Mario and Wario entered the Garden Dome and saw the Purple Comet orbiting the Melty Molten Galaxy.
Wario: Purple comet off the port bow!
Mario: Wario, we're not at the ocean.
Wario: I know. I just wanted to say that.
Mario: Ok.
Mario and Wario both travel to the Melty Molten Galaxy, seeing Purple Coins scattered all over the volcano's area as they land.
Mario: This will be easy since this area isn't too big, like Honeyhive or Beach Bowl!
Wario punched Mario so hard that he landed on top of the volcano.
Wario: Well it's still annoying how we have to spend time collecting them like in Deep Dark, but unlike Toy Time or even the Ghostly Galaxy!
Mario: Thanks for the lift!
Mario entered the volcano and collected the Purple Coins inside, them launched back out to collect some more.
Mario: Aren't you going to help me?
Wario: Sure. Whatever.
Mario and Wario continued collecting until they had 30 Purple Coins in total.
Wario: Some of these Purple Coins require me to jump onto those sinking platforms. Do your part since you're lighter than me, will you?
Mario: Ok.
Mario jumped onto the sinking platforms and helped Wario collect more Purple Coins. Soon they were up to 50 coins.
Mario: Don't forget the rest!
Soon they were up to 80 Purple Coins.
Wario: I'm collecting as fast as I can!
Soon they had 99 Purple Coins total, with the last Purple Coin just a stone's throw away from Mario.
Mario: Just one more!
Mario quickly grabbed the last Purple Coin, but Wario suddenly punched Mario off the edge and into the abyss.
Wario: Just try to thank me for THAT!
Wario quickly grabbed the Star, but the Star fell and Mario, who was still falling, grabbed it and floated back up to Wario.
Mario: Thanks!
Wario: WHY YOU...! ...are welcome...
They returned to the Comet
