Chapter 3: The Beginning of the Quest

Aleth: Is everyone ready?

Everyone else gives some form of the affirmative.The group of nine jump through Star Road to reach Star Hill.

Star Flower 1: You must find all ten of us before we can give you the key to the Star Portal.

Psyche: Everyone should leave an object to show that each flower has been found.

After about 15 minutes, the last Star Flower is found.

Star Flower 10: Very good. Here is the Star Key to the Star Portal.

A key with a star on the handle appears.

Star Flower 5: This key opens the left portal. Tell it where to go and it will send you there.

Kamek opens the Star Portal.

Wendy: Barrel Volcano!

The portal turns from a silver blur into a perfect picture of the Barrel Volcano. Everyone but Aleth  leaps into the portal.

Aleth: Here, take this back.

Aleth tosses the Star Key back to the Star Flowers.

Star Flowers: Thank you.

Aleth jumps through the portal and it closes behind him. Everyone is warped to the Barrel Volcano.

Unknown: Come and get me!

The unknown character spits fireballs at the warriors. One hits Lemmy square in the chest. Wendy is very upset about this and shoots a stream of water at the fireball-spitting creature.

Unknown: ROAR! You shall pay!

Lshser: Yous bes Bones Dragns.

Bone Dragon: ROAR! Feel the wrath of my ten heads!

Bone Dragon spits fireballs and a fireball flies straight toward Aleth.

Psyche: NO!

Psyche blocks the fireball and falls to the ground with Aleth.

Karma: You’ll pay for that move, Bone Dragon!

Karma gathers energy and destroys four heads in an intense beam.

Bone Dragon: ROAR!

Bone Dragon spits a fireball at Karma.

Ludwig: You shouldn’t do that!

Ludwig drills into the fireball and saves Karma, but he hurts Aleth and Psyche even more. Aleth and Psyche eat a pair of Max Mushrooms and they destroy two more heads.

Kamek: Take this, Bone Dragon!

Kamek destroys the last of the heads with a magic beam.The ground rumbles underneath the feet of the warriors, and it swallows up the group.

Warriors: AHHHHHHHHHH!
