Mario and Luigi jump in the M on the lighthouse and appear in Gelato Beach. Mario runs off for a strange reason and Luigi follows him. Mario runs up the cliff around the tilted mirrors.
Luigi: Wait for me, Mario!
Mario stops and waters the Dune Bud in front of him. A staircase appears, going halfway into the sand. Mario squirts the wall at the bottom and reveals a picture of a Shine Sprite. A Shine Sprite appears in the colliseum above.
Luigi: How did you know that, Mario?
Mario: The player's guide!
Luigi: Obviously...
Mario reaches the Shine Sprite and does the Shine Dance.
Mario: Woohoo!
Luigi: *sob* On to the next Shine!
