Chapter 33

Peach sighs. The image of the fat Ludwig von Koopa won’t leave her mind. "I think I’ve lost my appetite," Peach decides.

She hurries back to the throne room without any cookies.

Chapter 34

Peach reaches into her back pack and pulls out the slice of pizza she took from the secret room under the castle’s bridge.

Yoshi sniffs at the food. Unfortunately, Yoshi has never had pizza before, and does not wish to try any. He turns away from the food.

"Now what will I do?" frets the Princess. "I don’t seem to have any more food."

Fortunately, Yoshi knows that Peach was trying to help him. "Forp!" he commands. Peach jumps back on the dinosaur’s back, and they continue following the trail of footprints. Unfortunately, Peach is so grateful to Yoshi that she does not see an object mostly hidden in the bushes.

Chapter 35

All of a sudden, Peach and Yoshi reach an intersection. The footprints continue to the left, but there is a shiny shack on the right. Peach is about to go to the shack, when she remembers the adventures she had when she gave Yoshi the cookie.

"Better play it safe," she cautions herself and Yoshi. She continues to follow the trail of small footprints.

Chapter 36

All of a sudden, Peach and Yoshi reach an intersection. The footprints continue to the left, but there is a shiny shack on the right. Peach is about to go to the shack, when she remembers that she is supposed to follow the trail of small footprints.

"The shack looks so inviting, but I don’t want to get lost," says a confused princess. "What should I do?"

Chapter 37

Peach is just about to decide which way to go when she notices a hole in the ground. She jumps in and finds another warehouse. There is another sign here. It says:

Only two items per person. By order of The King.

Peach looks at her selection. She sees the following items: Pizza, Chocolate Bar, Cloud, Whistle, Helmet, Goomba’s Boot, Sledgehammer Suit, Fire Flower, Super Leaf, P Wing, Star, Frog Suit.

"Which should I choose?" asks the princess.

(Note: It is possible at this time to have all of the items here. If you want, Peach can take another of that item. Or, she can take a 1-Up Mushroom as a substitute for an item. Use the Mushroom to not count a death/lose and to return to the page you came from. Each 1-Up Mushroom counts as one item, and you can only take it if you already have all of these items.)

Peach makes her decision, and then goes down the road in the direction she chose.

(Peach now has the two items she chose!)

(If you think Peach should follow the footprints, go to chapter 39)

(If you think Peach should go to the shack, go to chapter 40)

Chapter 38

Peach only takes a few steps before she notices a hole in the ground. Peering in, she sees it is another warehouse, like the one in the secret room under the bridge. She jumps into. There is another sign here. It says:

Only two items per person. By order of the King.

Peach looks at her selection. She sees the following items: Pizza, Chocolate Bar, Cloud, Whistle, Helmet, Goomba’s Boot, Sledgehammer Suit, Fireflower, Super Leaf, P Wing, Star, Frog Suit.

Chapter 39

Peach decides to play it safe and follow the trail of footprints. "Besides," she reasons, "the shack doesn’t look very safe."

"Zorp!" agrees Yoshi.

Now that Peach has made her decision, she continues down the road.

(Turn to chapter 52)

Chapter 40

"I feel brave, let’s go to the shack!" Peach bravely decides.

"Plorp!" agrees Yoshi. The two heroes change course and hurry off to the right.

Peach guides Yoshi carefully. After a while, though, Peach lets Yoshi steer on his own. While Yoshi steers, the princess admires her red shoes with the very pointy high heels.

For a while, they see nothing. Suddenly, Susan B. Koopa, the mysterious Koopaling cousin, jumps out from behind a bush. Yoshi comes to an immediate halt and starts to shiver.

Susan laughs. "Now I have you, Princess! This will be the last time my Koopaling cousins laugh at me! Ha ha! This is my moment of triumph!"

Susan continues talking, but now Peach is just waiting impatiently. "How can I get away?" she wonders.

(If you think Peach should punch Susan, go to chapter 41)

(If you think Peach should kick Susan, go to chapter 42)

(If you think Peach should try to run away, go to chapter 43)

(If you think Peach is too weak to effectively do any of these things, go to chapter 44)

Chapter 41

Peach decides to punch the smelly Koopa Kid. She pulls back her arm and punches Susan as hard as she can. Unfortunately, Princesses can’t punch very hard. Peach’s hand now hurts as if she had hit a wall.

Susan laughs as Princess Toadstool stares at her hand. Then, the Koopa pushes Peach into a jail cell and locks the door. Leaving some bread and water, Susan laughs and runs away. "Wait until Bowser hears about this!"

Game Over!

Chapter 42

Peach decides to kick the smelly Koopa Kid. She pulls back her foot and kicks Susan as hard as she can. Unfortunately, that isn’t very hard, but fortunately, Peach is wearing her high-heeled shoes today. Susan goes flying. She falls into a lake and lands on top of her cousin, Wendy O. Koopa, who was taking an afternoon swim. The lake is promptly tinted green from the Koopa blood.

Usually, our fair princess cannot stand the sight of blood, but this time, Peach laughs at it. "I doubt I’ll be seeing her again," she chuckles.

On the ground, she notices an object that Susan dropped. In the water, Peach notices an object that Wendy dropped.

After taking both items, Peach is about to leave, when she wonders if she can get any information out of the two fallen Koopa Kids. "Should I ask for information? And if I do, who should I ask?" wonders Peach.

(Peach now has the Super Leaf!)

(Peach now has the Whistle!)

(If you think Peach should talk to Wendy O. Koopa, go to chapter 46)

(If you think that Peach should leave the Koopa females alone, go to chapter 47)

Chapter 43

Peach decides to try to run away from the smelly Koopa Kid. She runs for a few feet. Suddenly, a net pops up from the ground, and Peach finds herself hanging upside down in a tree.

Susan laughs. Obviously, she had planned for the Princess to try to run away. "I hate to leave you hanging," she laughs gleefully, "but I think I hear Bowser calling me. Ta ta!"

Game Over!

Chapter 44

Peach can’t think of any other options, so she waits and listens to the ugly Koopa.

"I’m going to put you in a dungeon, and slowly starve you to death," laughs Susan. "And just when you’re about to die, I will give you a feast. Then, I will starve you again and again. It’s pure torture!" she smiles, rubbing her hands.

"This is getting me nowhere," sighs Peach. "There has to be something I can do." "Norp," hopes Yoshi, covering his ears.

(If you think Peach should kick Susan, turn to chapter 42)

(If you think Peach should try to run away, turn to chapter 43)

(If you think Peach should wait some more, turn to chapter 44)

Chapter 45

Peach reaches her hand into the green water and fishes out Susan B. Koopa. "Who stole the Mario Brothers and who stole The King?" demands Peach. But the Koopa is still unconscious and only moans in reply.

Peach drops Susan to the ground and begins looking for Wendy O. Koopa, but finds that the sneaky Koopa has swum away while she was interrogating Susan.

Peach hops aboard Yoshi. "Maybe it’s better this way," Peach suggests to herself. "Anyway, I really do have to get back to the path of footprints.

Peach guides Yoshi back the way they came. Soon, they rediscover the trail of footprints. They continue to follow it.
