After just jumping out of the M to Ricco Harbor, the Mario Bros. stop to rest.
Mario: Boy, am I beat.
Luigi: This is-a hard work!
Mario: Well, we are on vacation.
Luigi: Yeah, let's relax a bit.
Police Guy: Not so fast! You guys still have work to do!
Luigi: Wha!
A police guy stares over Mario and Luigi.
Mario: H..how-a long have you been here?
Police Guy: About an hour.
Luigi: Creepy...
Police Guy: You guys should know that there is still pollution in Ricco Harbor's water.
Mario: But we took-a care of that squid!
Police Guy: But there is still pollution around the sewer drain.
Luigi: That sounds right...
Police Guy: But it's normally clean! You guys need to get down there and fix things.
Luigi: Fine-a.
Mario and Luigi jump back into the M and land in Ricco Harbor.
Luigi: Will we ever get a break?
Mario: I don't know. Maybe there's something fun here to do-a.
Luigi: Wait, I just thought of something... if the water is-a polluted, how will-a we get in?
FLUDD 2: Perhaps we can ride on those Bloopers.
Mario and Luigi look in the direction of a man next to three Bloopers, one green, one yellow, and the other pink.
Mario: Wow!
Man: Hey, you guys are the famous, well known, Mario Brothers!
Luigi: Yup.
Man: How would you two like to ride my fabulous Bloopers?
Mario: Hey, this will-a be fun!
Man: It sure is! The green one is slowest but has the best control. The pink is the fastest but it's hard to control. The yellow is balanced.
Luigi: Green-a for me!
Mario: I want to have a blast! I'll take the pink-a one!
Mario and Luigi hop on their Bloopers and take off.
Guy: Have a good time now!
Mario: Wheee! This is-a fu-
WHAM!
Mario: Oww... I just crashed into the wall...
Luigi: Haha! Faster isn't always-a better!
Mario shakes his head and gets back on his Blooper. Then he notices the polluted drain.
Mario: Luigi! Look!
FLUDD: That is the drain.
Luigi: Good job! Let's-a go!
Mario: Hey! That's-a my line!
Mario and Luigi surf into the drain. They end up in a secret obstacle course.
Mario: Wow! This-a looks fun!
Surf Guy: Welcome! This is my custom-made course for Blooper surfers!
Luigi: This-a must be the source of the po- wait... you mean we can ride on this course?
Surf Guy: Sure! Just hop on a Blooper and go!
Mario: Let's-a go!
Surf Guy: Wait, only one of you can ride at a time.
Luigi: Me first!
As Luigi said this, Mario was already on the pink Blooper.
Mario: I'm ready!
Surf Guy: Ready... set... GO!!!
Mario starts off with a burst of speed. He quickly maneuvers the first turn, nearly slamming into the wall.
Mario: Whoa!
Mario makes a few more turns and comes apon some pink thingies sticking out of the water.
Mario: Uh oh!

Mario turns left and barely avoids hitting the thing. It takes him some time to get back on track.

Mario comes apon a curved path.
Mario: I'll-a never make it this way! Hmm... the sides look short...
Mario drives right toward the side and makes a great leap. He lands on top of it and jumps over all the curves.

Mario sees the finish line and starts going as fast as he can. He makes it across the finish line.

Surf Guy: Good job! You've won a prize!
Mario: Really?
The surf guy hands Mario a Shine Sprite and Mario does the dance.
Luigi: Aww.. I wanted it.
Surf Guy: Now wait a second. I have one more here, and I'll give it to you if you can complete it within 40 seconds.
Luigi: Sure! Let's see... I need to be able to go fast, but I need good control too.
Luigi hops on the yellow Blooper.
Surf Guy: Ready... set... GO!!!
Luigi starts off as fast as he can go. With some work, he makes it past most of the curves. He moves left and right avoiding the pink things.

Luigi hops all the curves as fast as possible and makes a mad dash for the finish line.

The surf guy hands out the Shine Sprite, but Luigi is still on the Blooper. Mario grabs it and does the Shine Dance.
