Mario: So Luigi, where should we head-a to next?
Luigi: Umm... I dunno.
Mario: Well we have to think of somewhere.
Luigi looks at the Yoshi egg.
Luigi: I'll be right back...
Mario: Okie dokie.
A few minutes later, Mario is sitting around drinking a smoothie, when Luigi comes riding on Yoshi.
Mario: Hey! I wanted to ride Yoshi!
Yoshi: Yoshi prefer Luigi. He not so fat!
Mario: WHAT?!
Luigi: Hey Yoshi, let's go to Sirena Beach!
Yoshi: Oooh, okay!
Yoshi jumps up to the warp pipe with Mario holding onto his tail. He consumes the pineapple and hops inside. Afterwards, they land in Sirena Beach.
Luigi: Looks like another-a Shadow Mario episode.
Mario: How do you know?
Luigi: Just-a look at the title.
Mario: Good point...
Mario and Luigi walk up to the manager.
Manager: Mario? Didn't you just enter a minute ago?
Mario: Nah, it was a guy who framed me.
Manager: Oh...
The Mario Bros enter the hotel to see Shadow Mario painting on the wall.
Mario: You!
Shadow Mario sticks out his tongue and begins to run.
Luigi: Get him!
Mario and Luigi chase Shadow Mario around the room, making failed attempts at soaking him. Eventually, Mario trips and Luigi tumbles after him. Shadow Mario lifts his bottom eyelid and sticks out his tongue.
Mario: Hey!
Shadow Mario runs up the stairs.
Luigi: Get him!
Mario and Luigi run up the stairs, only to see several Shadow Marios before them.
Mario: Umm...
Luigi: Get him!
Mario: You've said that thrice in a row now.
Luigi: I know. Hehe...
Mario: ... Riiight...
FLUDD: It looks like someone is trying to fool us.
Luigi: What was-a your first clue?
Mario starts spraying a few Shadow Marios, but they turn into Boos.
Luigi: Well that'll explain it.
Mario and Luigi walk around until one of the Shadow Marios runs away.
Mario: You know, he was-a the only one to move-a...
Luigi: He must-a be the real one!
Mario and Luigi chase after the real Shadow Mario, ignoring several fake ones standing around. After several laps around the floor, stops for panting, and Boos turned back to normal, they finally soak Shadow Mario to the ground.
Shadow Mario: Grr... fine! I'll leave!
Shadow Mario disappears, leaving a Shine Sprite in his place.
Luigi: Good-a job, Mario! Now the sprite is MINE!!!
Mario: Hold on-a, Luigi.
Luigi: Eh?
Mario grabs the Shine Sprite and does the Shine Dance.
Luigi: ... HEY!!!
Mario: Onto the next Shine!
Luigi: That's MY line!
