Mario and Luigi are just exiting a certain lava portrait when they spot a certain rabbit.
Mario: What's that, Luigi?
Luigi: Beats me, should we ask him?
Mario: Yes, let's.
As the Mario Bros. get near the rabbit, the rabbit darts off at high speed.
Mario: WHA!
Luigi: Hmm...
Mario: Catch it!
Luigi: Why? He hasn't done any harm...
Mario: Because I say so! Grr... I feel he has something important.
Luigi: *sigh* Ok.
The Mario Bros. chase the rabbit for half an hour but to no avail.
Mario: He's too fast.
Luigi: *huff, puff... wheeze* I´m no good at running!
Mario: We have to use strategy!
Luigi: Congrats Ludwig!
Mario: Wha? Anyway, you wait for him in front of that desert portrait.
Luigi: But there's no portrait! It's just a wall leading to a desert world!
Mario: Wall, portrait, same thing.
Luigi: Ok, I´ll wait here.
Mario: Alright! When the rabbit comes, get it!
Luigi: Ok! Get on with it!
Mario chases the rabbit again. When the rabbit gets close to Luigi it gasps.
Rabbit: *GASP* These mindless fools used strategy!
The rabbit darts between Luigi´s
legs and does a beautiful backflip to land on Luigi's head, then darts
super fast away from them.
Mario: Nooooo... (slow motion)
Mario lunges at the the rabbit (in slow motion) with all his might, and manages to grab it. He falls face-first in the ankle-deep water on the basement floor.
Mario: Glub... I... glub... got it! Glub... Ugh, this water tastes bad.
Rabbit: Ok! I give! Uncle! Take the Star and don´t hold me too tight! I have a date you know!
Luigi: Star?
The Star music plays as a Star comes out of the rabbit.
Rabbit: OOF! Lemme go you bully!
Mario: Goodbye lil' rabbit!
Luigi: The Star is mine!
Mario: NO! It's mine because you didn´t help me one bit!
Mario kicks Luigi in the face and gets the Star.
Mario: Here we go!
Luigi: Ow! You didn´t have to do that!
Mario: Onto the next Star!
