Mario and Luigi are in the drained moat.
Mario: Let's go get those red coins!
Luigi: Why should I?
Mario: Because if you don't, I'll publish these pictures of you playing with Barbie dolls!
Luigi: Ok!
Mario and Luigi enter the hole. Mario slides down to get the two red coins nearby. Luigi slides down to get the other two. Mario and Luigi both grab a Vanish Cap to skip all the obstacles until they get to the moving platforms. Luigi throws Mario into the abyss, and he ends up in the moat!
Mario: ):-D At least he forgot about the pictures!
Mario goes home to Brooklyn and publishes the pictures of Luigi playing with girls' dolls. Then he goes back to the castle and clogs the second hole in the moat. The water overflows and pours into the Vanish Cap course!
Luigi: Uh oh! This place is gonna be an aquarium soon! (An aquarium without fish, that is!)
Luigi hurries across the platforms, collects the last red coins, and gets the Vanish Cap to get the Star!
Luigi: Here we go!
Luigi prepares to jump into the abyss, but it is too flooded to jump into!
Luigi: I guess I'll have to use the hole.
Luigi gets in the water and swims to the hole when the water is filled up to it.
Luigi: The moat is gonna overflow!
Luigi runs and goes into a pipe to Brooklyn, but the water is pouring in, flooding Brooklyn!
Brooklyn Citizen: Quick! Clog the pipe!
The water pressure is too strong for it. Then Luigi gets an idea. Citizens are laughing at him over the pictures, but he doesn't care. Luigi goes to the Metal Cave and builds a dam to keep the water out.
Mario: OH NO! WHAT HAVE I DONE?!
Mario goes to the closed hole and opens it. Suddenly the dam in the cave breaks and the water level goes back to normal. But the water in the drained moat returns! Mario and Luigi go to the basement and pound a pillar each. Suddenly the water goes back to the way it was most of the time, drained!
Mario: Did you get the Star?
Luigi: Yup!
Mario: On to the next Star then!
