Luigi and Evil Luigi are currently in the Anteroom. They have just caught Uncle Grimmly and found the key to the Breaker Room, which is the place they’re heading to right now.
Evil Luigi: Dang! I get so little respect to the point of not being called by my own name!
Luigi: Shut up! I see ghosts approaching!
Evil Luigi: I’ll take care of them!
Evil Luigi tries to point his flashlight at the approaching ghosts, but the light suddenly disappears.
Evil Luigi: What?! WHY DO THOSE STUPID BATTERIES ALWAYS DIE OUT IN THE WORST SITUATIONS?!
The ghosts start pummeling Evil Luigi.
Evil Luigi: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Ghosts: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Luigi: Don’t worry, Evil Luigi! I’ll save you! Gosh, that sounded awkward...
Luigi flashes the ghosts and vacuums them up with ease. Evil Luigi, then, falls on the floor.
Luigi: Are you okay?
Evil Luigi: Since when do you have three heads?
Evil Luigi faints.
Luigi: Ugh!
Luigi takes a red jewel from his pockets and puts it in front of Evil Luigi’s nose. He suddenly wakes up and picks up the jewel.
Evil Luigi: Where’ve you been all this time, my precious? Heheh...
Evil Luigi starts kissing the jewel.
Luigi: That would’ve been beautiful if it wasn’t so disgustingly sick!
Evil Luigi: Shut up!
Red Jewel: Yeah!
Luigi: 0_0
Evil Luigi puts the jewel in one of his pockets and they resume their trip to the Breaker Room. A similar situation from before happens in the Parlor, but Luigi decides to wake up Evil Luigi with the water stored in his Poltergust. They reach the Foyer and walk through the door to the Hallway on the first floor.
Evil Luigi: I’ll lead!
Luigi: You’re really desperate for some respect, aren’t you?
Evil Luigi: Yeah! I’ll show those ghosts that Evil Luigi fears nothing!
Luigi: (He obviously doesn’t even respect himself...)
Evil Luigi takes a step forward and trips on an incoming bowling ball.
Evil Luigi: (while falling to the floor): WOAH!!! *Thump*
Bowling Ghost: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
The Bowling Ghost vanishes.
Evil Luigi: Why do those things always happen with me?! I don’t wanna lead anymore! WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!
Luigi: (And that’s supposed to be my evil counterpart...)
Luigi goes ahead while Evil Luigi follows him. Our protagonists find a door at the end of the hallway.
Luigi: “Protagonists”?
It was the best thing I could come up with. Besides, the word “heroes” doesn’t really fit with you guys at all.
Luigi: ...
Evil Luigi: Lemme open the door!
Luigi: Go ahead! But try not to embarrass yourself again this time.
Evil Luigi: Relax! It’s just a door...
Evil Luigi opens the door and gets attacked by a swarm of Ghost Bats.
Evil Luigi: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!
Evil Luigi tries to run back to the hallway, but trips on another bowling ball.
Evil Luigi: Not again! WOAH!!! *Thump*
The Bowling Ghost laughs and vanishes. The Ghost Bats do the same. Luigi comes in.
Luigi: You know, I admire your efforts to bring some humor to this place, but your reputation as a bad dude is gonna get ruined that way. (Or is it already?)
Evil Luigi: Shut up!
They go back to the door at the end of the hall and enter the door to the basement stairs.
Evil Luigi: I’m going ahead!
Luigi: I’m not stopping you.
Evil Luigi takes some steps forward in the darkness and falls down the stairs.
Evil Luigi: Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!
Evil Luigi reaches the end of the stairs.
Evil Luigi: YOU KNEW ABOUT THIS, DIDN’T YOU?!
Luigi: No! (Heheh...)
Luigi walks down the stairs and they proceed forward until they find some doors.
Luigi: The Breaker Room is right there!
Luigi unlocks the door with the key he found after the battle with Uncle Grimmly. They proceed by entering the room.
Evil Luigi: What now?
Luigi: We just need to pull that lever over there.
Waluigi: That’ll be easier than what I expected.
Ten Blue Ghosts appear in the room.
Evil Luigi: I mean... this looks quite hard!
The Blue Ghosts disappear.
Luigi and Evil Luigi: Phew!
Luigi vacuums up the Mouse Ghosts in the way while Evil Luigi pulls the lever. The power in the mansion is restored and a chest appears.
Waluigi: Let me guess. It’s another key.
Luigi (after opening the chest): Yep!
Waluigi: Hey! The writer is calling me by my name again! I guess I finally got some respect here!
Not really. I was just tired of typing “Evil Luigi” all the time.
Waluigi: ...
Luigi: Dang! I just remembered something from the strategy guide!
Waluigi: Strategy guide?
Luigi: Yeah! It mentioned something about Money Ghosts in the Conservatory, Nursery, and Hidden Room! But we can’t get them now with the lights on!
Waluigi: Money Ghosts?! You mean the ones that give you a lot of cash when caught?
Luigi: Yep.
Waluigi: $_$
Waluigi walks up to the lever and turns off the power.
Luigi: Huh?!
Waluigi: Wait here until I’m back!
Waluigi leaves the room in a hurry and comes back thirty minutes later with lots of money.
Luigi: Don’t tell me you went after the Money Ghosts with the power off and those random ghosts?!
Waluigi: I did!
Luigi: You’re crazy!
Waluigi: I know!
Waluigi takes a diamond from his pocket and kisses it.
Luigi: *sigh*
Luigi turns on the power again and they
both leave the room.
