Mario and Luigi jump into the painting of Whomp's Fortress and warp there.
Luigi: Mario, where do you think we should look for the next Star?
Mario: Well, let's look around the pool.
Luigi: Okay.
The Bros. jump up to the shallow pool. Mario sticks his face in the water and looks around.
Luigi: Is that really necessary? The water's two feet deep!
Mario: I-CAN'T-BREATHE!
Luigi pulls Mario's face out of the water.
Mario: Thank-a you!
Luigi: Yeah. Hey, there's a Bob-omb Buddy!
They run to edge of the pool and up to the Bob-omb Buddy.
Bob-omb Buddy: Hi, I'll prepare the cannon for you!
He opens the cannon.
Bob-omb Buddy: Ready for blastoff! Hop into the cannon!
Luigi: Is that all you guys can say?
Bob-omb: More or less. Get used to it.
Mario: I see a Star over there! We can use the cannon to reach it!
Mario points to a Star, which is sandwiched between two horizontal platforms.
Luigi: I'll get it! Watch a pro!
Luigi jumps into the cannon. He aims for the Star but hits a wall and falls down to where the Blue Coin switch is. He presses it and collects some Blue Coins.
Luigi: That wasn't so bad.
Mario shoots out of the cannon and hits the same wall Luigi did.
Mario: No-a fair! You took all the coins!
Luigi: Hey, I got a better idea!
Luigi wall kicks up to the platform with the Star.
Mario: Hey, that's cheating!
Luigi: Explain how!
Mario: Well, the Star is called "Shoot into the Wild Blue", so you're supposed to use the cannon-
Luigi grabs the Star and we hear the Star music.
Luigi: Here we go!
Mario: -the Star, which is why there's
a cannon there in the first place. I mean, onto the next Star!
