Mario and Luigi are in Delfino Plaza, standing by the lighthouse, looking at a green warp pipe.
Mario: Where do you think it goes?
FLUDD: I believe it goes to-
Luigi: No! Wait! I know where it goes! It goes to... no, wait... no, I don't.
FLUDD: As I was saying, I believe it leads to the Delfino Plaza Secret Slide-
Luigi: Ooh! A slide! ENTERTAINING FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!
FLUDD2: *sigh*
FLUDD: We have to cross these little islands one by one until we get to the warp pipe.
Mario: Works for me.
They jump from island to island and jump into the warp pipe. They appear at the start of a humongous slide.
Luigi: WOW!
Mario: Yeah. Hey, look!
Mario spots a Shine Sprite down at the bottom.
Mario: Look! A Shine Sprite!
Luigi: Let's get it! But it looks like we're going to have to slide down the slide.
FLUDD2: Affirmative, Luigi.
Mario and Luigi line up and start sliding on their tummies down the slide. They get to the part with many holes inside it. Luigi falls into one, falling into the abyss.
Luigi: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
He loses a life and appears at the top of the slide. Mario is already almost down to the bottom.
Mario: Come to me, Shine!
Luigi: Hmm...
Luigi turns FLUDD2 into Turbo Nozzle mode. He slides down the slide using the Turbo Nozzle. He finally jets past Mario, just as Mario is about to grab the Shine. He grabs it and does the Shine Dance.
Mario: Hey! Where'd you come from?
Luigi: Ha! Onto the next Shine!
Mario: Hmph.
