Last time, we met Axem Violet (Axem Purple’s sister) and Rudy the X-Naut. They were thrown on a quest to collect the Crystal Hearts and stop an unknown evil. They had to team up with P.T. Piranha to get to Isle Delfino and then Daisy challenged Violet and Rudy to a baseball game. Oh, and there was another plot, but we’ll focus on that later. So who will win? Let’s see!
Chapter 1: The Pirates Appear
Violet: So… What?
Daisy: We play baseball and if you win you guys can keep the boat, and if I win I’m the leader of the group!
Violet: Uhhhh… How about no?
Rudy: Won’t we reach the island by that time?
Daisy: No.
Rudy: We’d really rather not.
Daisy: Darn! Fine, you can lead but you can’t keep the boat. We use it as I see fit! I gotta go change though, I need to find some clothes I can get dirty.
P.T.: Here we are!
On the shore, Daisy is wearing a shirt reminiscent of her dress, and some jeans.
Rudy: That was fast. I’m pleasantly surprised.

Violet: Who cares, let’s just find the Emerald Heart. Now who do we ask?
Daisy: Aren’t these stories supposed to have RPG elements? In RPGs whenever you get to a new town you always have to ask the mayor.
At the mayor’s place…
Violet: Do you know where the Emerald Heart is?
Mayor: Hmm… What’s the Emerald Heart? Wait, aren’t you that guy who came asking for Subspace Sprites or something?
Violet: … That was my brother…
Mayor: Oh,. No I have no idea where it is.
They go back outside.
Violet: That was pointless!
Rudy: Hey, RPG expert, if the mayor doesn’t know, then what?
Daisy: I don’t know! Hey look, it’s P.T.
P.T. is in the fetal position.
Rudy: What happened to him?
Daisy: From the looks of it, he went to a trap video.
Rudy: You don’t mean-
Daisy: Yes. One like this, but not that very video exactly.
Violet: … Are you going to tell us where “this” is?

Violet: Ouch… So now what?
Rudy: Well there’s virtually no plot yet, we have no information on the Heart, and P.T. fell into a trap. I say we quit.
Violet: We can’t quit. Hey those guys look suspicious!
Two shadowy people are seen running off into an ally.
Violet: After them!
Violet, Rudy, and Daisy follow, leaving P.T.
P.T.: … Why won’t he give me up?! I don’t even like the guy!
The three make it to the ally.
Rudy: Hey! Do you guys know about the Emerald Heart?
The shadows are revealed to be two Pirate Guys. You know the light blue Shy Guys with bandanas in Yoshi’s Island DS.
Red: Arr! We be Pirate Guys! We be looking for treasure! We be tired of saying “we be”!
Yellow: That’s why I talk like a normal person.
Red: …
Violet: Can we have some treasure?
Red: What kind?
Violet: A shiny green jewel heart?
Red: No, that’s the captain’s favorite!
Rudy: Which captain?
Yellow: One of the few villain-ish characters left in our world: Captain Syrup!
Rudy: She’s never been in one of the author’s submissions before! Not with a real role anyway! P.T. never played Wario Land!
Red: Then we’d beat you in a fight! Now go away!
Red and Yellow dash past.
Violet: After them!
Violet, Rudy, and Daisy follow the Pirate Guys. They go by the Great Pianta statue and down to the police station, but the heroes keep up. They go over to the Shine Gate and make an incredible jump across the water.
Daisy: What?! Stand back…
Daisy goes back… and runs and jumps.
Violet and& Rudy: 0_0
And she misses and lands on a passing boat face-first.
Daisy: I’m okay…
Violet holds up a sign that says 4.0, Rudy holds one that says 4.5. The boat drops Daisy off at the Shine Gate and the three eventually go to where the Pirates went, to see a rowboat heading to Pinna Park.
Rudy: Super Mario Sunshine all over again! Back to the Daisy Cruiser!
Daisy: Excuse me, I decide if we use it… To the Daisy Cruiser!
Rudy: …
On the boat, Violet takes control of the wheel and they head to Pinna Park. They make it and enter the park.
Violet: Did you see any pirates around here?
Noki: No. But maybe my friend Benjamin Franklin could help remind me.
Rudy: I’m broke.
Noki: No, literally. Get me a time machine and I can go visit my old friend from my original time period and I’ll ask him!
Rudy: …
Daisy: Look!
They find Red and Yellow over behind the papaya tree, and go over there.
Violet: Not so fast, Captain Syrup!
Syrup: So you finally caught me! Well if you want this thing then tough!
Syrup runs away.

Violet reaches for it, when Blue Pirate Guy runs by and takes it.
Blue: Don’t worry, Captain, I’ll hide it somewhere!
Blue bumps into P.T.
P.T.: … The good news is I’ve discovered the anti version of that song, which I can use to beat you, whoever you are! I really paid no attention to this chapter’s plot whatsoever.
Blue: What are you-
P.T.: Hit it!

Scatman gradually takes closer steps, and Blue is freaking out.

Blue is covering his ears and rolling around.
P.T. walks up and pulls out his Golden Hammer.
P.T.: FIVE! I mean– FORE!
P.T. putts Blue around 23 miles away. Fortunately when he started freaking out he dropped the Emerald Heart. Violet comes up and takes it.
Violet: Cool!
Scatman: I’M A SCATMAN! Bepiagpagjdgjaijgsapijfidd-
Violet: Yeah, you can stop now.
P.T.: But-
Violet: Stop.
P.T.: Killjoy.
P.T. knocks Scatman far away in another direction the same way he got rid of Blue.
P.T.: NO OFFENSE!
Violet: 0_0
Rudy: What happened?
Violet: I heard a voice say “swirling doom”. I’m going to guess we just learned about the plot a tiny bit!
Daisy: What does it mean?
Violet: I don’t know, but there’s a blue light coming from this, and now it’s pointing in some direction. Since it’s blue, I’m going to guess it’s the Sapphire Heart next. Let’s go.
Daisy: Ahem.
Violet: … Daisy, can we go?
Daisy: Yes.
~Rest in peace, Scatman. I don’t really
think I’m a fan of him, but that one song sure was catchy.
Chapter 2: More Hot Times on Lavalava Island
Violet, Rudy, P.T., and Daisy made it to Isle Delfino and looked around for the Emerald Heart. P.T. got Rick Roll’d and the others found out that Captain Syrup hired Pirate Guys to get the Emerald Heart. In Pinna Park behind the papaya tree, the two groups had a showdown and Violet’s trio won. Blue Pirate Guy managed to swipe the Emerald Heart but P.T. used the power of Anti-Rick (AKA Scatman) to defeat the remaining pirate. Now they have to follow a beam of light to the Sapphire Heart. And apparently there’s something about a swirling doom.
Violet: Where is it leading?
Rudy: My Spidey Senses indicate it must be a fire place.
P.T.: Like the kind that Santa comes out of?
Rudy: No… I mean like a volcano or something.
P.T.: Riiiiight.
Daisy: Rudy’s right, according to this map it’s leading to… Lavalava Island.
Violet: That place with the Piranha Plants?
Daisy: That’d be the point.
Violet: Uhhhh… I kind of have a thing against Piranha Plants…
Daisy: Well you’d better get over it!
Rudy: Well we got here fast.
Violet: Oh…
On Lavalava Island, the village is deserted.
P.T.: Weird.
Violet: Who cares? Let’s just go into the volcano.
An old Lakitu floats up.
P.T.: Hey you! Get off my cloud!
Lak: What?! No! Don’t go into the volcano!
Violet: Why not? Other than the fact that there are – ulp - monster plants in there?
Lak: Recently there were weird purple bubbles all over the place!
Violet: My brother saved us from that.
Lak: Yeah, but while we were all trapped, something happened to the Lava Piranha, he got bigger and stronger! Suddenly he managed to extend his vines to capture the whole village!
Rudy: Yikes!
Lak: You’d better stay away!
Daisy: We need to get a treasure from in there!
Lak: Not worth it!
Violet: But the world could be in danger!
Lak: Good luck with that! If you want to die, anyway! I’m gonna sell this island to suicidal people!
Rudy: We’ll beat that monster, you’ll see!
Violet: How about I just wait on the boat?
Daisy: You’re coming into the volcano with us, and you’re gonna like it.
Inside…
Rudy: Is it me or do the insides seem a lot like Thwomp Volcano?
Daisy: I’ve heard that there was an odd occurrence after Subspace left Plit, merging Thwomp Volcano and Lavalava Volcano.
Violet: Do you think maybe that means there’s only one Piranha Plant left?
Daisy: I don’t know!
They continue and find a Yoshi in a cage.
Rufus: … P.T.?! Not you again! … And Purple?
Violet: I’m his sister.
Rufus: Oh great.
Rudy: Why is he in the story?
P.T.: He was a fan favorite!
Rudy: According to whom?
P.T.: Oh, what, I can’t be a fan of my own works anymore?
Rudy: …
Rufus: I came here for a vacation even though it’s essentially the same as my island. Now listen- I gotta get away from this island!
Violet: Well if you help us kill the… plant, you can come with us.
Rufus: Anything to get out of this dump! I think he’s in the center of the volcano. Check out this crude map:

Daisy kicks the lock and it breaks. Rufus opens the door.
Rufus: I automatically like this adventure better than the last. Plus more girls!
Rufus joined the party! They continue.
Thwomp: Hello, visitors! I Thwomp elevator! I take you lower!
P.T.: Can you take us higher?
Thwomp: No. Fatal flaw. We go down?
Violet: Yes.
On the way down…
Violet: So the center is also at the bottom?
Rufus: Bottom center, yeah.
Daisy: We should probably save some of the Yoshis.
Rudy: Yeah. Violet, we’re gonna go find some of the imprisoned Yoshis.
The Thwomp stops.
Thwomp: Rock in the way.
Rufus: You’re a Thwomp! Can’t you crush it?
Thwomp: No.
Rufus: Move!
Thwomp goes up and Rufus hops off and ground pounds on the rock, breaking it… and plummeting down to the bottom. The Thwomp follows.
Rufus: Ow…
Thwomp: That look fun!
Violet: Whatever… So if we kill the plant we will get the Sapphire Heart for sure, right? RIGHT?!
Rufus: Gah! I don’t know! What is it with you and Piranha Plants?
Violet: They just creep me out! I don’t know how my brother could stand being on an adventure with one. Let’s just go.
They enter the center room. It’s the big crater, and there’s a big pool of lava. Violet can see something moving around beneath.
Violet: Eep!
P.T.: Is it hot in here? I feel hot.
Rufus: We’d better watch it.
A vine creeps up behind Violet. It taps her shoulder.
Violet: Aaah!!!
She chops it.
????: ROOOOOOOARRRRRRRRR!!!
Violet: What was that?!
Rufus: The monster, genius.
Violet: …
Lava Piranha’s (now titanic) head sticks up from the lava.
Lava Piranha: ROAR!!!
He slams his head down and it squishes P.T.
Violet: I’m gone!
Rufus wraps his tongue around her ankle and flings her over and hits the monster’s head.
Violet: I HATE PIRANHA PLANTS!
Lava Piranha: I’M NOT SO CRAZY ABOUT YOU EITHER!
LP wraps a vine around her and has a tug of war with Rufus until Rufus loses his grip. The monster then tries to slam Violet into a wall, but she sticks her feet out and pushes off and forces herself down. Rufus comes up and chops the vine with the dropped axe, and Violet frees herself. P.T. wakes up and throws the boomerang at LP’s head before it goes after Rufus.
Lava Piranha: I CAN’T FIGHT THREE OF YOU!
Two more heads like his pop out from the lava.
Violet: THREE?!
Rufus: Ugh…
Meanwhile the original head has a vine wrapped around P.T. and is holding him in the air.
Head 1: WELL! HOW WOULD YOU PREFER TO DIE?! I CAN EAT YOU, CRUSH YOU TO DEATH, OR DUNK YOU INTO THE LAVA!
P.T.: Uhh, can we add “old age” to the option list?
Head 1: REJECTED!
Head 1 starts squeezing him but Violet’s axe flies by and frees P.T… who drops toward the lava. But now that the vine’s gone…
P.T.: Super Fist of the Nose-Hair: Wings Don’t Fail Me Now!
P.T. is rapidly flapping his arms inches over the lava.
Everyone: …
P.T. makes it back over to land. Meanwhile…
Daisy: We’re in the cellblock? Already? Why was Rufus on the other end of the volcano?
Rudy: I don’t know.
Yellow Yoshi: The monster woke up! We need to stop him!
Rudy: How?
Yellow Yoshi: We have a plan but you have to free us.
Meanwhile, the three heads have the three all wrapped up.
Head 1: PLAYING WITH MY FOOD HAS NEVER BEEN THIS EXCITING! BUT AS MOM ALWAYS SAID, “ENOUGH PLAYING AND MORE EATING!”
The heads start getting ready to eat, when suddenly a Chomp Rock lands on the original head, and it faints and slams into the wall. The shaking causes more rocks to land on the other heads. The rocks also cover the lava and make it safe to land. The three free themselves and Violet starts chopping up the remains.
Rufus: Uhh, I think he’s still alive… Well he isn’t now…
Rufus looks up to see a tunnel exit high up with Rudy, Daisy, and the other Yoshis. Back outside…
Chief: We thank you for saving us from Mt. Lavalava/Thwomp Volcano!
Violet: I’m just glad we got rid of that plant monster. Now do you know where the Sapphire Heart is?
Chief: The monster had it, but the other day Raphael took it. Go check.
Violet, Rudy, P.T., Daisy, and Rufus all head over to Raphael’s tree and find him beaten.
Violet: Oh my DAD! What happened to you?!
Raphael: … Captain Syrup robbed me… She had some Shy Guys with her…
Violet: Not her again!
Rudy: Where’d she go?!
Raphael: She said something about Seaside Town…
Daisy: To Seaside Town!
Violet: We should probably see to Raphael.
Daisy: He’ll be fine, nobody ever dies on these adventures!
Violet: … Purple!
Daisy: Other than him!
Violet: Tabuu? Fiery Dino Piranha? The boss we just beat? Bowser? Kamek? Bonechill?
Daisy: … One more name and you’re not coming back onto the boat.
P.T.: She’s not lying.
Violet: …
Chapter 3: Seaside Town
Violet, Rudy, P.T., and Daisy made it to Lavalava Island and found Rufus the red Yoshi in the volcano. The team split up with Violet, P.T., and Rufus fighting the supped up Lava Piranha, while Rudy and Daisy saved the Yoshis. The Yoshis had a plan to beat Lava Piranha, then the group discovered that Raphael Raven had the Sapphire Heart. But apparently Captain Syrup took it and ran off for Seaside Town!
The Daisy Cruiser docks at Seaside Town.
Rufus: Maybe I should’ve gone HERE for vacation.
Rudy: Did you see anyone around here?
Red Shy Guy: No.
Rufus: In retrospect, this town sure is empty. Like, a lot.
Red Shy Guy: Can’t imagine why.
Rudy: Don’t you live here?
RSG: I’m oblivious.
Rudy: … Is there even a mayor?
RSG: Yeah, she lives in a house… somewhere around here.
Daisy: Do you even know how you got here?
RSG: Ship.
Daisy: …
The group continue to the mayor’s house. They find a tall Toad woman in business clothes.
Violet: Ma’am, have you seen any pirates?
Mayor: No I haven’t. You might want to check near the docks, I heard that some people tried to hide something in the sunken ship over there.
Violet: How will we be able to breathe?
Mayor: Fishbowls?
Violet: … Fine.
Rufus: Lady, do you know why this town is so empty?
Mayor: Nope! Haven’t a clue! Now go.
After buying five fishbowls from a blue Shy Guy…
Rudy: We’re never shopping there again! He charged way too much!
They dive in and look for the sunken ship.
Violet: There it is!
Inside…
P.T.: Why is it so dry in here?
Violet: Who cares?
Rudy: Look, the treasure room!
Daisy: Wait, doesn’t King Kalimari live there?
Rudy: No, I think he died.
In the treasure room, they find that no treasure is there. Suddenly the door locks behind them!
Violet: What the-
Violet goes over to the door and tries to chop it up, but the wood’s real hard.
Rufus: Uh, Violet?
Violet: What? Oh…
They find the skeleton of a Mega Unagi.
Violet: Maybe if we just-
Mega Bone: ROOOOOARRR!!!
Violet: Why are there so many giant monsters?!

The mayor removes her disguise to reveal-
Violet, Rudy, and Daisy: Captain Syrup?!
Rufus: The Captain Syrup?!
P.T.: Who?
Syrup: That’s right, it’s me! I knew that Raven would squeal, so we went to hide out here and I needed to find a way to distract you so we could take your ship! We locked up the citizens so they wouldn’t squeal!
Rufus: Dang.
Syrup: Men! The charade’s over!
The red Shy Guy on the ship reveals himself to be Red! Blue and Yellow drop out of nowhere!
Syrup: We also picked up some souvenirs from the other island!
A bunch of Spear Guys appear!
Violet: No! I’m too tired from the last boss fight!
Syrup: Then it’ll be easier getting rid of you! ATTACK!
