It's a nice day outside and Mario is at home with Luigi.
Mario: Nice day, ain't it Luigi?
Luigi: Oh yeah.
Mario: What?
Luigi: I said oh yeah.
Mario: Oh.
Just then the mailman comes to deliver the mail.
Mario: Hmm... We've got mail!
Mario goes outside to get the mail. Luigi comes with him.
Mario: Let's see what it says. (reading) Dear Mario. Please come to the castle. I have baked a cake for you. Yours truly, Princess Toadstool. Peach.
Luigi: Oh... cake. Mmm...
Mario: I want that cake.
Luigi: Me too.
Mario: What are you talking about? She only invited me!
Luigi: I want cake too you know!
Mario: Ok ok, sheesh!
Mario and Luigi go into a warp pape and show up at Peach's castle. But it seems a little quiet.
Mario: Hmm...
Suddenly Lakitu comes right in front of him.
Mario and Luigi: Ahh!
Lakitu: Am I that scary?
Luigi: Um...
Mario: I wasn't scared.
Lakitu: Sure...
Mario: ...
Lakitu: Anyway, I am here to film your adventure, Mario.
Mario: Huh?
Lakitu: Just go into the castle!
Mario: Ok.
Mario and Luigi go into the castle. Nothing happens.
Luigi: Well...
Lakitu: Wait for it.
Twenty minutes later...
Mario: Zzz...
Luigi: Boooorrrrinng.
Lakitu: I don't get it. He should've said something by now.
Go to wherever Bowser is with the princess.
Bowser: Zzz...
Princess: Mario is there!
Bowser: Huh? What?! Oh geez, I'm late.
Back to where Mario, Luigi, and Lakitu are...
Mario: That's it, I'm leaving!
Booming Voice: BWA HA HA HA!!! THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE HERE, NOW GO HOME!!! BWA HA HA HA HA HA!!! *cough*
Luigi: Oh no!
Mario: Looks like here we go!
Mario and Luigi walk around the castle and find a see-through Mushroom person.
Luigi: Look!
The Mushroom person becomes solid when they get close.
Mario: Cool!
Toad: Please don't do that. It's annoying!
Mario: Ok.
Luigi: Why are you here?
Toad: I'm here to tell you that Bowser has kidnapped the princess again.
Luigi: Figures.
Toad: The only way to get to her, Mario, is to get those Power Stars.
Mario: Me?
Mushroom Person: Yes you! Huh? What's Luigi doing here?
Luigi: I wanted cake too!
Toad: But only Mario is supposed to go on this adventure.
Luigi: Not according to the script.
Luigi shows Toad the title of the script.
Toad: I guess you're right.
Mario: Are we going or what?!
Toad: Yup! Hope you're ready for adventure.
Mario and Luigi: Oh yeah!
Toad: Then away you go!
