lemmy blows a whistle, and the Challenge is over.
Lemmy: Victory to Koopa Troop!
Waluigi looks down sadly as he sees Mario Gang's flag, which fell out of his shirt after he crashed into Mario.
Lemmy: Immunity!
Lemmy hands Iggy, the Koopa Troop member nearest to him, the immunity thingy.
Lemmy: Mario Gang, I'll see you at Mass Massacre tonight.
Ominous music, and a fade out.
Mass Massacre
After a day apparently not worth any airtime, Mario Gang shows up on the roof for their third Mass Massacre. A view of the Pizza Hut sign in the distance, which features the cut-outs of Toad, Luigi, and Morton, is shown as the losers file in and take a seat.
Lemmy: Four Immunity Challenges, three Mass Massacres. Are you worried about the next two?
Waluigi: I'm scared of them!
Peach: I take each Challenge one at a time, Lemmy. We get a little luck with the Challenge or with Koopa Troop's physical strength, and we're right back in there.
Wario: I'll have to agree with Peach on that one... but I don't like it.
Lemmy: Six days ago, the voting seemed to indicate that some alliances have formed. Have they held?
Yoshi: When Yoshi give word, Yoshi mean it.
Wario: Oh, I always tell the truth! Honest Wario, they call me.
The King: What's an alliance?
Mario: ALIENS!!!
Lemmy: Waluigi, you cost your mass the Immunity Challenge. Feeling vulnerable?
Waluigi: I'm always feeling vulnerable! I'm scared of feeling vulnerable!
Lemmy: It's time to vote. Mario, you're up.
Mario goes to vote.
Mario: PEACH!!!
Lemmy: Mario! Keep it down!
Mario: Peach.
Peach goes to vote.
The King goes to vote.
The King: You're a good player, and that's why you have to go. Don't try your sob story on me.
Waluigi goes to vote.
Wario goes to vote.
Yoshi goes to vote.
Yoshi: Yoshi sorry, but must protect Peach from Wario. Good luck in future.
Lemmy: I'll go get the votes.
Lemmy fetches the vote bucket.
Lemmy: As a reminder, once I read the votes the decision is final, and the losing loser will have to crack their stick and get in my really big cannon immediately. First vote... Mario. Second vote... Waluigi. Third vote... Yoshi. Fourth vote... Yoshi. Fifth vote... Peach. I'll read the last vote... Mario.
Ominous music. A pause.
Lemmy: We have a tie. When we have a tie, a second vote must be cast to break it. Mario, Yoshi, you will not vote, the rest of you will. First, you two can give a speech trying to persuade the rest of your mass. Mario?
Mario: At least I'm not the one who lost the Immunity Challenge! Oh, and cheese!
Lemmy: Yoshi?
Yoshi: Yoshi sorry if Yoshi hurt anyone feelings. Yoshi try be helpful and kind, hope mass want keep Yoshi around.
Lemmy: It's time to vote again. Peach, you're up.
Peach goes to vote.
Peach: Mario, you've been a pain in my life for way to long. It's time for you to go. Once we merge, without you, I'll have plenty of time to... well, you know...
The King goes to vote.
Waluigi goes to vote.
Waluigi: *sob* I'm sorry! You don't deserve to go, but I promised Wario, and I'm afraid to break my promise.
Wario goes to vote.
Lemmy: I'll go get the votes, again.
Lemmy fetches the vote bucket, again.
Lemmy: Same rules apply. First vote... Yoshi. Second vote... Mario. Third vote... Yoshi. I'll read the last vote... Yoshi. Yoshi, I need you to crack your stick.
Yoshi cracks his stick... on his own head!
Yoshi: Yoshi sorry, wish mass good luck.
Lemmy: And now, the cannon.
Yoshi: Yoshi know...
Yoshi climbs into Lemmy's really big cannon, and Lemmy lights the fuse.
Lemmy: Yoshi... the mass has spoken.
BOOM! Yoshi is shot out of the cannon and into oblivion, pausing only to crash through the Pizza Hut sign just to the right of Morton's hole. He is soon out of sight.
Lemmy: That *sniff* was a very emotional Mass Massacre. You may all go back to base.
Mario Gang leaves, but slowly, as if everyone feels a little guilty about something.
