The Luigi Cousins have just finished defeating the Clockwork Soldiers.
Luigi: That was fun.
The duo go up the elevator and see some Shy Guy ghosts.
Luigi: Waluigi, wait here, I have an idea!
Luigi heads down the elevator while Waluigi cowers in fear.
Waluigi: It’s okay; it’s not like the ghosts will attack me because it’s one of their rituals…
Shy Guy Ghost 1: Now that our fire is lit…
They all look at Waluigi.
Shy Guy Ghost 1: Let’s get him!
The ghosts all chase Waluigi, who starts running frantically. Soon, a Scooby-Doo chase sequence starts with holes in chimneys replacing doors. The chase goes like this.

1: Waluigi runs into 1, two ghosts run into 1, one ghost runs into 2, one ghost runs into 3, and two ghosts run into 4.

3: One ghost runs out of 2 and into 1.
4: All six ghosts run out of 4, and Waluigi runs out of 3, sees the ghosts, and runs into 2, followed by the ghosts.
5: Four ghosts run out of 4 and two of the ghosts run into 3, one ghost runs into 1, and the remaining ghost runs into 2.
6: Waluigi runs out of 2, followed by one ghost, and runs into 1, the ghost going into 3.
7: Waluigi runs back out of 1, followed by five ghosts, and they all go into 4.
8: Waluigi runs out of 1 again and is about to enter 3, when he turns and runs into 2, followed by a ghost.
9: One ghost runs out of 1, another ghost runs out of 4, the two ghosts run into each other and apologize, then the ghost that came out of 1 runs into 4, and the ghost that ran out of 4 runs into 1.
10: Waluigi runs out of 3 and out of the chase sequence, followed by all 6 ghosts.
Waluigi collapses out of exhaustion and is just about to get maimed by the ghosts, but they all get sucked in at the last minute by a black device, and are stored in Luigi’s poltergust 3000.
Luigi: I got E. Gadd’s Poltergust 3000 3 and combined it with a bomb to make a Poltergust Bomb.
Two ice ghosts appear. Waluigi uses a fire ghost from the Shy Guy ghosts’ ritual to burns them the ice ghosts and suck them up. The roof lights up and a chest appears on the left chimney, where the chase sequence took place. Luigi goes up and gets a key from it.
Waluigi: I wonder if there’s anything on the right chimney…
The team go up on the right chimney and start falling!
Luigi and Waluigi: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!
Alternate Version!!

this episode because this episode was not properly linked when the alternate
version was submitted. It wouldn't have been fair for the second
author to have wasted his time over not being able to know this episode

Area 4: Brighten the Roof

Luigi and Waluigi step in the playhouse.
It starts going upwards.
Luigis: Mamamia!
It stops on the roof, where there is
a campfire.
Waluigi: Nuttin’. Let’s go order pizza!
Luigi: Hey look! I see money beside
the campfire.
Waluigi: WHERE?!
Waluigi dashes to the fire.
Luigi: Whoops, I didn’t.
Waluigi: … Very funny.
Waluigi begins to walk away, but he
gets stabbed by a Shy Ghost.
Waluigi: Ow! That hurt, Luigi!
Luigi: What, it was a joke!
Waluigi: No, I mean when you stabbed
me just now!
Luigi: … I didn’t.
Waluigi: Yes you did!
Waluigi gets stabbed again.
Waluigi: Ow! Stop it!
Luigi: … Waluigi, you’re looking right
at me. I’M NOT MOVING.
Waluigi: … *gulp*
Luigi: … *gulp*
The Luigis turn around and see Shy
Ghosts.
Luigis: WAAAAAAAH!
3 Shy Ghosts chase Luigi while the
other three chase Waluigi. Then, both of them bump into a Flash.
Luigis: YIPE!
The Luigis continue running around,
each being chased by 3 Shy Ghosts and 1 Flash. Eventually Waluigi falls
into the campfire and scares a Fire Elemental Ghost out.
Waluigi: Aha!
Waluigi sucks the ghost up and burns
the Flash’s ice heart.
Waluigi: Take that, you ghastly ghost!
Flash: … That’s all you could think
of?
Waluigi shrugs and sucks the Flash
up. Just as he finishes, he gets stabbed.
Waluigi: Ow! … Whoops, forgot the Shy
Ghosts.
Waluigi continues getting chased and,
while trying to burn up his Shy Ghosts (which doesn’t work), accidentally
burns up Luigi’s Flash.
Flash: I’m mellllltiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing…
meeeeeellltinnnnnngggg… MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELllltiinggggg...
Luigi then sucks up a Shy Ghost’s mask.
Shy Ghost: EEEEK! How RUDE!
Shy Ghost begins to fly away, but Waluigi
catches it with his Poltergust.
Shy Ghost: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEK! Let me
go, you monster!
Waluigi lets go of it.
Shy Ghost: Stop calling me it,
I’m a GIRL!
Oh. Shy Ghost gets away and grabs a
new mask. However…
Waluigi: MAMAMIA!
Waluigi runs in circles as Shy Ghost
chases him with her own Poltergust.
Shy Ghost: Take that! Yah! Yah!
Luigi laughs.
Luigi: Here, *giggle*, let me *laugh*
help you!
Luigi sucks Shy Ghost’s mask off.
Shy Ghost: How RUDE!
Waluigi sucks Shy Ghost up.
Shy Ghost: No faaaaaair…
Shy Ghost disappears and a chest appears.
Waluigi: … Money?
Luigi opens it.
Luigi: Nope, just a key.
Waluigi: Sheesh. No money…
Luigi: Well, sorry.
Luigi grabs the key.
Luigi: The Armory. Let’s-a go!
Luigi runs towards the elevator.
Waluigi: Wait!
Luigi trips and falls, then gets up.
Luigi: What?!
Waluigi: I smell… *sniff, sniff*… MONEY!
This way!
Luigi: Come on!
Waluigi climbs up the ladder to the
chimney. His eyes are closed, as he’s trying to smell. Luigi notices what’s
happening.
Luigi: Mamamia, Waluigi, don’t!
Luigi grabs on to Waluigi’s shoes and
the two tumble down the chimney.
