Mario and Luigi are heading for the lighthouse.
Mario: We gotta get to Gelato Beach, Luigi!
Luigi: But Mario, what's the big rush?
Mario: Smoothie break.
Luigi: Oh, goodie!
They jump into the M.
Pianta: You! Stop threatening me!
Mario: What?
Luigi: We just got here!
Pianta: Huh? That wasn't you?
Mario: Oh, it must be Shadow Mario!
Luigi: There he is!
Shadow Mario: !
Shadow Mario spots the Marios and runs off.
Mario: GET HIM.
Luigi runs after Shadow Mario.
Mario: Luigi! Wait for me!!
Mario eventually catches up with Luigi up the hill, but they lose sight of Shadow Mario.
Mario: Where'd he go?
Sandbird Man: My new bird is too small. I want to buy a bigger bird.
Mario: Look, man, you gotta stop thinkin' about that Sandbi-
Luigi: I saw a something jump into the air! It's him!
Mario and Luigi see Shadow Mario laughing at them. They try to spray him with water, but nothing happens. Finally, he starts running but trips.
Shadow Mario: Dang it! This ain't over!
Shadow Mario forms into his ball shape and disappears, leaving a Shine Sprite behind. Both Mario Bros. are extremely close to it and start running to it.
Mario: Mine!
Luigi: Mine! MinemineminemineMINE!
Luigi jumps to the Shine Sprite but he goes too high, falls off the ledge, gets plucked by a Cataquack, thrown into the water by an angry Pianta, and finally, a Cheep Cheep pulls him to the bottom of the ocean's surface. Mario then grabs the Shine Sprite and does the Shine Dance.
Mario: Wahoo!
Luigi: Onto the next- AAG!
The Cheep Cheep pulls him underwater
again.
