A fury of orange displays on the screen, until "24-Up" is shown. Mario's words, as he says them, appear onscreen.
Mario: The following takes place between 6:00 PM, and 7:00 PM. *words shatter* Events occur in real time.
The camera pans over the Mushroom Kingdom, in all its glory. The camera shifts to a three block screen, one with the city, one with an alley, and one with a Koopa going through the alley.
Koopa: I'm gonna be late...
The koopa is taking up the screen. He turns to a door, and steps in. Two blocks are then on the screen, one with the Koopa, and one with the inside.
Ganondorf: You're late!
Koopa: I know, I know...
Ridley: Did you bring the package?
Koopa: Of course.
He pulls out a large box, labeled: "WARNING! DO NOT EAT CONTENTS!"
Ganondorf: Ah. Yes.
He snaps his fingers, and an Octorok takes the box.
Koopa: Ahem.
They ignore him.
Koopa: AHEM! There is the matter of my pay.
Ganondorf: Ah... Something came up. We have to give you something different.
Koopa: WHAT CAME UP?!
Ganondorf: I stopped caring.
He pulls out a sword, and decapitates said Koopa.
Ridley: Heh heh heh.
Ganondorf: Now. On to business...
The screen shifts to two blocks, one of the people talking, and the other of a house, with a pipe protruding out of it. It is the house of Mario, and he and Daisy are sitting, playing chess.
Mario: Check.
Daisy: (under breath) Dang.
Mario: Heh.
Daisy puts her King in a different position. Mario captures her Queen with his Rook.
Daisy: Argh! Prepare...
She puts her Bishop in a winning position.
Daisy: ...for my Checkmate.
Mario: Huh? Duh... Guh... Buh! You win.
Daisy: What do I win?
Mario: I don't know. An earlier bedtime?
Daisy: NO!
Mario: Hahahah!
The phone rings.
Mario: Hang on. *answers it* Mario.
Metaknight: Mario, it's Metaknight. We need you back here, at CKU. ASAP.
Mario: What? Now?
Metaknight: Yes. Kirby is here.
Mario: Niigh... All right. *hangs up* Honey, I have to go.
Daisy: *sigh* Do you have to?
Mario: It's urgent.
Daisy: Fine...

*A ship lands in the parking lot, in Onett. Two Toads, two Hylian Soldiers, and two Bounty Hunters bail out. A brown boot clatters onto the ground. The camera pans up, to show who it belongs to. It is Link.
Bounty Hunter: What are your orders?
Link: Squad one, engage the enemy. Squad two, move to the back. Let's go.
He pulls out his sword, and runs to the door.
Link: Planting door breach.
He places a bomb on the door, and takes cover. It destroys it completely.
Link: Attack! Attack!
He swings sword, and hits a Koopaist.
Bounty Hunter: Argh! I'm hit! I- unh!
The hunter got hit by a Koopa shell.
Link: Man down!
He parries a sword monster, grabs its arm, and slashes it off. He then delivers a blow to its belly.
Link: Tango down!
Toad: I need assistance!
Link: I'm on it.
He fires an arrow at a Koopaist.
Toad: Thanks for the save. I- GACK!
A Metroid had latched onto the Toad.
Link: Ahh!'
He slashes the Metroid off.
Toad: I'm buying you some Lon Lon, tonight.
Link pulls out his ocarina, and talks into it.
Link: Link.
Two frames appear, one with Link, the other with a knight.
Knight: In position. Do we proceed?
Link: Yes.
An explosion occurs, and squad two flanks the enemy.
Hylian: I'm hit!
Link: Hang on!
Koopaist 1: STOP THEM!
Koopaist 2: I can't. They've restrained me.
Koopaist 1: Am I the last left?
The Koopaist fires a shell at Link, who deflects it with ease.
Link: Is that all you got?
He fires his hookshot at him.
Link: That's the last of them... The day is won.

Mario turns off his kart, and walks into CKU. He steps in, goes through the safety procedures, and then is able to get in. Luigi is looking at him.
Luigi: Mario.
Mario: Luigi.
Metaknight walks in.
Metaknight: Hello, Mario. Kirby is waiting.
Mario: Perfect.
They walk into the conference room. Kirby stands there. He presses a button, and a mic appears. He sucks it in.
Kirby: Let's just cut the crud, and get to business. For a while, now, we have been tracking down a well-known Koopaist. He is named Wario. Mario has connections with him.
Mario: So, what's my cousin up to?
Kirby: We don't know. We were tipped off that he had been seen in the subway station in Onett. We sent the information over to CTU Onett, and they sent some people there. We got all his Koopaists, but he wasn't there. He escaped. Just a hour ago, we were tipped off that he was in a secret organization that sports a large amount of famous Koopaists. Ganondorf, Ridley, King DeDeDe, many others. Including Wario. It shouldn't be too hard finding it. Now, we have been getting numerous accounts of Poisoned Mushrooms. 70 percent resulted in death, 20 percent resulted in a mental breakdown, 10 percent in crippling. So, we have reason to believe that the two are related. The leader of the CTU team that assulted the subway station is named Link.
Zelda: But he works for CKU Hyrule, doesn't he?
Kirby: He moved. He got a bad rap after he let Ganondorf go. He needed a cool-down time period. Now, Mario, I need you to lead a team through what we believe is the next target. They are planning on releasing a Piranha Plant bomb on Isle Delfino. It's only a few miles from here. It shouldn't take long. You are dismissed.

Mario sits, looking at his pistol. It is a Fire Flower type. It's name is the FFP726. The pistol is made in this way: the body of a gun is created, and a Fire Flower bulb is planted into the barrel of it. It has twelve shots in it. Fox, a CKU assault officer, comes in.
Fox: We're ready to get on to Delfino.
Mario: Okay.
Fox: We're taking it in a different direction.
Mario: Do explain.
Fox: Okay. *pulls out PDA* If we used an assault boat to get to Isle Delfino, we would be gunned down by Koopa Shells.
Mario: Uh-huh.
Fox: But, there IS a transportation ship that Wario uses to get his supplies delivered. It's at the Blooper Docks. We need to sneak on that boat.
Mario: I see. Well, let's get to the van.
The two walk out, armed. Mario reaches the van, to see the rest of the team. There are four, including Fox, Falco, and a red one with dreadlocks.*
Mario: Who is the red one?
Knuckles: My name is Knuckles. I am a transfer from CKU Green Hill Zone.
Mario: You're one of the ones who prevented Chaos from killing us all?
Knuckles: Yes, sir.
Mario: And you fought against a renowned, non-Koopaist thief, named Rouge, for the Chaos Emeralds?
Knuckles: Yes, sir. And I remember hearing all about your feud with Bowser, trying to save the princess.
Mario: Good to have you aboard. Let's move out.
The frame goes into the corner. Another appears, which shows Link walking through the subway station. There is another with Ganondorf, and the rest at the base talking. Another appears with Kirby. It zooms into the one with Ganondorf.
Ridley: So, Wario is trying to plant a Piranha Bomb on Isle Delfino.
Ganondorf: You never know. He will, but he probably has something else planned. Something very cunning.
Waluigi: Knowing him, it's going to be big.
Ganondorf: Did he tell you what he was using to destroy Delfino?
Waluigi: No. It COULD be the Piranha Plant bomb, or one of his normal bombs, but those would only destroy a house or two.
Ganondorf: Anything ELSE at his disposal?
Waluigi: He does have something else.
Gannondorf: Give me the specs.
Waluigi: Whatever.
