The Bros. had finally done it. They had defeated Bowser. After collecting the gigantic Power Star Bowser had left behind, they donned Wing Caps.
Luigi: So, what now?
Mario: WHEEEE!!!
Mario had jumped off of the side of the arena.
Luigi: MARIO!
Luigi triple-jumped off and flew as fast as he could downwards. When he reached the ground outside the castle, he saw a hole in the bridge shaped like Mario. Mario was lieing face up in the now-drained moat, a goofy smile on his face.
Mario: Leph go again! Leph go again!
Luigi: *sigh*
Luigi jumped into the hole and picked Mario up to carry him back. After two hours of back-breaking labor, they made it back to the bridge. Mario regained his minimal amount of sense and jumped off of Luigi.
Luigi: *groan* You really need to go on a diet.
Luigi took the gigantic Power Star out of his pocket somehow.
Luigi: I think we need to work together to throw it up to the castle, Mario.
Mario snatched the Star from Luigi and tossed it up to the castle by himself.
Luigi: *SIGH*
The Star floated in front of the stained-glass window of Peach for a minute before disappearing. In its place was Peach. She floated down to the ground and walked up to the Bros.
Peach: Mario! Luigi! The power of the Stars is restored to the castle. Thank you so much!
She walked up to Luigi and gave him a kiss on the nose.
Luigi: Here we go!
She walked up to Mario and gave him a kiss on the nose.
Mario: Here we go!
Peach: Now let’s go inside and bake a cake for my heroes!
Peach entered the castle, with Mario and Luigi following.
Luigi: Onto the next— Oh, never mind!
