Mario and Luigi show up in Cool, Cool Mountain again after entering the painting.
Mario: Where to next?
Luigi: As long as it's not where that Mama Penguin is, I'll be fine.
Mario: How about red coins?
Luigi: Oh great. Let's just get this over with.
Mario: Look, there's one on that tree up there.
Luigi: I'll get it.
Luigi jumps on and climbs the tree. He then grabs the red coin at the top.
Mario: I think I saw coins all over in this place.
Luigi: This'll take a while.
Mario: Let's start the search by using the slide.
Luigi: Ok.
They make their way down the slide, and spot a coin way below them as they’re crossing the bridge.
Mario: Quick, let's jump down.
Luigi: This won’t be pretty.
They jump to where the coin is, Mario getting his feet stuck in the snow, and Luigi getting his face stuck.
Mario: Hehe, lookie! I have no legs.
Luigi: Get me out of here!
Mario pulls Luigi out.
Luigi: Let's grab that coin and go on.
Mario: Look! I see another near a broken bridge.
Luigi: Then let's go.
They grab the second coin and jump down to where the bridge is, hurting themselves because of the height.
Mario: Ow.
Luigi: That was higher than it looked.
Mario: Hey! There's the Star marker too.
Luigi: We’d better remember that for later.
Mario: Let's save this coin for last.
Luigi: Ok.
Mario: Oh look! I see a coin near the Mama Penguin!
Luigi: Wonderful...
Mario: Let's go get it.
Luigi: Oh boy...
They jump all the way down to where the coin is, and the Mama Penguin.
Mama: MY BABY!!! WHERE IS MY BABY?!
Luigi: If this keeps up I'm going to lose it.
Mario: I'll get the coin.
Mario climbs the tree and grabs the coin.
Mario: Let's get the one near that warp.
Luigi: Let's just get away from this penguin, shall we?!
They run to the broken bridge and grab the coin. They then warp back to the top of the mountain.
Luigi: Ah... My ears are free again.
Mario: How about we take the whole slide this time?
Luigi: Agreed.
They take the slide all the way to where the snowman's head is. Luigi spots another coin besides the wall.
Luigi: There's another one.
Luigi grabs it.
Luigi: Three more left.
Mario: Make that two more left to find. We skipped the one near the Star marker, remember?
Luigi. Oh yeah.
Mario: Let's take a look near that chairlift.
They approach the chairlift and jump down next to where you have to get on and land right on another coin.
Mario: I thought I saw one here.
Luigi: Just one left to find, and two left to get.
Mario: Let's start searching.
They split up and start, but find nothing wherever they look. One hour later, they meet at the top.
Mario: Any luck?
Luigi: No. You?
Mario: I'm sure we searched everywhere it could be. I searched all over the top, and you searched all over the bottom.
Luigi: Um, actually...
Mario: Don't tell me you didn't check near the penguin.
Luigi: Well what do you think?! That penguin drives me crazy!
Mario: Come on then, let's look.
Luigi: *sigh*
They head down to where the Mama Penguin is.
Mama: WHERE'S MY BABY?!
Luigi: I am not listening! I will stay sane!
Mario: Let's check near that warp again.
Luigi: Let's go quick!
They head over near the broken bridge where the warp is.
Mario: You know, did we ever think to look behind here?
Luigi: I don't think so.
Mario: Let's check.
They look behind the warp and sure enough the coin is there.
Luigi: Let's grab it.
They grab it and use the warp to get back to the top of the mountain.
Mario: Well, all that's left is the one near the marker.
Luigi: Let's go.
They head over to the coin using the same path they used when getting the second red coin. Luigi grabs the coin and the Star appears on the other side of the bridge.
Luigi: I'll long jump.
Mario: This looks like a tough one.
Luigi: I can handle it.
Luigi jumps, but bounces of the end of the other side and falls all the way down to the bottom of the mountain, landing near the penguin.
Mama: MY BABY!!!
Luigi: Oie...
Mario: My turn.
Mario long jumps and just barely makes it. He grabs the Star and does the Star Dance.
Mario: Here we go!
Luigi: (while plugging his ears) On
to the next Star!
