Mario heads for the Koopa, Luigi goes to the Bob-omb buddy.
Luigi: Hello there.
Bob-omb Buddy: Hey Luigi. What's up?
Luigi: Just looking for Stars. You?
Bob-omb Buddy: Not much. You look bored.
Luigi: Yup.
Bob-omb Buddy: I've got an idea.
Mario: Hello. Mr. Koopa?
Koopa: Hello Mario.
Mario: Huh? How do you know my name?

Mario leads until they get to the seesaw like bridge. He walks across with ease.
Mario: Ha! I bet Koopa the Quick is far behind.
Mario looks behind him, but he can't see Koopa the Quick.

Bob-omb Buddy: Checkmate!
Luigi: Aww man! That's three times you beat me!
Bob-omb Buddy: I used to be one of the best at chess back then.
Luigi: I can see that.
Meanwhile Mario is where the cannonballs are rolling back and forth.
Mario: This is easy, Huh?
Mario spots Koopa the Quick running up a hill ahead of him.
Mario: Hey! He cheated! No matter. I'm still gonna win.
Luigi: Is there a bathroom here?
Bob-omb Buddy: Nope. Sorry.
Luigi: Aww man!

Mario: Hello up there!

Mario passes Koopa the Quick, who runs his fastest to catch up with Mario.

Meanwhile Mario is near the top with Koopa the Quick right behind.

They are coming close to the flag at the top.
Koopa the Quick: Come on!

Mario touches the flag right before Koopa the Quick and wins the race.
Mario: Yippie!!!
Koopa the Quick: *pant* You really are *pant* fast.
Mario: That's-a right!
Koopa the Quick: You don't seem to be out of breath either.
Mario: Not much.
Koopa the Quick: Here is your reward for winning.
Mario: Reward?
Koopa the Quick hands a Power Star to Mario. We hear the Star music.
Mario: Here we go!!!
Koopa the Quick: We'll meet again Mario. Once I'm ready.
Mario: I'm sure of it. Bye.
Luigi: Yes! I finaly won on my 15th try!
Bob-omb Buddy: I gave you chances!
Luigi: Sure you did.
Mario shows up in a flash.
Mario: I got the Star!
Luigi: All right!
Mario: What were you doing here anyway?
Luigi: Playing chess.
Mario: WHAT?! You mean I was running like crazy to get this Star and you were playing chess?!
Luigi: Yup.
Mario: You're getting the next Star. You hear me?!
Luigi: Yeah yeah yeah.
