Mario and Wario are seen watching the first Grand Star enter a tiny black ball in the middle of the Observatory.
Rosalina: Oh, thank you so very much for finding the Grand Star! It may not have powered much of the Observatory, but now my people can thrive here once again.
Wario: Wait, what do you mean?
Rosalina: Do you see these Lumas floating around? They are my family. I would like you to meet the eldest of the lumas. His name is Polari.
Polari: It’s an honor to meet you.
Rosalina: There isn’t really that much to see in the Observatory right now, but there is one dome open. It is called the Terrace. Polari, will you show our friends to the Terrace?
Polari: Yes Mama. All right, boys, let’s get started! And 1, 2, 1, 2,1, 2.
They march in an army style down to the Terrace.
Polari: So, before you start getting Stars, I’ll need to teach you the basics.
Mario: The basics? Like what?
Polari: Well, first of all, how to access a galaxy. This Luma will transform into a Pull Star.
Luma: TRANSFOOOOORM!
Polari: Ok, now that that’s done, point at it.
The Arios do so, and it starts to pull them in. The screen suddenly starts to turn into outer space.
Polari: Now, we must find a galaxy that the Observatory can reach. Try the one with the number 1 on it.
They point at the ball of light and it turns into the Good Egg Galaxy.
Polari: Now, let’s close in on this galaxy. I’m sensing a large amount of Power Star energy here, but the evil energy readings are off the charts! Still, I’m feeling some neutral energy. If you could tame the creature with this energy, we could use the creature to help us on our quest. Now off you go! And have a wonderful flight.
Wario: Flight?
Polari: Yes. You have to be launched there to cover the long distance. So, bye for now!
The Arios are launched towards the Good Egg Galaxy, and the adventure begins.
Wario: MOMMY!
I WANT MY MOMMY!
