Mario and Luigi show up again outside of the Haunt.
Luigi: Mario! Did we have to go here AGAIN?!
Mario: This place is fun!
Luigi: Easy for you to say! You wern't the one being chased by all those wierd thingies!
Mario: Being chased by what?
Luigi: I rest my case...
Mario: Let's go!
Luigi: Well, let's get it over with.
Mario: We'll both go into the mansion.
Luigi: Good!
A spider approaches.
Luigi: Yikes!
Luigi runs inside. Mario picks up the spider.
Mario: What's so bad about this?
The spider pokes Mario in the eye.
Mario: YEOW!!! THAT HURT YOU STUPID SPIDER!!!
Spider: *snicker*
Mario: OH! You think it's funny, don't ya?! WELL SEE IF THIS IS FUNNY!!!
Mario spins the spider around and around and tosses it about a mile high.
Mario: Take that! Stupid spider.
Mario goes inside, only to see Luigi running from two Boos.
Luigi: HELP!!!
Mario: Oh brother...
Mario jumps in and pounds both ghosts.
Mario: There! Happy?
Luigi: Not really, no.
Mario: ...
Luigi: Well, where should we go?
Mario: Let's go upstairs.
Luigi: Ok.
They do so and turn left.
Luigi: I say the last door.
Mario: I say the one before it.
Luigi: Yes, oh fearless leader...
They enter. And before them is a hallway with books on each side.
Luigi: Oh no way! Notta doin'!
Luigi tries to run back out but Mario stops him.
Mario: Let's proceed, shall we?
Luigi: But those books are evil!
Mario: In this place, what isn't, hmm?
Luigi: Well there's... Good point.
Mario: Good! You first.
Luigi: But...
Mario is seen stamping his foot.
Luigi: Ok ok. I'll go.
Luigi slowly goes forward, hoping nothing will happen. But as soon as he steps in a book shoots out of one of the shelves and bonks him on the head.
Luigi: Ouch!
Luigi then starts running to the end of the hallway, getting hit by three more books in the process. He finally makes it to the end.
Luigi: Stupid books!!!
Mario: My turn.
Mario runs through without getting hit.
Luigi: *grumble*
Mario: Yay! We made it!
Luigi: Not quite.
Mario: Huh?
Luigi: There's another hallway.
Mario: Oh brother. You first.
Luigi: But I went-
Mario pushes Luigi into the second hallway.
Luigi: Hey!
Mario: *snicker*
Luigi: Why you...
Books start to pop out.
Luigi: Yikes! Whoa! Help!
Luigi dodges books all the way to the end.
Luigi: Woohoo! I didn't get hit! Huh? Hey! Where do I go from here?! It's a dead end!
Mario: Try to look for something suspicious!
Luigi: Ok! Huh? There's three books not pushed all the way in.
Mario: Well, push 'em in, will ya?
Luigi: Fine. I'll try the one on my left.
Luigi get's a shock.
Luigi: Y-y-e-e-o-o-o-w-w-w!!!
The book comes back out.
Mario: Oh brother. This could take a while.
Luigi: Stupid books! I'l try this one then.
Luigi pushes the book on his right, but...
Luigi: Y-y-e-e-o-o-o-w-w-w!!!
Mario: Wake me when it's over. Zzz...
Mario goes to sleep.
Luigi: Well then the first one must be the one in the middle.
Luigi pushes the middle one, and there is no shock.
Luigi: Then, um... this one.
Luigi pushes the book on his left...
Luigi: Y-e-e-o-o-u-u-w-w-c-c-h-h!!!
All three books come back out.
Luigi: Oie... Well there's only one order now.
Luigi pushes the middle book, then the right book, and lastly the left book.
Luigi: There! Finally that's done! Now to get Mari- Huh?
The wall starts to move to the left, revealing the rest of the hallway and a door at the end. Mario wakes up hearing this.
Mario: Huh? What? Oh look at that! It's the end of the hallway!
Mario and Luigi run to the end of the hallway and open the door. In the other room is a Power Star.
Luigi: Hey there it is! It's mine!
Luigi claims the Star. Then he does the Star Dance.
Luigi: Here we go!
Mario: Onto the next Star!
