Mario and Luigi jump into the Bob-omb painting and end up in Bob-omb Battlefield.
Mario: So, any ideas for our next Star, big little brother?
Luigi: Well, I remember seeing that big Chomp guarding a Star. We should go check it out.
Mario and Luigi run up the ramp and over near the big Chomp. Behind him is a Star locked in a cage that’s built into the rock.
Mario: There it is, over there!
They run over to the cage but Chomp lunges at them. He misses but shocks the Brothers.
Luigi: Hey, what’s the big idea?
Chomp: #&$&$&*!
Mario: I don’t see a lock, doorknob, or anything on this cage. How are we supposed to open it?
Luigi: One of us could squeeze through the bars!
They try to slip through the bars but they can’t fit.
Mario: We could both cut down on the rigatoni!
Luigi: I don’t what we can do! I’m stumped!
Mario looks at the Chomp and starts to think. His face suddenly lights up.
Mario: That’s it! I’ve got an idea! Go get the shell from that Koopa Troopa over there! Then ride around in it to distract the Chomp. I can then try and remove his stump so he can get free and give us more time to figure out how to open the cage!
Luigi: Good idea, Mario! I’ll be right back!
Luigi runs off, dodging the Chomp, and jumps on the Koopa Troopa. His shell flies off and Luigi rides it back to the Chomp.
Luigi: Now, Mario! I’ve got him distracted!
Chomp: @#$%*!
The Chomp pays attention to Luigi, who is doing wheelies and other stunts on his shell. Mario jumps on the stump and ground pounds it a few times. Eventually it goes into the ground and the chain breaks off. Luigi crashes into the Chomp and loses the shell.
Luigi: Oh no, I got him really angry!
The Chomp starts to chase Luigi but after following him for a few seconds he realizes that he is now free.
Chomp: !!!
Luigi: I’m really starting to hate you, you overgrown carnivore!
Chomp turns around and heads for the cage. He jumps and hits the cage, causing it to break open. He then jumps off and disappears.
Mario: I don’t know what that Chomp thinks of us Luigi, but we just got ourselves another Star!
Mario jumps at the Power Star. We then hear Power Star music.
Mario: Here we go!
Luigi: You get away with all the easy
stuff! I mean, onto the next Star!
