Mario and Luigi again show up in the Haunt.
Luigi: Why are we here AGAIN?! I've had more than I can stand from this place!
Mario: Stars.
Luigi: ...
Mario: Now let's go!
Luigi: But where? We've looked everywhere!
Mario: Almost.
Luigi: Huh?
Mario: When we found the third floor we went straight to the balcony. We didn't look around first.
Luigi: Oh.
Mario: Let's go take a look.
Luigi: Ok.
The head to the third floor, yet having to get through a few obastacles on the way.
Mario: Ok now. Where to look?
Luigi: STUPID BOOK!!! GET AWAY FROM ME!!!
The book takes Luigi and tosses him to the other end of the room.
Luigi: Ok. That's it. Let's settle this outside. Mario!
Mario: Yes?
Luigi: I've got some business, be right back.
Mario: Ok.
Luigi grabs the book and heads outside. What happens is too brutal to describe.
Luigi (from outside): Yeowch!!! Ayeyeyeyeye!!! Owwww!!!
Mario: Hmmm.. Huh?
Mario sees a Boo picture.
Mario: Just a picture. Huh?!
A Boo comes out.
Mario: There must be something on the other side!
Luigi comes back in, all beat up.
Mario: Well? Done with your business, Luigi?
Luigi: *moan*
Mario: Pound that switch over there. Then grab one of the coins.
Luigi: O...k...
Luigi pounds the switch with the strength he has left and Blue Coins appear. He takes a few and feels better in an instant.
Luigi: Much better.
Mario: Luigi! Look here! A Boo picture!
Luigi shivers.
Mario: I think there's something on the other side.
Luigi: Let's break it down.
Mario: Ok!
They start to charge at the picture. But in the end they wind up with headaches.
Luigi: Ow! My head!
Mario: There's got to be some way to get in there.
Luigi: Too bad we aren't ghosts.
Mario: Oh yes! Of course! Aren't Vanish Caps somewhat like that?
Luigi: Oh yeah!
Mario: Let's go!
They head out of the room. Luckily Luigi remembers where a Vanish Cap is since he found one when looking for the last red coin before. They head over to the door right beside the see-saw and enter. In front of them is the Vanish Cap box.
Mario: I'll get it!
Mario busts the box open, takes the Vanish Cap, and runs back to the picture and goes right through it, just in time as the Vanish Cap wares off.
Mario: Whoa!!!
Meanwhile back where Luigi is....
Luigi: My turn.
Luigi takes the Vanish Cap and starts for the room, but doesn't make it.
Luigi: Aww. Gotta try again.
Where Mario is...
Mario: Whoa! That is one BIG eye! Is it staring at me?
Luigi (on other side of the picture): Almost had it!
Mario: Stop staring!
The eye continues to stare.
Mario: I said stop!
Luigi (still on other side of picture): Aw man! So close!
Mario goes left, the eye turns left. Mario goes right, the eye does the same. Meanwhile Luigi is still trying to get in.
Mario: Grr...
Luigi (STILL on other side of picture): ARGH!!!
Mario: Let's see how this eye handles being dizzy.
Mario starts to run around the eye. It still follows him, but eventually it get dizzy and disappears. A Power Star appears right after that happens.
Mario: Yahoo!
Mario claims the Star and does the Star Dance.
Mario: Here we go!
Luigi finally makes it in.
Luigi: Finally! I'm in!
Mario: On to the next Star!
Luigi: WHAT?! Oh brother...
