Luigi: What the...
Before Luigi can finish his sentence, Mario tosses Luigi into the portal to Ricco Harbor. Mario follows close behind.
Luigi: OW! I landed on my head, you numbskull!
Mario: YAY! Dun, dun, dun, dun dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun.
Luigi: Anyhow, I remember this is the eighth time here. I don't know what to do. It is just the last time we beat Gooper, I saw something tall, as in construction equipment and a glowing yellow thing in the distance like behind that thing. MPH!!! *rip* Hey! I already finished my sentence.
Mario: The duct tape was your sentence for the crime of longwindedness. HEY WAIT A MINUTE! You said yellow glowing thingy?! LET'S-A GO!
Luigi: That's the spirit!
The Marios head over to the area they originally fought Gooper Blooper for the first time. They see Luigi's reference point, but it is indeed far in the distance and way too high even for the likes of a rocket jump.
Mario: Oh look! It is a Yoshi egg! I think I'll adopt it and name it Ben.
Luigi: Um...
Mario: Never mind. It needs a durian.
Luigi: WHERE IS ANYONE GOING TO FIND A FRUIT AT A HARBOR?!
Mario: Imports?
Pianta Man: My, my. This fruit vending machine is so inconvenient. WHY IS THAT CHUCKSTER SITTING OUT ON A PLATFORM IN THE OCEAN?!
Luigi: Hey! What is a Chuckster?
Pianta Man: I need fruit.
Mario: Hey! Where is the vending machine?
Pianta: That big thingy behind you.
The Brothers jump to the machine. They see two knobs on top to pound. They pound the machine. Finally, when it has only one fruit left, a durian pops out on a mountain of fruit.
Pianta: MINE!
Brothers: NO, MINE!
The three competitors kick the mountain of fruit aside, where it is ruined by the salt water of the harbor. The Pianta man tries to eat the only durian, but Mario body slams him, somehow causing the fruit to bounce around and towards the water.
Luigi: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Luigi does a tummy slide and presses
A to do a "broad jump" at that point where he quickly decends to grab the
spiky fruit before it hits the harbor. Luigi goes through a lot of trouble
bringing the painful fruit up
to the higher ground where the Yoshi
awaits, only to be sacked by the Pianta and tossed into the harbor. Right
before he eats the durian, Mario kicks the Pianta in the head. The Pianta
and Mario get into a fistfight. Meanwhile, a loud roar is heard.
Yoshi hatches from his egg and with insane hungry rage beats the crud out
of the Pianta and eats the durian.
Mario: Why don't you ever hatch in the first place?
Yoshi: Me like getting food easy way before hatch. Besides, Yoshi no eat chili pepper to turn purple for job.
Mario: Wait there. I need to get Luigi.
Mario saves Luigi right before he drowns in his sack.
Luigi: Can I ride Yoshi?
Mario: Why not?
Yoshi goes over and sees Cheep Cheeps mockingly jumping up and down.
Yoshi: Punch me. I need to cough.
Doing so, Yoshi spits purple juice onto a Cheep Cheep.
Cheep: AAAAAAAHHH!!! PLATFORMITIS!
The Cheep Cheep turns into a platform,
which Yoshi jumps on. It moves to the construction equipment. They see
an alcove nearby with coconuts. Yoshi eagerly eats one and turns pink.
He spits on another Cheep Cheep, which turns into a platform going up.
They jump up to the top of the construction equipment
to find the yellow glowing thing mentioned
earlier is yellow magma stuff covering a flip grate into a cage concealing
a Shine Sprite. Yoshi spits on the magma and it dissipates. Luigi pounds
the flip grate and collects the Shine.
Mario: HAVE YOU GOT IT?
Luigi: YES! HANG ON BECAUSE WE WILL AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!
The Brothers are warped back to Delfino
