Mario and Wario are walking around the observatory, observing its beauty... At least Mario is.
Wario: So Mario... Who do you think would win in a fight? Captain Planet, or... Captain America?
Mario sighs.
Wario: Well, I think the answer is obvious because a planet is much greater than a country, so....
He is interrupted by a small star.
Star: Go in there! Go in the library! You will find something useful!
Mario shrugs his shoulders and Wario thinks about money. They enter the archway of the library and see a cozy fire, with Roselia standing at the bookshelf. She smiles widely, almost too wide. To be honest, it sort of creeps me out...
Rosalina: Mario! Wario! Sit down!
She walks over to them and shoves them forcefully into chairs. Then the chairs lock them in with shackles.
Mario: Hey! What is this?
Even Wario is not strong enough to break free.
Rosalina: I'm going to share the story of my childhood with you... Once upon a time...
Hours go by...
Wario: AUGH!
Wario is having a seizure, and Mario is trying to gnaw his own arm off.
Rosalina: ...And that's the story of my life. Did you enjoy that?
She grins once more, showing her flawlessly white teeth, as her left eye twitches. Mario stares, horrified.
Mario: Don't we have to save Peach and Daisy? Don't we need to stop Bowser? Did that story have any point at all?
She tilts her head.
Rosalina: Hmmmn. Guess not.
Wario: I think my ears are bleeding...
They're released, and they run to the exit.
Mario: Let's make a vow to never go back there... Okay?
Wario: Wuzzat?
Back in the Library...
Star: Don't you think that was a bit extreme?
Rosalina: Nice fellas, huh?
Without warning,
she grabs the star and swallows him whole. She smiles. Let this be a warning
to you kids. Avoid the library.
