When Wario and Mario helped DP get to the observatory, he had a surprise for them.
DP is seen giving Wario a piece of paper.
Wario: Eh? "Come with me if you want a Star?" Sweet! What is it?
DP starts walking towards the Terrace. Wario follows, wondering where the Star is.
Mario: Wario, what’s DP doing?
Wario: Leading me to a Star!
Mario: What? I’m coming too!
Soon, they are all in the Terrace, and DP is seen in front of the space background.
Wario: What is he doing?
DP then opens a giant ? Box and a galaxy pops out of it.
Mario: Oh! He led us to a new galaxy!
They fling towards it, and land on a giant cube filled with blue ? switches. They land on one, turning it yellow.
Wario: Mario, I think we need to turn these switches yellow.
Mario: I can see that.
They start walking around, turning the switches yellow. Then a machine thing creates a shockwave that hurts them both.
Mario and Wario: Blagidyagidyagidyaag! Ouch!
Mario: Stupid machine!
Wario: Mario, there are two more sides to this thing.
Mario: Let’s each take one side and then meet back up here.
They use this strategy, but when they are about to hit the last of their switches, these spikey-sided platforms each ram into them.
Both: YEOOOOOWWWCH! STUPID PLATFORMS!
They manage to hit the switch on their side, thus turning the whole cube yellow. It then turns green, and the Star appears above the machine.
Wario: Aww, dang it.
Mario: The machine doesn’t seem to be hurting us anymore.
Mario then jumps
on it, and it spring him up to the Star. Wario follows, and they both fly
back to the Observatory.
