Chapter 4: Dimensional Terror
The Mario Bros. and Koops went to three separate places in order to get the pieces of the Flight Star. Each of them ran into something unusual. Mario found a note showing the lore about the Mecha Angels. Luigi heard Bowser saying he will become invincible with dream power. Koops found a letter written by a person who goes by the name of Rosemary. After flying into the X-Naut base, the trio faced many hardships, but got past them, saving Éclair of the Waffle Kingdom and Rosemary, a Human/Toad/Mecha Angel hybrid, defeating Grodus and Crump even with the Magnus von Grapple 3.0, and taking the yellow Sacred Star. Afterwards, Rosemary joined the party, and the quartet took Eclair back to the Waffle Kingdom. Later, they took a break at Mario's Pad. What secret do the Sacred Stars hold? How did the Princesses of Heart got such power to unlock the Halo of Dreams?
At Mario's pad...
Mario: Well, we saved three of the Princesses and have three of the Sacred Stars.
Koops: Yeah.
Luigi: Um, guys?
Rosemary: What is it, Luigi?
Luigi: ...
Flashback...
Bowser: NO! NOT THIS TIME!
Luigi: WHAT DO-A YOU MEAN?
Bowser: WHEN I GAIN THE POWER OF DREAMS, I WILL BE INVINCIBLE!
Luigi: Huh?
Bowser: So long, sucker!
He left.
Luigi: I don't get it... How can he become invincible with dream power? Something's not right...

Mario: Well?
Koops: ...
Luigi: Look, I don't know if this is important, but Bowser told me when he gets the power of dreams, he will-a be invincible. But, the question is, how? That is what I am noticing. I mean, something is not right. It's-a just plain confusing... and wrong...
Mario: Yeah, something-a unusual is going on. That is what I noticed back at the funeral home. I saw some suspicious activity.
Koops: Me too.
Rosemary: Yes... Mario, do you know where should we go next? ...? What is that book you are holding on to? Let me scan it. I have scan vision.
Rosemary switched to the Scan Visor, and scanned the book Mario is holding on. When the scan completed, the results were in.
Rosemary: You must be holding onto the book of the Halo of Dreams.
Mario: Yes. Let me open it up...
Mario opened up the book. Partway through flipping the pages, it lifted away from Mario and turned to the map. There, a green light shined on a rather eerie-looking castle. There was a purple void behind it. That was Count Bleck's castle.
Mario: (Bleck's castle, hm? I cannot and will not let the twisted mastermind of dimensions takeover the dimensions again. He tried to do so once, he's not gonna do it again.) That is where shall we go.
There was a small tremor.
Koops: Hey, what was that?
Mario: It must be coming from the Mushroom River. Let's check it out.
So, the red plumber, the Human/Toad/Mecha Angel hybrid, the green plumber, and the young Koopa went to the river. There, they saw that the tremor had come from the river. Suddenly, a large ball of water rose from the river. When the ball exploded, someone popped out of the ball. It was...
Mario: OH NO, IT'S WENDY!
Wendy: Ha! You four are goin' down!
Luigi: Not if we stop you!
Wendy: Go ahead... MAKE MY DAY!
Koops: Ice Shell!
Whooshwhooshwhooshhhh... SLAM! CHINK!
Wendy: AAHHH! IT'S COLD!
One portion of Rosemary's upper wrist armor on her right wrist rose upwards, revealing a laser cannon.
Mario: What is that?
Rosemary: That is my laser scope.
Rosemary fired her laser scope at Wendy, but Wendy dodged and blocked the first 7 shots. Wendy, however, got hit by the last two shots. Wendy then charged at Luigi, and took him down. Next, she punched and kicked Luigi over and over again.
Luigi: WWWAHHHH! HELP!
Wendy: DIE! JUST DIE! MAKE IT EASY FOR ME! DIE ALREADY!
Mario, Koops, and Rosemary: ???
Mario noticed that Wendy had become more aggressive then ever. Her aggressiveness became really severe, surpassing even that of Roy. Mario grabbed Wendy by the bow and tossed her against a rock by the river. Wendy used the river's water to wash away Koops and Mario. Then she fired a water beam that pierced Rosemary's armor, damaging it. Luigi saw cybernetics underneath the armor. Rosemary covered the gap with her hand as she lowered herself in pain. Koops used Power Shell on Wendy, and Wendy slammed him against Rosemary. Then she turned to Mario and knocked him back, but he tossed a fireball, burning her.
Mario: And just when I-a thought Roy was the most aggressive... Luigi! Do the Splash Bros!
Mario jumped on Luigi and after he did, he whirled around in midair. He started coming down, but then Luigi pushed him up with such force that Mario went high in the air. Rosemary enlarged her laser scope large enough for Luigi to jump in. Meanwhile, Wendy launched a water bomb assault on Koops. After the assault, Koops had bruises all over him. Then, Koops whirled around Wendy. Wendy became dizzy and started to lose air. Rosemary used her visor to lock on to Wendy.
Rosemary: Are you ready, Luigi?
Luigi: Okie dokie.
Rosemary: Mario is about to come down...
Then Rosemary launched Luigi at Wendy just as Koops's shell homed in on Wendy, and Mario came close to landing on Wendy. All three had hit her at the same time, causing severe pain.
Wendy: AAAARGGGGGGHHHHHH! WATER BLAST!
BBOOOMMMM! BOOOOOMMMM! FFWWWUUUSSSHHHH!
Mario: MAMAMIAAAAAAAA!!!
Luigi: AAAAAHHHHHHHGHHH!

Rosemary: NNNOOOOOOOOOAAAHHHH!
Wendy: Ahahahahha! Had enough?
Luigi: I'll tell you. THUNDERHAND!

Mario: Here comes the pain!

As Wendy lay on the ground burnt, Mario started to laugh.
Mario: Hahahahahaha...
Wendy: What is so funny?
Luigi started to laugh too as well as Koops. Rosemary giggled.
Luigi: Hahahahaha...
Koops: Touch your head... Hahahahaha...
Mario: Hahaha... Your bow...
Wendy touched her head and found out that her bow was gone. She was now bald.
Wendy: WWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHH! MY BOW! (screaming louder than usual) YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS! WATER BOMB!

Rosemary: AAAAAGGGHHHH! My head...

Luigi: Ahhhhhh!

Mario: This isn't good. … ? What's happening?
The yellow Sacred Star started glowing. It was giving him a new move, "Power Shine".
Mario: Here we go. POWER SHINE!
Mario and Co. started glowing. They felt stronger than usual and more protected.
Mario: Let's-a go! Fireball!
Fling! BAM!
Wendy: UUUURRRAAGHH! Water Beam!
Rosemary: Electric Whip!
An electrical whip formed from Rosemary's laser scope. She charged up and whipped Wendy hard. WhooshWHIPPOW! ZAAAPPP!
Wendy: BLAGIDIBLAGIDIBLAGIDIAAGGGGG!
Mario: FIREBRAND!
FFFFFWWWOOOM!
Wendy: AAARRGGHHHH! WATER BLAST!
Luigi: Thunder Spiral!

Mario: What are you doing?
Rosemary: We must fly up.
Rosemary revealed jets on the boots of her armor, and took Mario upwards.
Rosemary: When I drop you, you need to attack Wendy!
Mario: Ok!
Rosemary dropped Mario and then...
Mario: FIRE SPIRAL!
WHooshwhooshwhoosh... BBLLLAMMM! FFFWWOOOOMMM! BBOOMMM!
Wendy: ...
Mario: She's dead.
Luigi: Let's get going.
The quartet walked away from Wendy's dead body. Then, they began walking to Count Bleck's castle, not aware that Bowser Jr. was watching them...
Bowser Jr: Papa, they have taken down Wendy and are headed for Bleck's castle.
Bowser: Warn if they get close to Bleck.
Bowser Jr: Roger.
Back to Mario and Co...
Mario: Ok, the map said we need to use the Rainbow Road to get to Bleck's castle.
Koops: Yes, but how?
Mario: Vista Hill. Something is on top of Vista Hill.
Silence fell. Then, Luigi thought of the aftermath of battling Iggy.
Luigi: This doesn't-a make any sense. Bowser said he will be invincible with dream power...
Koops: The voice in Mario's dream told him Bowser is not behind this...
Mario: Nobody knows how the Princesses of Heart got such a power to unlock the halo...
Rosemary: Nobody knows much about the Sacred Stars or the Mecha Angels or the pieces... So...
All: What is happening?
Mario: We need to get going.
Mario and Co. started walking on the path to Vista Hill. When they reached to the forest area...
Luigi: This area is peaceful...
Mario: But something dangerous is here.
???: Hey, who's there?
Luigi, hearing this, turned to see an X-Naut, a Hammer Bro., and a Tanoomba.
Tanoomba: You four ain't going any further! Mimic!
The Tanoomba transformed into an Elite X-Naut.
Tanoomba: Charge!
The Tanoomba charged at Rosemary, but...
Rosemary: Light Shockwave!
Rosemary released a wave blast from her left hand, causing the Tanoomba to fall down and morph back into his original form.
Tanoomba: Owie...
Stomp!
Tanoomba: Ahh!
The X-Naut charged at Mario, and rammed into him. Rosemary grabbed the Hammer Bro and dealt a punch that paralyzed him.
Mario: What was that?
Rosemary: Heart Strike.
Luigi: Someone call the cops!
Luigi grabbed a gulf club and used it to send Koops's shell into the X-Naut, sending him into the tree. Luigi jumped on the Hammer Bro and Mario stomped on him.
Koops: They are down and out.
Mario: Let's keep moving.
The quartet continued on.
Mario: … ? It's getting hotter every second.
Koops: Now that you mentioned it, I saw some sand.
Luigi: There is some cacti here. The trees are thinning.
Mario: We must be at the desert area.
He was right. The trees up ahead disappeared, and large hills of sand were up ahead.
Koops: Uh, Rosemary? Why were you implanted with the Mecha Angel pieces?
Rosemary: I'll tell you. It happened four years ago.
Flashback…
Rosemary (voiceover): We were taking the train to Mushroom City, me and my sisters. We were going over there because we were taking a tour.
Mario: Wow.
Rosemary: Amy?
Amy: What is it?
Rosemary: We are taking a tour, right?
Amy: Yes. A tour about the Mushroom City.
Rosemary (voiceover): Suddenly, the driver of the train became drowsy, and missed our exit.
Alison: The driver is asleep! Wake him up!
Rosemary (voiceover): My sister ,Emily, tried to wake the driver up, but it was no use.
Emily: I can't wake him up!
Amy: We missed our exit!
Rosemary (voiceover): Before I knew it, we were about into the streets because there was a gap in the railroad.
Alison: AMY!
Amy: What is it?
Alison: WE ARE ABOUT TO CRASH!
Amy: WHAT?!
Emily: OH MY-
CRASSHHHHH!
Amy: AAAAGGGHHHH!
Emliy: AAAAARGRGHHHHH!
Alison: YYYYYAGGGHHH!
Rosemary: GGGGNNOOOAAAAGHHHH!
Seconds later...
Koopa: What the... Lots of damage. Broken windows... and... Oh my DAD... You’d better take a look at this!
Toad: What is it?
Koopa: Look. She's suffered the worst damage.
Toad: Why?
Koopa: She went through the engine. I can still feel her pulse, but she's not gonna live any longer. GET THE PASSENGERS TO THE HOSPITAL!
Later...
Toad Nurse: Look at the injuries... They are severe... Prep her for surgery.
Koopa Doctor: Right away. Let's reattach her arm.
Later...
Koopa Doctor: #$%^! The nerves were dead when we reattached the arm.
Toad Nurse: But, we can still repair the body parts.
Koopa Doctor: Let's do this.
After the surgery...
Toad Nurse: Don't tell me... It didn't work.
Koopa Doctor: Her pulse is dropping. I got one more idea, and let's hope it works. She must undergo cybernetic augmentation.

Rosemary: Me, my sisters, and most of the passengers had to be taken to the hospital. I suffered the worst damage because I flew through the engine. I had to undergo three operations, but the first two were no good. As a last resort, they removed my damaged body parts, the exceptions are my head, my spinal cord, and some others. Then they replaced them with cybernetic implants. They didn't know it, but they were implanting me with the Light Mecha Angel pieces.
Mario: Oh man...
Luigi and Koops: No way...
Mario: Wowser... Wait, I read this piece of paper that shows that there are two of them. You are implanted with the light pieces. I'm not sure what has become of the dark pieces... We need to keep going.
Mario and Co. traveled across the desert area, fighting Bandits and Pokeys along the way. Then they reached the coastal area, where they had to go across the lake in order to reach the other side. They fought a giant Blooper along the way. After a long trail, they finally reached Vista Hill. They found something.
Mario: What’s this?
It was a glowing orb with an unknown picture inside. Mario touched the orb and then...
Mario: What the-
FLASH!
Mario: MAMAMIAAAAAAAA!
Koops: WWWWOOOOOAAAHHHHH!
Luigi: YYYYYAAAAAAAHHHHHH!
Rosemary: AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!
THUD!
Mario: Ow...
Rosemary: Where are we?
Mario: I don't know.
They were in a green field with trees. There was a dirt trail in the grass field.
Mario: Wait, we are in Lineland.
Luigi: We need to go.
Mario and Co. traveled across the forest of Lineland, fighting Koopas and Goombas along the way. At the end, they ran into something.
Koops: What's this?
It was a golden box. Mario opened it up. Inside was a golden pair of shoes, a golden hammer, a golden shell, and a golden hand..
Mario: Wait, what do these items do?
Luigi: Let me try the shoes.
Mario: I'll get the hammer.
Koops: The shell is for me.
Rosemary: I'll use the hand.
Luigi put the shoes on. Mario discarded his original hammer and took the golden hammer. Koops put on the golden shell. Rosemary puts on the hand. Suddenly, Toadette appeared from the bush.
Toadette: Wow! You got the Golden Items!
Mario: What do they do?
Toadette: Well, Mario, your Golden Hammer allows you to do the Super Hammer attack.
Mario: I know that attack.
Toadette: That is not all. You may also use Ice Smash and Electric Slam. Luigi, your shoes allow you to do a Super Jump, and you can also speed up with these shoes. Koops, your Golden Shell allows your shell to become faster and more powerful. Your may even charge up. And as for you, Rosemary, your Golden Hand allows you to inhale air, and lets your body superheat it. Then, you can release the plasma through the fingertips of your hand.
Luigi: Cool.
Toadette: See you later!
She left.
Koops: Hey, what's with the block?
Mario looked up and saw a block with a rainbow star in it.
Luigi: Let me hit it.
Luigi hit the block. This caused Mario and Co. to teleport. They were now in a sunset area. It was also humid.
Mario: We are in Gloam Valley.
Luigi: We need to go.
Koops: Wait, there is a huge lake up ahead.
Mario: We need to get across by going in.
Mario jumped into the lake first, and the others followed suit. Then, they dived down. Mario looked around and saw Cheep Cheeps. Luigi took no notice of this. Koops looked upwards, and saw the color of the sky. Rosemary looked around. Most of them had thoughts of the lake being a nice place, but Mario, however, thought that there was something hidden in the lake. He felt unusual heat below. So Mario went downwards and the others saw him going down. Rosemary switched to the thermograph and saw unusual heat readings at the bottom. The others followed Mario. There was a hole on the side that Mario went in because of the heat. When he went upwards, he was in a room filled with stained-glass art of 7 stars, 7 princesses, and a halo. The others went upwards as well.
Luigi: What is this place?
Koops: What's with the pedestal?
Mario looked on the pedestal and saw a piece of paper. He picked it up.
Mario: It says:
The Sacred Stars are ancient items created by the original 7 Star Spirits. They have been known to hold a power to unlock the Halo of Dreams. However, the spirits were worried of evil hands trying to get those items. So, they scattered them across Plit in hidden places. But, they were not the only source of this power. There were also 7 people known as the Princesses of Heart. They have powers that unlock the Halo that they were given at birth by the Star Spirits. If one princess dies, the magic will go to another princess. The current Princesses of Heart are:

Luigi saw a pedestal. On the pedestal was a star. It was colored green. This could mean one thing...
Koops: That is the Sacred Star!
Mario: Well, no one is guarding it.
Mario and Co. walked towards the pedestal to get the Sacred Star, but just before they even got close to it...
???: You can't have that Star!
Rosemary turned around and saw a huge Goomba with a crown. Koops turned around to see...
Koops: Oh no, it's GOOMBOSS!
Goomboss: I have been hired by Count Bleck to destroy you four!
Mario: Luigi! Chopper Bros!
Mario hammered Luigi down into the ground. As Mario jumped across towards Goomboss, Luigi moved with Mario. When they intersected, Luigi popped upwards, bringing Mario up towards Goomboss' face. After this, Mario spun his hammer to rapidly hit Goomboss in the face.
???: Piyo!
ZZZAAAPPPP! A huge beam of plasma came out of nowhere and hit Goomboss. A pink puffball with red shoes came from the hallway. He was also wearing a headdress with green crystals on it. These crystals were encased with electricity.
Luigi: Hi-a, Kirby!
Kirby: Piyo!
WHAP-POW! Slam!
Goomboss: AAGGHHH! Try this for size, Kirby! Headbonk Smash!
BONK! CRACK!
Kirby: AAHHHHHHH!
After this, Goomboss kicked Rosemary and ground pounded Luigi. Mario grabbed his hammer...
Mario: Electric Slam!
WHACK! Zaaaap!
Goomboss: WWHHAAYOOOOLAGIDIBLAGIDIBLAGIDIBLAGIDIAAAGGGG!
Luigi: Here we go!
Luigi jumped really high and slammed Goomboss' head. Koops went around Goomboss many times, confusing Goomboss. This allowed Rosemary to inhale air, superheat it, and release it as plasma through her left hand, zapping Goomboss.
Kirby: Piyo! (Stone!)
Kirby transformed into a Thwomp and slammed HARD on Goomboss' head.
Goomboss: STOP! EARTHQUAKE SLAM!
WWWHAAMMMM!
Kirby: AAHHHHHH!
Koops: NNOOOOOOOOOO!
Rosemary: YAAAAHHHHHHH!
Mario: MAMAMIAAAAAAA!

Koops: Fire Shell!
Goomboss: I don't think so!
Goomboss moved out of the way, causing Koops to hit Mario.
Rosemary: Confusion Light!
Rosemary released a light that blinded Goomboss and caused him to have double vision.
Goomboss: Woah... Why do I see two of you? Which one of you is real?
Mario grabbed the Chinese coin and used it to brighten the light, stunning Goomboss even further. Then he kicked Goomboss in the mouth. Finally, Rosemary released an electrical blast from her scope gun, but the blast was caught by Mario.
Rosemary: What did you do that for?
Mario: I am going to make an energy ball.
Mario lit his hand with a red flame, and combined it with Rosemary's electric blast. Luigi did the same with his Thunderhand. Kirby added a bomb to the energy ball. Koops then added energy from his Ice Shell move. The result was a bomb encased in a white energy.
Mario: Hey, Goomboss!
Goomboss: ARRGHH!
Mario: Hiyya!
Mario tossed the bomb at Goomboss. The result? An explosion that consumed Goomboss.
Goomboss: ...
Mario: He's dead.
Koops grabbed the green Sacred Star and gave it to Mario.
Mario: That's four. Wait... Kirby, are you going to join my party?
Kirby: Piyo! (Sure! Why not?)
Luigi: OK!
~Kirby of Dream Land has joined the party~
Mario: We need to go.
Mario, Koops, Luigi, Rosemary, and the newly added Kirby walked out of the sanctum, not aware that Bowser Jr. was watching them...
Bowser Jr: Papa, they have taken down Goomboss, took the green Sacred Star, and are getting close to Bleck.
Bowser: I need to warn Bleck.
At Count Bleck's castle, Bleck was sitting down in his chair. Then, he heard a beeping noise. It was coming from his computer. He went over to it, checked his Email messages, and found a new one from Bowser. He checked it. It says:
Bleck,
You know Goomboss, the one you hired to guard the green Sacred Star? Well, he was recently taken down. The people who took him down were: Mario, my worst enemy; Luigi, his brother; Koops, his ally; a pink puffball named Kirby; and a Toad/Human/Mecha Angel hybrid named Rosemary. My youngest, Junior, told me this, and they also took the Sacred Star. Now, they are going after you. If they do so, they will take Sapphire, your princess, and defeat you. Use your minions and make good use of them, otherwise you will end up like Wart, Wario, and Grodus.

Bleck: BLEH HEH HEH HEH HEH! BLECK! They think they can stop me, Count Bleck? Setting up those traps may stop them! Sapphire will be mine!
Meanwhile at Amy's home, Amy was sitting down near a window. Suddenly there was a tremor. Amy saw a black void in the sky.
Amy: This is so not good.
Back to Mario and Co, they had just gone through all of the places and finally reached Rainbow Road.
Mario: Where are we?
Koops: I guess this is Rainbow Road. Let's go.
The quintet traveled across the road. Partway through...
Kirby: Piyo!
Mario: What's this?
It's was a Sneakster (a bike from Mario Kart Wii). There was a note. It read, To Mario
Mario: There's-a no signature... I'll take it.
Mario went on the Sneakster and drove off.
Luigi: I wonder why he needs the Sneakster.
Luigi saw a pair of roller skates. There's a note that read, To Luigi
Luigi: I'll take it.
Luigi took his shoes off and put the skates on. He went off. Koops grabbed a P-Wing, and Kirby grabbed a panel on it and became Jet Kirby. The rest of the party took off. Mario saw a huge jump, followed by a gap.
Mario: Now I understand why I need the Sneakster.
Mario jumped off and landed on the other side. They were progressing well at first, but near the end...
???: You reached the end of the line!
Suddenly, a Boo with a crown appeared.
Mario: What...! King Boo!
King Boo: Bowser ordered me to stop you five!
Mario: Not again! FIREBALL!
Fling! Whoosh!
Mario: Wha?
King Boo: I can become invisible. Spike Bomb!

Rosemary: OOOOWWWWWW!
Koops: Shell Slam!

The Mini Boos started swarming Mario and Co.

King Boo: AGH! Darn. Aqua Ray!
King Boo shot a water ray at Rosemary and into the gap in the armor that Wendy made earlier. The water soaked into the cybernetics, causing Rosemary pain and she cried out. King Boo continued to shoot water until Mario shot a fireball at him.
Koops: Dizzy Shell!
Whoosh... POW!
King Boo: AAAQAAGGGGHHhhhhhhh...
Mario: Fire Spiral!
Instead of jumping into the air, Mario shot a large fireball at King Boo.
Mario: Heh, I lied.
Luigi: Thunder Spiral!
Luigi jumped and did everything similar to the Fire Spiral, except that there was electricity instead of fire.
Kirby: Piyo!
Kirby swallowed a Boo and became Boo Kirby.
Kirby: Piyo!
Kirby released a shriek that scared the Boos. Then he became invisible and released an ice needle on King Boo.
Koops: Power Shell!
King Boo: Roulette Spin!
WHIRL!
Koops: Woah-

Mario: AAAAAAIIE!
Rosemary: Double Lightning Bolt!
ZAP-POW! Zap-POW!

King Boo: Spike Bomb!

Koops: AAACCKKK!
Mario: Fire Storm!

Mario: FIRE BLAST!

Mario: It's over. FIRE SPIRAL! For real this time!

King Boo: AARRRRRGGGGGgggghhhhhh...!
Rosemary: Meteor Shower!
Rosemary summoned a group of meteors that destroyed King Boo.
Mario: That takes-a care of him.
The sky was now black and purple. Mario and Co. reached the end of Rainbow Road. Kirby went back to his normal self, Mario got off the Sneakster, Luigi took his skates off and put back on his regular shoes, and Koops took off his cape.
Luigi: Where are we?
Koops: Look!
Koops pointed at a castle up ahead. This castle was black with a couple of dark lines on it. This was Count Bleck's castle. A rock was blocking the entrance.
Luigi: ... How are we gonna get in now?
Kirby: Piyo. (Don't ask me.)
Mario: I don't know.
Koops: Beats me.
Rosemary: Allow me.
Rosemary moved towards the rock. She grabbed the rock, and tossed it up in the air.
Luigi: How did you do that?
Rosemary: Some of the pieces give me superhuman strength.
Mario: Uh, Koops? Look up...
The rock that Rosemary tossed earlier started falling down on Koops.
Koops: Uh oh...
Mario: Firebrand!
Fwwwoooommmmm!
Mario: Darn it! It's not working!
Luigi: Thunderhand!
Zaaaapppppp!
Luigi: No use!
Rosemary's laser scope rose from the armor, and instead off launching a beam, it launch a Bullet Bill. Kirby swallowed the Bullet Bill, becoming Bullet Kirby. He rammed into the rock, shattering it. The rock bits flew everywhere.
Mario: Ahh!
Luigi: Let's-a go!
Mario and Co. went inside the castle. But then...
Koopatrol: You five must be the ones Bowser and Bleck were talking about!
CRACK! Rosemary knocked the Koopatrol out.
Mario: (Not a chance.) Let's roll.
The Mario Bros. and their allies advanced, facing many traps from before, but then, they ran into a new kind of trap.
Koops: What is that?
There was a crusher up ahead with spikes to add to the lethalness.
Rosemary: That is not good.
Mario: Avoid the crusher.
Mario jumped and timed his moves to get across. Rosemary teleported far enough to reach the other side. Luigi managed to get across when the crusher was up. Kirby went across when the crusher was about to come down. It came down on him but flattened himself and was in an area between the spikes. After this, he progressed. Koops was sweating and was scared. He progressed very carefully. Just before he reached the end, the crusher was about to come down. He started screaming.
Mario: Come on, Koops!
Luigi: You can do it!
Kirby: Piyo!
Rosemary: You are almost there!
Koops: AHHHHHH! AHH!
Koops ran at the last second.
Mario: You-a nearly got crushed.
Luigi: But you managed-a to get away.
Mario: Come on.
After defeating all of Count Bleck's minions and getting past many puzzles and traps, Mario and Co. reached Bleck's sanctum.
Mario: This is it.
Mario kicked the door. Bleck saw this.
Count Bleck: What! How did you...
Mario: We are here to stop you.
Bleck: BLEH HEH HEH HEH HEH! BLECK! Think you can?
Mario: Yes, I can. FIREBALL!
FLING! BOOM!
Bleck: AAAAAAAIIIIIIIEEEEEEE! Ahahahahahaha! Is that the best you can do?
Luigi: Wait. Bleck doesn't laugh like that... It's-
Mario threw a fire beam at Bleck.
Luigi: Dimentio!
Dimentio: That's right! Why would Count Bleck turn to darkness again? He's with Lady Timpani!
Koops: You are not going to get away with this! POWER SHELL!
Whooshwhooshwhoosh... SLAM!
Dimentio: AACCCCKKKK!
Dimentio released 5 magic balls at each of the quintet. They were all hit. Mario grabbed Dimentio and burned him. Then, he used the Chinese coin to create an explosion to harm Dimentio further. Luigi tried to punch Dimentio but he dodged. Then Dimentio zapped Koops with a lightning bolt.
Kirby: Piyo!
SMACK! SLAM!
Dimentio: Oof! Agh!
Rosemary: Time to do this.
Rosemary sprouted wings from her back and a golden aura surrounded her. The gap in her armor closed. Her eyes also turned amber.
Rosemary: Light Halo!
Rosemary released a halo from her body and used it to encased Dimentio.
Mario: Fireball!
Fling! Tink.
Dimentio: Ha, your attack failed like a shark that missed its prey! Clone Party!
Dimentio created clones but failed to get out of the halo.
Dimentio: Clones! Destroy them!
The clones started to punish Mario and Co. Luigi was repeatedly getting zapped by Dimentio's clones. Mario was knocked down by the clones. The clones were also tossing Kirby around. Koops was rapidly assaulted by the clones. Rosemary, however, was fighting off the clones due to her powerful Mecha Angel form. After fighting off the clones, she took down the clones that were knocking down Mario.
Mario: Thanks. Fire Wave!

Luigi: Thunderhand!

Rosemary: Ice Flash!

Dimentio: UUURRGGGHHH! Cold...

Dimentio: AACCKKKK! Dimention Skip!
Dimentio used his magic to transport everyone into Dimension D.
Dimentio: Ahahahahaahah! I can move so fast in this dimension that you can't stop me! Ahahahahahahaha!

Mario: AGH!

Kirby: OOF!

Luigi: ACK!
POW!
Koops: URGH!
POW!
Rosemary: OWW!

Dimentio: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! GIVE UP NOW! ALL OF YOU!
Mario: I had... enough of... you...
Just then, the Chinese coin lit up to blind Dimentio. It was trying to distract Dimentio so Mario could grab one of the Sacred Stars.
Dimentio: AAAGGHHHHHH!
Mario quickly grabbed the yellow Sacred Star.
Mario: POWER SHINE!
Mario and Co, now covered in a golden aura (though Rosemary was already in a golden aura), felt more powerful.
Mario: FIRE SPIRAL!
Jump... WHOOSHWHOOSHWHOOSHWHOOSH! POW! FFWWWOOOMMMM!
Dimentio: WWWWARGHHHH! HOT! HOT! HOT! HO-
Koops: SHELL SLAM!
Whooshwhooshwhoosh... PPPPOOOOOWWWWWW!
Dimentio: HOTHOT-UUUUUGGGHHHHHH! I AM DONE WITH ALL OF YOU! MAGIC ENERGY ASSAULT!
Rosemary: Electric Whip!

Dimentio: BLAGIDIBLAGIDIBLAGIDIAAGGG!
Luigi: ULTRA THUNDERHAND!

Kirby grabbed a fire panel and became Fire Kirby.

Mario grabbed the red Sacred Star and used it to burn Dimentio badly.
Mario: Now, it is time for-a you to go back to where you came from, the Underwhere.
Mario saw a nearby fireplace. Mario grabbed Dimentio and punched him into the fire. Dimentio shrieked and screamed as he caught fire.
Mario: That is just the beginning.
He walked away.
Luigi: Where is the princess?
Suddenly, the Chinese coin started glowing and showed a heart.
Mario: The princess must-a be nearby.
???: Who's there? Can someone untie me?
Mario turned to see a princess with a sky-blue dress. She also had blue hair. Mario untied her.
Mario: Are you...
???: Sapphire, Princess of the Rainbow Kingdom.
Luigi: Oh.
Koops: We'll take you home.
Sapphire: Thanks for saving me.
Mario and Co. took Sapphire home to the Rainbow Kingdom with the help of Sapphire herself. After this, they went back to Mario's pad.
Mario: Four down, three to go.
Luigi: This adventure is half over.
Koops: But, it's not over ‘til it's over.
Kirby: Piyo.
Rosemary: Bowser must be stopped before it's too late.
Back in Dark Land...
Bowser: HOW! CAN! THEY! TAKE! AWAY! THE! PRINCESSES! AND! THE! STARS?!
Kamek: Master, calm down... We still have a chance to defeat Mario and his allies.
Bowser: You're right. I can still gain the power of dreams. But, Mario is ruining this... Just go.
Kamek: Yes, Master.
Kamek left.
Bowser: I got three of the Princesses and Stars in my possession, while Mario has four... I will murder him and his allies...
In Peach's cell, Peach was dreaming again. This dream was the continuation of the previous dream. She heard voices while she was knocked out. Those voices were talking about implanting some objects into her body. Peach, in her cell, started shaking. Then she woke up.
Peach: What was that dream? I don't know why, but I just keep feeling it will be real... Mario, please rescue me...
She went back to sleep.
