At this time Mario and Luigi are in the basement wandering around.
Mario: Where to go, where to go...
Luigi: I wanna go home.
Mario: Not an option.
Luigi: ...
Mario: Hey! Look at that picture over there. The fireball. I remember it moving when we went by it last time.
Luigi: I didn't.
Mario: Shut up. I'm going to try to jump in.
Luigi: You're gonna hurt yourself.
Mario: No I won't. Watch me.
Mario starts running toward the picture.
Luigi: (to himself) I'm just gonna close my eyes. Then when I open them Mario will be laying on the floor.
Luigi closes his eyes. A few seconds he opens his eyes.
Luigi: Ha! You're on the fl- Huh?
Luigi sees no Mario on the floor but the picture is moving.
Luigi: Argh! Why does Mario have to be right?!
Luigi runs to the picture and jumps in.
Mario: Gees it's hot here. Lot's of lava.
Mario than sees a sign that says "Lethal Lava Land".
Mario: Oh, so that's the name of this place.
Luigi than shows up beside Mario.
Mario: See? I told you the picture was a world.
Luigi: ...
They take a look at the place.
Luigi: Sheesh! It's hotter here than on the hottest summer day.
Mario: Come on! This place must have some Stars.
Luigi: Coming... Whoa...
Luigi loses his balance and falls off the platform and into the lava, then races back out high in the air.
Luigi: OWOWOWOWOWOW!!!
Mario: What a baby.
Luigi: That stuff is HOT Mario!
Mario: Duh! I know that!
Luigi: ...
Mario: Come on!
They make thier way to the end of the straight platfrom, after jumping arcoss a lava pit which Luigi fell in. Then after they turn left they end up at a small junction.
Mario: I say left.
Luigi: I say right.
Mario: You go your way and I'll go mine.
Luigi: Fine.
Mario and Luigi go the ways they chose. Luigi falls into the lava again right after.
Luigi: OWOWOW!!!
Meanwhile Mario, comes up to an eye looking at him.
Mario: What are you looking at?!
The eye just looks at him.
Mario: ?
Mario starts moving left and the eye follows him.
Mario: Stop it!
Mario moves right and the eye follows him again.
Mario: Hey!!!
The eye is still looking at Mario.
Mario: Oh now you're gonna get it.
Mario starts running around the eye numerous times, making the eye feel so dizzy that it spins out and disappears.
Mario: Hmph.
Luigi comes up behind him.
Luigi: Hey Mario.
Mario: Luigi? I thought you were going the other way.
Luigi: After falling in the lava three times? No way.
Mario: Well come on then.
A little ways after that Mario and Luigi come up to a Bowser puzzle on the ground. Luigi gulps.
Mario: The pieces are moving.
Mario and Luigi hop onto the puzzle. Mario makes it safely but Luigi walks on a moving piece. Then when it moves...
Luigi: OWOWOWOWOWOW!!!
Mario: *sigh*
A little further Mario and Luigi show up on an island with a big fire stick that's rotating.
Mario: This should be easy.
Luigi: Yeah... right.
(Mario makes it by with ease and so does Luigi, surprisingly.
Luigi: I can't believe it.
Then Luigi falls into the lava again.
Luigi: OWOWOWOWOW!!!
After that Mario and Luigi show up on this island with a big Bob-omb-shaped bad guy with horns on his head known as a Big Bully.
Luigi: Yikes!
Luigi hides behind Mario.
Mario: Come on!
The Big Bully charges toward Mario. Mario moves away and he hits Luigi instead, pushing him into the lava.
Luigi: NOT AGAIN OWOWOWOWOW!!!
Mario: Nice try! Ha!
The Big Bully charges at Mario again. Mario moves and the Big Bully misses him and runs into the lava. Then a Star appears on the island close to Mario, and some steps to the island appear too.
Mario: Yahoo!
Luigi: Let me get it!
Luigi goes on the steps but they fall and he goes into the lava again.
Luigi: (This is getting old.) OWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!
Mario: I'll get it.
Mario jumps on the step and jumps off fast enough to get to the island. He then claims the Star.
Mario: Here we go!
Luigi grumbles.
Mario: On to the next Star!
