Mario and Luigi jump out of the entrance to Tick Tock Clock. Mario looks around the third floor of the castle, while Luigi takes several deep breaths.
Luigi: At least I'll never have to go back THERE again!
Mario: What are you talking about?
Luigi: Next time we have to collect 100 coins, I'm robbin' a bank!
Mario: We still don't have all the Stars yet, there must be another course somewhere around here.
Luigi: Like where?
Mario points to an opening in the wall to the right of the grandfather clock.
Luigi: Didn't we go there already?
Mario: No, that was that other place, over there!
Mario points to the opening to the left of the clock.
Luigi: Yeesh! Don't remind me!
Mario wall kicks up to the opening, and Luigi follows. They see a hole in the floor up ahead.
Luigi: This looks just like the one on the other side! It'll just take us to the same place again, I know it!
Mario grabs Luigi by one of his overall straps and jumps in the hole, pulling his brother in with him.
Luigi: Terrifyin' tortellini!
The two of them warp to a small island floating in the sky. Surrounding them are rainbows and more islands of various shapes and sizes.
Luigi: So. How do we get off of this thing?
Mario: Look over there, a flying carpet!
Mario points to a carpet floating on top of a rainbow that's connected to the island they're on. Mario then hops on the carpet, and it starts to move along the rainbow.
Mario: Hurry, Luigi!
Luigi makes a long jump for the carpet, but he doesn't quite make it.
Luigi: Mario! Help!
Mario sees that Luigi is hanging onto the carpet by his fingertips.
Mario: I gotcha!
Mario pulls Luigi onto the carpet.
Luigi: That was close!
Mario notices a blue block in their way.
Mario: Jump!
The Marios jump over the block.
Luigi: That was also close!
Mario spots a flamethrower up ahead, that crosses their path.
Mario: Jump! Again!
The Marios jump over a blast of fire. Soon, the carpet reaches the end of the path and begins to fall, but there is another platform for the Marios to jump onto.
Luigi: Now what?
Mario: Jump onto that spinning platform!
The Marios jump onto a platform that's spinning around really quickly.
Luigi: I think I'm gonna be sick!
Mario: Hey, it's a Lakitu!
The Lakitu tosses several Spinies onto the platform that the Marios are on.
Mario: Quick! Get off of this thing!
Luigi: Easy for you to say!
Several Spinies surround Luigi, and one jumps at him.
Luigi: Yeowch!
The Marios jump off of the platform, and onto another one.
Mario: We need to get off of these things!
Luigi shudders. They soon jump onto a stationary rectangular platform.
Mario: Hey, there's another carpet on a rainbow!
Luigi: I think we oughtta go together!
The Marios jump onto the carpet and start riding along the rainbow.
Luigi: This time, let's enjoy the ride.
As they ride along the rainbow, they jump over any blocks that get in their way. Up ahead, they notice two carpets.
Luigi: Which way do we go, Mario?
Mario: I dunno! But we'd better decide soon!
Luigi: How about we split up?
Mario: Sure. If you don't mind being alone!
Luigi: Please don't use the A-word around me!
Luigi looks to the right and sees donut lifts.
Luigi: Let's go left, it looks safer.
The Marios jump onto the left carpet and ride it.
Mario: You do realize that next time we're gonna hafta go right, don't you?
Luigi: I know. I know. But I wish I didn't!
Soon, the Marios pass under a board that's attached to a spinning platform.
Mario: This could get ugly.
Luigi: Whaddaya mean by that?
The carpet goes up in a spiral direction, and is about to collide with the spinning boards. Mario jumps over the board, but as Luigi jumps, he hits his face on the board, making an indent.
Mario: That's what I mean by ugly!
Luigi pulls himself onto the platform, and shakes the indent out of his face.
Mario: Luigi, get back here!
Luigi jumps back onto the carpet, but his nose is still bent out of shape. Mario is trying not to laugh.
Luigi: Don't say anything.
Mario: Jump!
Luigi: I told you not to-
Mario jumps over a triangular shaped block, and Luigi follows. They jump over two more triangular blocks, and onto some donut lifts. From there, they run onto a platform made of pseudo-looking blocks.
Luigi: Is that a doomship in front of us?
Mario: Maybe.
Luigi: I'm not goin' any further!
Mario: Hey, is that a Power Star I see on the bow?
Luigi: On second though, I am goin' any further!
Luigi crosses a plank onto the ship, and Mario follows.
Luigi: It's so close I can taste it!
Luigi jumps onto the bow of the ship, and is just a foot away from the Star. As he jumps at the Star, a gust of wind blows him back towards the stern of the ship, where Bob-ombs set off their fuse and chase Luigi around. It's hard for Luigi to run, because of the wind.
Luigi: Mario! Help!
Mario jumps onto the bow and walks underneath the Star. He then jumps up, grabs the Star, and we hear the Star music.
Mario: Here we go!
The Bob-ombs blow up in Luigi's face, and he tries to keep from falling over.
Luigi: Onto the next, the next, the next, ughh.
Luigi collapses.
