Luigi: Hey! My GBH is buzzing!
Waluigi: So is mine!
As it turns out, the GBH with its intelligent dungeon map system is showing which room the key goes to, and of course, it is the hallway connected to the Parlor.
Luigi: I have a horrible feeling that it is going to be dark in there.
His hunch is correct... Obviously. What kind of game would this be if the whole mansion lit up after catching five ghosts?! The instant the Luigis (HA! New word!) enter, they hear some freaky noise and the door behind them seals itself with vines.
Waluigi: WAH! I'm afraid of "being trapped" sounds!
Luigi: You know, I feel the same way.
Purple Puncher and Gold Ghost: BWAWAWAWAWAWAAWAWAWAAA!!!
Waluigi easily sucks up the Gold Ghost. Luigi attempts to step backwards to avoid the Purple Puncher's punch, but it uppercuts farther than he expected, so he takes 10 damage.
Luigi (90): Ouch! Hey! It is getting away with my coins!
Waluigi attempts to suck this ghost up, but slips and only does 10 damage to its 20 Ghost Points. The Purple Puncher returns, and Luigi and Waluigi simultaneously grab it and catch it.
Puncher (0): AAAAAGGGHHH! THE PAIN OF BEING PULLED APART!!!
After a few more ghosts, the lights come on. Luigi collects some treasure from some vases. I think I'll just assume he found a heart because I want the next part to start with fully refreshed heroes. Anyhow, the vines on the two doors in the room dissapear. Obviously, since this is an adventure, the Luigis are obliged to go through the door on the gamer's left which they hadn't explored yet.
Waluigi: Um... Mr. Gamewriter, I'm getting nervous here... I'm afraid of inconsistencies and why didn't we like usual get a key to open a door like so far with the exception of the mansion entry?
Some Ghostly Voice: We were lazy. We
didn't have the time to make so many locks, so move on before we lose our
temper because we are WAITING FOR YOU! GWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
