Mario and Luigi enter the big star door in the basement. They see a huge blue liquid-like wall.
Luigi: Ooh...
Mario: I bet that'll transport us to a new level! Let's a-go!
Luigi: Ok!
Mario and Luigi both go inside the liquid-like wall. They are transported to the sky high above some kind of lake. After they're transported there, they quickly fall into the drink.
Luigi: Waaah!!!
SPLASH!!!
Luigi: No way! This water hole is DEEP! I'm not going down there, I could drown!
Mario: But if we don't go down there, we won't get any Stars. Come on, it can't be that deep.
Luigi: Well, ok.
Mario and Luigi go underwater but Luigi quickly resurfaces.
Luigi: *gasp* No way! There's a big whirlpool there!
Mario: We just don't get near it! Come.
Mario pulls Luigi by the leg and makes
him go underwater. They stay underwater for a bit, and look
around. Mario sees a tunnel and motions
Luigi to go in. Luigi nods and Mario speeds off ahead of him. They enter
a tunnel and swim all the way to a part that the tunnel goes up after a
while of going up, they reach a part that there is still air in the tunnel
and resurface.
Luigi: *gasp* Look, the tunnel continues down here.
Mario Let's a-go!
They both go underwater and continue down the tunnel. After going down a while, the tunnel goes straight and ends in a huge water hole like the first. They quickly resurface and see a big submarine with Bowser's picture on it.
Mario: Hey! Look, a submarine.
Luigi: Yeah, let's get out of the water over there on that long ledge over there by the wall.
They both swim to a ledge by the wall and get out of the water.
Mario: Hmm, maybe there are Stars here.
Luigi: Hey! Look, there's a Star on top of that submarine!
Mario: Yes, yes, it's true! But how do we get on top of that big thing?
Luigi: I don't know. Let's see, you look for it over here on dry land and I'll look for it underwater.
Mario: I thought you were scared.
Luigi: Yeah, but there seems to not be any hazards here.
Mario: Ok, I'll investigate those two special cap blocks over there.
Luigi dives in the water as Mario goes to investigate a blue and a green cap block. Luigi looks around underwater and sees some clam shells. When one opens up, he sees that there's a troopa shell inside.
Luigi: (This'll be fun!)
Luigi quickly grabs the shell and the Starman music plays as he swims super fast around the water hole. Suddenly he swims really fast to the surface and makes a giant leap out of the water. The problem is, the jump is so big that he crashes against the wall and falls on top of a big purple switch with an exclamation mark on the middle. After he falls on top of it, boxes magically appear as steps that lead to the top of the submarine.
Luigi: Oh... mama... mia...
Mario quickly runs towards the steps and climbs them to reach the top of the submarine. He grabs the Star and the Star music plays.
Mario: Here we go!
Both of them are immediately transported outside.
Luigi: On to the... next... Star.
Mario: Hey, look! There's a small hole over there!
Luigi: You're right. That wasn't there the last time.
Mario: Hmm, this looks suspicious. Do you think we should go there?
Luigi: Probably, because it could be a course or something. But let's go in later.
Mario: Ok, later.
