Melodies Forever

By Teela Yoshi

Setting: Chaos Castle, Time: ???

"Wonderful job. Very sloppily done, but wonderful nonetheless. Haha..." Lord Chaos laughed loudly as he smiled an achieved smile. "And he thinks his minions are better? Hahahaha..." Lord Chaos then turned to Ribbon.

"My Lord, is this all you have to say to us? May we be dismissed?"

"Hm. Well, Tech, you can go. I've no reason to speak with you. Ribbon, however, I must talk to you about your battle back there. You almost failed me. And I've no use for failures." Ribbon then looked to the ground. Tech was walking away as he turned to look, knowing his friend was having a lot of problems then.

"Yes My Lord. Am I to be punished?" Ribbon sounded so sure he was going to get punished, but instead Lord Chaos just started to laugh.

"Haha... I wish. No, there is no reason to destroy one of my greater forces. If you got to work on it, you could become stronger. Learn how to control the beast of yours, and I'll send you on project Illusion." Chaos smiled a humble smile as Ribbon had a flare of happiness go through him.

"YES! AW MAN! TOTALLY AWESOME!!!" He was obviously way overdoing it because Chaos then walked over to him and grew larger. He picked Ribbon up by the shirt and practically strangled him.

"Don't do that."

"Y-Yes sir."

"Alright then. I'll send for you for your next mission shortly. Do well on this, and I might let you go on that project you were cheering for. Go gather your weapons, guns, swords, whatever and tell Tech that he is invited as well. This time, both of you fight. Got it?"

"Yes milord." Ribbon then turned to walk away. Chaos just stood there, looking satisfied once more.

"Almost time for my project to begin! It's almost ready... Haha..."

Outside...

"Wow, you're not killed? Am I speaking to a ghost or what?!" Tech laughed amusedly as Ribbon just smiled a misunderstood smile.

"I might even get a promotion. Cool, eh?" Ribbon asked, his voice straight and hard like concrete.

"You don't sound too enthusiastic."

"I got over-enthusiastic, and Lord Chaos told me to not do so. So I am to not get that overexcited. Well, I'm going to have to go on another mission. You're to go as well, and make sure you get your Astro Gun. That thing is powerful! Lord Chaos will be sending us both, and we are to both fight. I bet he's going to send us to finish off the scum that... that woman failed to do. Speaking of which, what happened to her?"

"She probably ended up dead. She just came to Lord Chaos out of the blue and all. She wanted something from him, and knowing Chaos, he probably finished her off in the end," Tech said, smiling while Ribbon looked sort of forlorn without a smile. Somewhere, he felt sorry for her.

"Don't you feel sorry for her? She died because of him!" Ribbon asked as Tech just slipped a hand on Ribbon's head.

"Are you feeling alright? Perhaps we should-"

"I'm fine." Ribbon then started to walk away as Tech just stared slightly.

"I wonder what's eaten him. A moment ago, he was somewhat happy. Must be a demon thing that I'll never understand." Tech then turned to follow Ribbon.

"By morning it will be too late..." Ribbon muttered as Tech started to catch up.

"What will be too late?" Ribbon looked really concerned.

"Are you sure your hearing is alright?"

"Yep. I have excellant hearing."

"I'm going to go visit that new one that joined our group recently." Ribbon hushed a little as he then looked around him as if the world was going to suddenly give way to him.

"That, sky dude?"

"His name is Skystice. And for your information, Chaos brought him back from the Pit of Deciet."

"Pit of Deciet?"

"It's more like a dimensional box that will hold one that has been imprisoned there. Lord Chaos completely built Skystice back up with memory and all. This guy still will forever have the broken chains on his ankles though."

"He built Sky back up?"

"IT'S SKYSTICE!"

"Touchy, touchy..." Tech smiled as he could see that Ribbon was getting angry. Ribbon then just strode away swiftly and silently. "Hey! Wait up, man!"

"Tech. Just... shut up!"

"I'm sorry, dude. Come on, we've got to stick together! It's our only chance of surviving this world."

"No it's not. Now as I was saying, the box thing was some sort of imprisonment Skystice was sentenced to long ago. He was punished by the Chains of Deciet, which Lord Chaos severed in order to awaken him. Then Lord Chaos completely erased his memory, and added only what he wanted Skystice to know."

"Skystice, eh?"

"Yeah. I wanted to go see him. Sounds like an interesting charactor."

"Alright. Let's go."

Chaos and Tech headed for a building that was a made out of bricks like the very few rooming cabins that were spread out in the forest around the castle.

Setting: Outside Chaos Castle, Time: 1:34 PM

"Where exactly on Plit are we?" Ludwig asked as they were all standing on the ground, quiet to make sure no one would hear them. Surprisingly, the castle was not busy with any guards and had little activity.

"No idea," Karma answered as she looked to Teela for the answer.

"This area looks very familiar." Venoma frowned as he looked around.

"Every rock, tree, and sound. It looks so familiar, I know I've been here before."

"Perhaps it is somewhere you've been in your time," Teela added as Chirpy flapped its wings in dizziness from the sudden disappearence and change from going to one place from another.

"I don't know where, and I really don't care. We have to get Vara back. Although, it'd be nice to know why they want her."

"And why does the fate of Plit depend on her now?"

"If I would have had time to explain earlier..." Teela took a deep breath as she sat down on a log that was nearby. "Karma and Ludwig, if you two die..." Teela looked a little confused as she put her head against her palms, "Bowser will destroy Plit. If Vara dies, Plit will be destroyed as well. This means I have to protect you, Ludwig, and Vara. Oh joy..."

"I didn't choose to have any sort of protection," Karma answered soberly as Ludwig nodded in agreement.

"WELL? MAYBE I SHOULD JUST GIVE IN THEN! PERHAPS WE SHOULD JUST LEAVE VARA HERE THEN?" Teela yelled as Venoma clasped a claw over her mouth.

"Shut up, Teela. Sorry for being rude, especially to you, but we need to keep it down. If I get too powerful or anxious, the dead will rise because of my unrestricted fang power. I know where we are. That castle, this land. Alright, I've got a confession."

Venoma then looked to the ground as he tapped his feet in a sort of pause.

"In the future, I'll live here. In this exact castle. I'm a prince of Yoshos. You don't want to come to my time, it's horrible! I'd love to stay here, but if I don't get home, they'll go through destroying every dimension for me. They'll hunt me down because I've run away before. Believe me, Ludwig has a much better life."

"It's alright, Venoma. For some reason, whatever questions that remain, Vara has something to do with this. Somebody here wants her-"

"That one lady said, before she shot Venoma with the poison, long live Lord Chaos," Ludwig interrupted as Teela looked to be piecing this all together.

"Alright. This Lord Chaos obviously wants Vara for something. Otherwise they wouldn't have sent a demon. They need her for something. Karma and Ludwig, you guys must be in this as well. Or perhaps you guys just have to survive."

"So? We have to survive. All of us. Got it?" Reema asked stubbornly as Karma nodded.

"Maybe we should split up?" Ludwig cautioned the idea, remembering all those scary movies in which they split up but end up getting killed.

"Yes. One group for information scouting, and another to retrieve Vara."

"Wait. I've got another thing to say." Teela remembered how Venoma had that fire in his eyes when he was fighting in that vision. "Vara must have ended up killed, becuase she wasn't in that final battle with my vision."

"Vision? What vision?" Reema asked, suddenly feeling lost.

"I had a vision from a fairy, alright?"

"That's possible. I've read about it."

"Whatever. Anyway, Vara might end up killed if we don't do this right. What if we weren't supposed to go at this later?"

"Teela, you worry too much," Karma scoffed as Teela glared, but then nodded because the idea would have no definite answer.

"Well then, let's go." Ludwig had a determined look that made everyone else a little shocked because he had been cowaring earlier.

"Yes, he's right. Let's go." Karma held up her fists and kicked into the air in a kung-fu motion.

"Yeah. I've got my sword, and my, bag? Why is that here?" Teela cautioned as she picked up her bag. It was the same as always, and she just picked up the Dice of Fate that were back inside the box. "I might want to take these. Alright, now we can go."

"I've got the axe," Ludwig said as he traded with Reema.

"Now I do. Everyone have their own weapons? We might not have time to change them once we get in. If they don't have that much security, they must not need it, if you know what I mean." Reema was slightly afraid as Teela smiled a dark smile.

"Break a leg!" Teela then paused as Reema scowled. "Literally."

"Wow, now look who is being cold," Karma commented as Teela smiled again.

"Hey, wait! We didn't decide who should split up," Venoma commented as Teela slapped her forehead.

"Geez, we're hopeless. We're all gonna die..." Teela then burst out laughing maniacally.

"You look happy about this..." Karma noted as Venoma tilted his head in confusion.

"Teela, are you feeling alright?"

"Yeah. I'm somewhat happy to do this! Just think, no pressure! If we die, Plit will get destroyed! If I die, you guys will all-"

"No we won't. We're not helpless."

"AHAHAH! This is going to be so much fun! No pressure at all! We're all going to die!" Teela laughed as she then started to cry.

"TEELA! PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER!" Ludwig hissed as he felt she was cursing them all. Karma then walked up to her, drew back her fist, and before Teela could realize it... she'd been punched. Teela then felt her face. It didn't hurt at all. Teela then drew back her fist, but Venoma stepped in the way.

"You aren't supposed to hurt your own team."

"Then why is she punching me?"

"Because you deserved it. Now either help us form a plan, or we decide you are mentally unstable." Venoma looked really concerned. Are you sure you're okay? That punch would have knocked somebody out.

I didn't feel it. Nothing at all.

You must be strong.

Something like that... If you want to call it that.

Alright. Make sure you and I are on the same team.

Nope.

B-But why?

Because.

Geez...

"Oh Earth to Teela and Venoma!" Karma said as Reema glared at Teela.

"Alright, Teela. We need two groups, one to scout out info and one to rescue Vara. Either you're in or you're out."

"Count me in."

"Me too." Venoma then put his hand in as everyone else did as well.

"Alright. I guess we should have one of our two strongest with each group."

"That'd be me," Ludwig squeeled in delight.

"In your dreams, Koopa boy," Reema said as she looked at Karma.

"Me? No, I think it'd be Teela. She withstood that punch, and it was one of my harder ones."

"No, Karma. You can fight well. And Venoma, he can, well, I don't know..." Teela objected as she tried to state something about Venoma. She didn't want to be classified as the stronger one...

"No, you've more powers than me. And I used to undergo a certain training, with knives, and rifles, and-"

"We get it. Yours aren't as developed. Anyway, we'll send two good at fighting, and the rest will either stay right here or go look for information." Reema seemed to have taken command as Teela then stepped up, herself wanting to lead.

"Alright, Karma and Ludwig will be with our strongest. Who would that be?" Everyone then turned to Teela, who had just spoken and pictured Reema being the strongest. " N-No, that, you guys, I?" Teela stammered as she seemed so confused.

"Yes. You defeated Reema, you withstood Karma's punch, your laser light thingies can probably cut through my claws, and-"

"I get it. But I only could defeat the bigger monsters with you guys' help. There is no way I can take on thousands of people at once," Teela admitted as she looked around.

"How about you and Reema go?" Ludwig suggested as Teela backed away.

"No way, no how, never," Reema blurted as she crossed her arms.

"I'll go with Teela," Karma suggested as Teela shook her head.

"Yes. Karma and I have worked together in some tough situations." Teela grinned as she looked at Karma. Karma shot a smile right back at her as they gave each other a high paw-claw.

"So that leaves the rest of us." Ludwig agreed as he liked the idea of Karma and Teela working with each other.

"Venoma. Promise me that you'll protect Ludwig. You'd better, or so help me I'll... do something really bad." Teela looked a little cross when she said that.

"I'd like to see you try and hurt me. Haha, you, me. In a battle, that'd be funny."

"Venoma, she wouldn't dare hurt you. Me, on the other hand, if Ludwig gets killed, so does Karma. I'll rip your guts out," Reema commented as Venoma just blinked.

"I'm the strongest here?"

"No, I am as well. We're the information team, and so I guess it's both of-"

"It's nobody's job to protect anyone. My job is to protect Karma, and if perhaps we screwed time up, maybe Ludwig will get killed. Yet he can protect himself. I order you guys to not get into fights if at all possible. I don't want to attract any attention, or anything else for that matter. Are we clear?" Teela talked as if she was a military leader,  but everyone understood. They had really no experience at anything they were doing, and that could mean disaster. Teela then took a deep breath as she then started to speak again.

"And if all else fails, I'll think of something. One more thing. If you're not sure of something, don't do it." All nodded, even Reema. They understood that this was risky, but they had some sort of feeling of hope. Even if it were a small type of hope, they would do what they could.

"Alright. Any idea where to go, Venoma? You said you're eventually going to live here, although I highly doubt you're evil." Teela laughed as Venoma fidgeted.

They don't listen to anything, do they? Venoma thought to himself as he twisted his arm slightly to loosen up a bit. I'll survive for one thing.

What's that?

I'll survive for you.

Teela then turned away, feeling a little weird as she grabbed her sword cautiously.

Am I doing the right thing? Teela questioned as she wondered what they were going to do if she failed. It would be her fault if they failed, her fault if Plit ended. "I refuse to die," Teela said simply, trying not to go overboard with worry again.

"Or are you just dilirious?" Reema questioned as Teela turned towards Karma.

"Whatever happens out there, Karma, if I don't make it, I want you to run. I want you to run like there will be tomorrow, and rescue Vara by all means possible. Will you promise me this? And you?" Teela looked to Venoma as he looked so embarrased.

"I promise I will protect Ludwig. Teela, I want you to promise me something as well." Venoma smiled as Teela was hoping he wasn't going to say what she thought he was.

"No, if it has to do with what you said earlier, no."

"Not that. I'm still young you dodo. Now, promise me..." He then paused as he walked over to her and hugged her. "Promise me you won't die."

"I-I-I promise." Teela said as she hugged him as well. He felt so warm compared to herself, and she felt protected in his arms. Everyone rolled their eyes as Karma then smiled, jokes and ideas forming insults inside her head. She then pushed them out of her head, thinking about if she lived or died in the next hour.

"I promise I will survive, Teela. You should only worry about if nothing happens!" Karma was trying to calm Teela down. Yet Karma couldn't even imagine all the things racing through Teela's head right then.

"I have a good idea you refuse to die more than I do. Yet for right now, I'm going to live so I can protect you and Plit. I don't want you dead, and I love the land I'm standing on." Teela then held her blade in hand. She faced a tree, imagining it was Reema...

Teela charged towards the tree as she leaped up, pointed her sword, and stabbed into the tree.

"What is she doing?" Ludwig asked as Karma put her hands behind her neck.

"Getting a better view," Karma answered simply as Ludwig seemed dumbfounded.

Teela had placed her sword deep into the tree as she pulled herself up with the handle of it. She leaped up into the branches, careful not to lose her balance.

"Karma, jump. If any soldiers walk by, this is the method I'm using. You can grab my hands, and then I can pull you up. Got it?" Teela held her hands up against the bright sun. She hadn't seen the sun this bright in what seemed forever. Either that or she had never really noticed...

Karma jumped a little, not having much luck with a Yoshi jump. Teela then held her hand out a little farther, the muscles straining to stretch even further. Karma jumped and Teela seized her hand and pulled her up into the tree. They glanced up at the sun, Karma seeming dazzled by its appearance.

"Wow! The sun! I can't believe it... The sun, with its full glow. The glow stretching over the horizon as if it existed for just the natural light. It might even be our symbol of hope, Teela!" Karma squeeled as Teela then grabbed her by the arm and transported back down. She jumped up and grabbed her sword out, having a hard time with the first few tugs.

"If that's enough stalling, let's go then," Venoma said as he started to walk away, Teela wondering what they would do when this was all over.

"Well, Karma. Where do you think we should go?"

"I thought you'd know!" Karma laughed as Teela started to walk towards the castle.

"Well, then I'm just going to be sneaky." She then started to run, Karma wondering where she went.

"Teela? How? Where? Wha?"

"I'm right here," Teela said, floating above Karma's head. Karma just started to laugh as Teela smiled.

"At least we can still have fun whie we're going to do this," Karma grunted as Teela thought for a moment.

"Personally, I'm going to get in and get out. Perhaps you should wait in that tree."

"No. You said, if you don't make it, which you will, get Vara back with all cost." Karma smiled, using Teela's words agianst her. Teela scowled lightly as she then headed away from the clearing. In one of her sweaty fists she held the Dice of Fate, and in the other, her blade, which would hopefully protect her this time as well.

Setting: Chaos Castle Lab, Time: ???

"Yo! Can we please see this rumored Skystice dude?" Tech yammered as Ribbon rolled his eyes. The two were inside that brick building with two scientists that were running around crazily.

"Yes! HE'S GONE INSANE!" one yelled, grabbing Tech by the shirt. Tech pushed him off as Ribbon ran into the next room. He emerged into the room to find a demonic figure shooting blasts of energy towards the walls, which were being obliterated.

"DIE!!!" the figure yelled as he threw several energy blasts at Ribbon.

Ribbon dodged as he then realized this figure wanted a fight, and that's exactly what he was going to give him...

Ribbon pulled out something that was attached to his shirt. A ribbon lay in his palms as he held it between his hands, which were crossed as if he were praying. He ripped it off of his shirt, wondering why he existed for a purpose anyway...

"Eating vortex of hatred, hear my plee. I call forth to devour souls for me. Grant me thy strength, and let though foe perish." His ribbon then seemed to burn with light as he held it up, two fingers aligned on his forehead as if he were trying to read minds. He held it out in front of him as it straightened. He then smiled a charming smile as he whipped it around playfully. "Seal my fate!"

A black vortex appeared as he kept whipping the ribbon around in a circle. The demonic figure seemed to be smiling as he watched this impressive performence. Ribbon continued to whip the ribbon around and around as the room darkened, and a type of electricity was rushing up all over the place. The electricity was basically harmless because it just bounced off of things, but the cause was that the air could not adapt to such energy suddenly being ripped. Ribbon smiled once more, himself really enjoying this. The air then ripped apart, a black hole emerged from the rip in the time and air space. It began to grow as it started to suck everything in. The ribbon striaghtened out as Ribbon then felt a pain surge through his leg and up into his lungs. He let out a cry of pain as the demonic figure began laughing maniacally.

"H-How?!" Ribbon questioned as he looked up to the figure. Ribbon was now sinking to his knees, the black hole still being held out in front of him.

"I'm not the cause. I'm just enjoying this ensamble of ancient demonic arts. Of course, I am a true demon, so I really am envious. But, you are weak compared to me."

"Y-You really think you can beat me?" Ribbon asked as he stood back up and his entire body began to shake. "AHHH! NOT NOW! THIS IS TOO EARLY!"

"W-What is this? You say you can defeat me when you're hurting yourself? What is the cause of this?"

Tech finally decided Ribbon needed his help, so he stopped leaning agianst the wall and tossed an orange floppy disk to him. Ribbon gave a slight thumbs up as his body trembled horribly.

"I CALL FORTH NATCHURA!!!" Ribbon yelled as he called forth the beast. The wolf beast looked around and realized Ribbon was in pain, so he nodded.

"Now you really need me. If you would have listened to me, you could have avoided this. Your life is too short to have yourself waste it this way. It's a waste of time to be here."

"W-WE'LL TALK LATER! IF I MANAGE TO TAKE THIS PAIN! AHHHEERRR!!!" Ribbon had his body briefly change into a black demon-like creature as he then turned back to normal. "ERRR! NO! I'M LOSING! IT'S TOO STRONG!" Ribbon then held up the black hole that was still growing larger, his energy still splurging.

"Alright. Let's do this, before it's to late," Natchura, or Natch, the wolf creature, said as it turned towards the other figure that smiled. Natchura's wings were flapping lightly as he swiped a paw in the air, a streak of the air itself beginning to form a wild tornado. The room began to rip apart as Ribbon fell to the ground. His black hole magic was about to get him when Tech grabbed him and pulled him away.

"It's alright. I'm here, man. Whatever you're going through, I'm going to help." Tech then reached under the black hole as it began to pull him in. Earlier Ribbon had been twirling it around, the ribbon in control. But Ribbon himself controlled the little cloth ribbon. Tech reached as he manage to grab it. Instead of stopping, it grew worse. "HOW DO YOU STOP THIS THING?" Tech then felt himself being picked up by Natchura, Ribbon was in the other paw. They started to fly through the roof, a little too sloppily.

"Forget about it. It should end in a few moments after Ribbon is knocked out for awhile," the wolf spoke as he flew up high. He then began to roar wildly as it begun to rain fire against the building, and only the building.

"Wow..." was the only think Tech managed to say.

"That's true power for you," the wolf said as the building then blew up from the chemicals located within it.

"Alright, I think we can stop now. We better hope we didn't... nah, Lord Chaos says that if they die then they are weak. If we managed to kill that dude, who I think was Skystice, then we would surely get the project."

"Huh..." Natchura grunted in annoyance from hearing someone talking about evil in such a pleased way. He then flew towards the ground, his feathers sometimes falling to the ground. Oddly enough, they just disappeared when this happened.

"Ribbon? Come on! You still got a few more battles in you! Fight, man, fight!" Tech said as he lightly smacked Ribbon in the face. Natchura stood over him, and grunted.

"He'll be fine. Goodbye."

"Where's that floppy disk?"

"Right by Ribbon. It returns to him when he summons me. Fortunately for him, he then doesn't have to go looking for it after the battle." Natchura then began degrading into a thousand particles of light that surrounded the floppy disk, and disappeared.

"Wow. He's got a secret power mine right by his side... I wonder where I can get one." Tech smiled as he then heard a rustle in the bushes...

_

Time: 2:23 PM

"SHH!" Teela whispered as she moved the bushes aside. "There's one of the guys that took Vara! And there's the other guy we fought. His arm sure looks bloody," Teela whispered as she looked to Karma.

"Teela? I think he's found us. And that building that blew up, the one we heard and saw, has another figure emerging." Karma pointed to that demonic figure that Ribbon had been yelling at and fighting earlier.

"So what if he's found us? Remember, I can teleport." Teela smiled as Tech then walked over to them. Teela then grabbed Karma's arm and closed her eyes. They appeared on the top of a tree without any noise.

"Woah... I feel dizzy," Karma commented as Teela put a hand over her mouth. Teela was smiling becase Tech was looking all over the bush.

"Hey you! Whoever you are, your friend here needs to be awakened," the demonic figure grumbled, still smiling an achieved smile.

"H-HOW DID YOU SURVIVE THAT?" Tech stuttered, seeing the figure's clothes were only tarnished, some having been burnt off completely.

"Easily, of course. I am Skystice, Burning Demon of Deciet."

"So? And I am Tech, master of guns, and other things."

"I see. Who is this? The stupid one who was hurting himself?"

"HE'S NOT STUPID! IT'S NOT HIS FAULT!" Tech shouted as a figure materialized out of thin air.

"Tech, Ribbon, and my latest, Skystice. Why are you all fighting dangerously near my castle? I have to say I am proud of what Ribbon did. Give credit to him for that incredible array of power when he wakes up. Yet why are you all still fighting?" Lord Chaos asked, his charming eyes misleading what he was really thinking.

"Lord Chaos, I'm sorry. Ribbon and I were going to see this rumored Skystice who was destroying the place when we got there."

"I was bored," Skystice said plainly as Lord Chaos laughed.

"Haha! That was some impressive power though. Tell Ribbon, well, when he wakes up of course, that he's gotten on project Illusion. You and Skystice as well. I'd like to see the village under your rule."

"T-Thanks a lot," Ribbon piped up as he tried to sit up, but the pain shot up into his head and he fell to the ground once more. Ribbon had been smiling as Skystice held out the cloth ribbon that Ribbon had been using. It was not damaged in any way, and it seemed as if nothing had ever happened. Skystice let go of it as it slowly fell onto Ribbon's chest.

"Alright then. You'd better rebuild my entire lab, Skystice." Lord Chaos had a dark, yet somewhat still charming, smile on his face as Skystice grew angry.

"WHAT? Me? Aren't they going to have to help too?" Skystice yelled, his blood red skin on his arms  gleaming as he waved them wildly.

Skystice was a full-blooded demon, a rare one at that. His body was almost considered human, but his skin was blood red. His hair was a purple, and his outfit was a white vest and his pants were black. His shirt was a grayish color. His vest had a black streak all the way down it, and anyone could tell that this was some sort of sign of good and evil. Too bad that it should have been the opposite; It should have been a black vest with a white streak...

His nails were pointy, and he had a scar across his hand. The scar was the symbol Lord Chaos always left when he went on a mission himself, a large upside down triangle. What really set Skystice apart from other creatures were the two shackles around his ankles. The shackles had a bunch of ancient symbols, and a severed chain.

"If you don't, I'll destroy you. I brought you back, I can finish you. If it weren't for me, your body would have been eradicated in another year, your soul being lost in a world of nothing."

"Alright, okay. I'll rebuild your stinkin' shack..." Skystice said as he turned around and rolled his eyes.

"I should have rebuilt you with more respect and loyalty for me. No bother, anyhow. Tech, I expect that Ribbon already told you about that mission earlier?"

"Um, yes Lord Chaos. What is it?"

"Well, remember the worthless garbage you stole the girl from?" Lord Chaos smiled, his eyes gleaming. Karma growled under her breath from being called garbage.

"Yes? The ones Ribbon almost lost to because he was being stupid?"

"Exactly. Well, they're here. I want you to get you and your fleet to go after each and every one of them. Don't kill, leave them barely living, and then bring them to me. Wait, never mind. I want you to go and get the Yoshi girl. Don't kill her, bring her directly to me. That will attract the rest of the flies." Lord Chaos was thinking as his face showed an evil look. One looking at him could tell he was evil to the bone just by looking into his eyes.

"You mean the hybrid?"

"No. I mean the Yoshi girl. She has two fangs, and the rest of her is normal. Bring her to me, alive." Chaos then turned, but paused. "And make it quick."

"Yes sir." Tech then looked to Ribbon. He walked over and picked him up. Tech looked as though he was going to collapse because Ribbon wasn't exactly a feather. He began to walk as Skystice walked over to him and picked Ribbon up with one hand. "HEY! DON'T HURT HIM!"

"Relax, bro. I'm helping." Tech then started to lead him back to the rooming cabin.

"Hm... Let's follow them!" Teela whispered as she grabbed Karma's arm, and they trasported down to the ground. "After all, we're their mission now, so let's take 'em out!!!"

"Um... Alright" Karma said as they began to follow Tech, Ribbon, and Skystice through the bushes. Teela was very pleased to see that neither she nor Karma made any noise when walking, and that took a lot of practice to do.

Time: 2:23 PM

"Where would we be able to get information?" Venoma asked as Reema looked clueless.

"A computer," Ludwig answered simply.

"Alright. I guess we should check out a building?" Reema asked as Venoma thought for a moment.

"I don't know. I get outside once in awhile in my time."

"Well then. I vill let my computer senses lead ze way," Ludwig replied, his accent obviously being heard...

"Don't talk that way, please," Reema told him. He looked a bit bitter because he liked to talk that way.

"What did you say?" Venoma asked as he suddenly pulled them back into the shadows, hearing voices.

"Heh, yeah. I heard that the almighty Ribbon almost lost to a bunch of kids! HAHAHA!" a deep voice boasted as Venoma watched him flex his muscle stupidly.

"Yeah, what a stupid move. Lord Chaos should get rid of him. They should have sent our party on the group! I mean, Tech and Ribbon? They may be friends, but sometimes they're complete idiots. Especially since they're working together," a lighter voice said, although still male.

"And did you hear about that one women who joined recently? Lord Chaos killed her, right?"

"Yeah. I saw them burrying her. Rumor had it that she knew about Lord Chaos's past. If I'm correct,  she wanted something for doing a job. Rule number whatever, you either do what Lord Chaos says, or you get killed," the deep voice bellowed, still flexing his muscles.

"Watch this," Venoma whispered as he then started to glow a yellow color. The ground beneath the figures that were speaking began to shake violently as Venoma resisted laughing at the two human men's faces. They looked like a bunch of idiots...

"W-WHAT THE-"

"SHUT UP AND RUN!!!" the lighter voice screamed as he began to run.

"I don't think so," Venoma whispered, grinning a very wide and noticable grin as the two began glowing a yellow color.

The two stupid men began to float upwards as Venoma started to laugh out loud. They turned and looked as at the exact same time, Venoma made them go higher up and he turned them around to have their heads facing the ground.

"Are you trying to kill them?" Reema asked, a concerned look on her face.

"Got your answer?"

"Y-Yes..." Ludwig replied, rubbing his knee in pain. Venoma still had the people floating up in the air, twirling magnificantly. He then paused, turning them on their sides. They then went up a little higher and went speeding towards the ground as Venoma started to laugh again. They then stopped about an inch away from the ground. Both were screaming as they both started to float up once more.

"That's my idea of fun. I actually used to do that to the castle guards in my time..."

"Right. So let's go bound and gag them!" Reema shouted with glee at the thought, as Venoma and Ludwig looked at her like she was crazy.

"Umm, for information purposes. Yeah, that's out job. Information purposes."

"Okay... Let's go interrogate them at least," Ludwig said as he emerged from the bush. The gash right below his lung wasn't bandaged anymore, and it looked as if someone had cut a huge hole inside of him. It had stopped bleeding though.

"Let me do the talking." Reema smiled as she felt her axe's blade slightly. She then followed Ludwig as Venoma rolled his eyes and followed the other two. He cautiously looked around, and continued.
