Chapter 5: Return to the Beanbean Kingdom
After defeating Grodus and Crump, as well as saving Éclair and Rosemary, the Mario Bros, Koops, and Rosemary, who joined their party, went back to Mario's pad. When they found out where to go next, they had to fight Wendy. After this, the quartet traveled through all of the places that Mario had went through before. They had to battle Goomboss for the green Sacred Star, and in the middle of fighting him, they met up with Kirby, a puffball from Dream Land. They also had to fight King Boo while traveling on Rainbow Road. After this, the Mario Bros, Koops, Kirby, and Rosemary managed to get past the traps, save Sapphire, princess of the Rainbow Kingdom, and defeat Dimentio, who was disguised as Count Bleck. How will Bowser and the remaining villains stop Mario and Co? Who created the Mecha Angels? What has become of the Dark Mecha Angel pieces?
At Bowser's castle, it was midnight. Peach was looking out of the window of her cell.
Peach: How did I get such a power to unlock the Halo of Dreams…?
Suddenly, there was a rustling noise.
Peach: Hm? Is someone there? Maybe it's just the wind…
She went to sleep. Then, there were voices.
???: We must kidnap her when the time is right.
???2: Now?
???: No. I said when the time is right.
???2: Oh... Let's go.
Meanwhile, at Cackletta's castle at the same time of the day, Cackletta was talking with Bowser through a computer.
Cackletta: So, Mario and Co are taking down our allies?
Bowser: Yes, because we only got three Princesses and Sacred Stars in our possession, while Mario has four. I need you to set up some measures before Mario and his allies get here.
Cackletta: Yes, Bowser.
Bowser: Oh, and do you have one of the dark spirits?
Cackletta: Yes, the all-powerful, thousand-year-old, Shadow Queen!
Bowser: Good. I would recommend that you use the Shadow Queen, so that she can possess the Princess that you are holding.
Cackletta: Eyahahahaha! Will do!
Bowser: Leave.
The monitor turned off.
Cackletta: Eyahahahahahaha! Soon, when I resurrect the Shadow Queen, little Rosalina will be mine!
Rosalina was tied to a chair.
Rosalina: Let me go! Now!
Cackletta: Shut it. Soon, when I resurrect the Shadow Queen's spirit, she will possess you! EYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Rosalina: No... It can't be...
A Luma was looking through the window, and saw that Cackletta was holding Rosalina captive.
Luma: Mama....
Back with Mario and Co, they were sleeping at Mario's pad. Mario was sleeping on the top bunk, while Luigi was sleeping on the bottom. Kirby was sleeping with Mario, Koops was sleeping on a couch in the living room, and Rosemary was sleeping on a bed right next to Luigi's. Some of the armor on her body was removable, on her feet and right hand. They had been removed, revealing her right hand and feet. Most of them were still, but Koops started shaking. In his dream, Koops saw an explosion consuming his town and learned that Koopie Koo had died in the explosion and sobbed. Elsewhere, Luigi started shaking too. In his dream, he was traveling through space when he heard a loud explosion and saw a black hole pulling him in. Next, Kirby started shaking. In his dream, he saw Marx taking over Dream Land. Then, Mark shot Kirby with an energy ball that consumed him. Then, Rosemary shook too. In her dream, she was traveling across Dry Dry Desert, when an energy ball destroyed her body. The pieces of her cybernetic body were scattered everywhere. Finally, Mario started shaking. In his dream, Mario saw Bowser unlocking the Halo of Dream and using its power to takeover the world. Then, Bowser released an explosion on Mario. All five of them woke up with a scream. After this, Rosemary switched to the night visor to see better in the dark, Mario lit his hand with a small flame.
Luigi: What… was.... that?
Koops: I had a bad dream...
Mario: Me too.
Kirby: Piyo.
Rosemary: All of us did.
Mario took a slow breath and Rosemary rubbed her hand on her Mushroom cap.
Koops: My dream was about an explosion destroying my town. It killed Koopie Koo.
Luigi: If you think that was bad, then I had a dream in which I was traveling in space, then a black hole formed and sucked me in.
Kirby: Piyo. (Not as bad as my dream. My dream was about Marx taking over Dream Land. Suddenly, he shot me with an energy ball.)
Rosemary: I know, Kirby. My dream was about me walking across Dry Dry Desert, and then suddenly, I was hit by an energy ball. Pieces of my body were scattered across the desert.
Mario: Well, my dream was the worst and might come true. My dream was about Bowser unlocking the Halo of Dream with the Princesses’ energies as well as that of the Sacred Stars. Then, he released an explosion on me.
Luigi: ...?
Rosemary: ...
Koops: ?
Kirby: ...
Mario: ..? ...! Bowser....
Luigi: He's doing this...
Kirby: Piyo...
Koops: We need to stop him!
Rosemary: But, where shall we go?
Mario opened up the book, and partway through flipping the pages, the book lifted away, and flipped to the map. A light shined on the map. It was blue this time and was shining on a castle resembling Bowser's only different. Meanwhile Rosemary was reattaching her removable armor.
Mario: (Now, I must go after Cackletta. I don't know what else what she will be doing to the Princess, other than extracting her energy. I guess this Princess is Rosalina...)
Luigi: That is where we will be going.
Koops: There is some chance that Bowser might have full power. Let's hope he doesn't get that chance.
Mario and Co. left Mario's pad. However, Bowser Jr. was watching them....
Bowser Jr: Mario and his allies are going after Cackletta.
Bowser: Send Morton to stop them.
As Mario and Co. started walking, they heard a noise.
???: Yoshi! Yoshi! Yoshi!
Luigi: Who's there?
Mario: I know that voice... It's-
Suddenly, Yoshi appeared from a tree.
Yoshi: Yoshi!
Mario: Yoshi?
Yoshi: Can Yoshi help Mario?
Mario: Yes.
Yoshi: YAY!
Luigi: Shhhh! Not so loud! We might wake someone up.
Mario: Or maybe, one of the Koopalings are watching us... Either way, let's-a-go.
Mario, Koops, Luigi, Rosemary, Kirby, and the newly added Yoshi traveled quietly through the Mushroom Kingdom and to Cackletta's castle. But, there was another quiet force coming from behind....
Bowser Jr: They are going after Cackletta.
Bowser: Remember to send Morton at the right time.
After traveling out of the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario saw a gray color in the eastern part of the sky. Dawn was approaching.
Mario: It must be morning. We need to go over to Stardust Fields. That is the border between this kingdom and the Beanbean Kingdom.
Suddenly, there was a faint hissing noise.
Mario: ? What-a is that noise?
Luigi: Eh?
Koops: Hm?
Yoshi: Huh?
Kirby: Piyo?
Rosemary: Maybe I can check.
Rosemary revealed a radar on her left wrist. The radar, however, was jammed.
Mario: Why is it jammed?
Rosemary: Something must be causing a scramble... But, what?
Mario noticed that the hissing was getting louder each second. Mario turned to see a blue shell coming towards them.
Mario: OH NO-
BBBBOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!
Mario: MAMAMIAAAAAAaaaaaa.....
Luigi: WWWWAAAAAAAAhhhhhhh......
Koops: NNNOOOOOOOOOooooo......
Yoshi: AAAAAAAAAGGHGHHhhhh......
Kirby: AAAAAACCCCCCCCKkkkkk.....
Rosemary: YYYYAAAAAAAhhhhhh.....
Ding! All six had been sent into the horizon.
Bowser Jr: Haha! I got them!
Meanwhile, at Stardust Fields....
Border Bro 1: Well, another everyday job of keeping the border safe.
Border Bro 2: Yeah. I plan to.... Hey, what was that?
The Border Bros. saw not two, but six flying figures in the sky. They were heading right towards them. They landed hard on the ground.
THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD!
Mario: OOOOOOWWWWWWWW! Ow...
Border Bros: Who are you guys?
Border Bro 1: Wait... Are you Mario?
Mario: Yes.
Border Bro 1: And this is Mr. Other Mario Bro?
Luigi: It's Luigi.
Border Bro 2: Who are these people?
Kirby: Kirby!
Yoshi: Me Yoshi!
Koops: Name's Koops.
Rosemary: I'm Rosemary.
Border Bro 1: If you six want to get to the Beanbean Kingdom, you will have to do our challenge. What do you say?
Mario: Deal.
A minute later, the Border Bros. came back with a long rope.
Border Bro 2: Just remember, if any of you gets hit by the rope three times, you lose. If you manage to avoid getting hit three times, you win.
Mario and Co. lined up in a straight line. The Border Bros. moved towards them. All of Mario and Co. managed to jump and avoid the rope.
Border Bro 1: It gets faster!
The Border Bros. went faster than before, but Mario and Co. still jumped on time. On the third time, Luigi tripped on the rope. As the rope moved back to Mario and Co, Luigi tried to jumped, but it was Mario who tripped. Yoshi barely avoided the rope.
Border Bros: Here we go!
Then the Border Bros. suddenly went so fast that everyone tripped.
Border Bro 1: Woah, if either Mario or Luigi trips one more time, you lose!
The Border Bros. went faster. Mario and Luigi jumped. Kirby mistimed his jump and tripped. Rosemary jumped but landed on the rope. Koops jumped too late and tripped on the rope.
Border Bro 2: One more time!
The Border Bros. went at their fastest speed, so fast that a dust cloud built up. After the dust cloud cleared....
Border Bros: You win! You can pass.
Mario and Co. moved into the Beanbean Kingdom. This place looked peaceful, but something was lurking to attack. One of the Beans went up to Mario and Co.
Bean: Are you Mario?
Mario: Yes.
Bean: I need you and the others to come with me.
Mario: What do you-a want?
Bean: You'll see.
Mario and Co. followed the Bean to his house.
Bean: I heard that you are trying to stop Bowser from ruling Plit with nightmares. Are you here for the Princess and one of the Sacred Stars?
Mario: I am.
Bean: Let me see the Sacred Stars you have so far.
Mario pulled out the Sacred Stars.
Bean: Have you tried out their powers?
Mario: All except the green one.
Bean: I will spawn enemies to try that power out.
The Bean directed Mario and Co. to an open field. There was a crate in the field. Mario smashed the crate open with his hammer. Inside the crate were Troopeas.
Luigi: How are we supposed to take care of them?
Suddenly, the green Sacred Star started glowing. This Sacred Star was giving Mario a new move, "Forest of Illusion".
Mario: Here goes nothing... FOREST OF ILLUSION!
Suddenly, a green glow surrounded the Troopeas. They started to see illusions, making it harder to go after Mario and Co. Mario struck down the Troopeas.
Luigi: Cool.
Suddenly, there was an explosion.
Bean: Oh no, the town is under attack!
Mario and Co. rushed into the town to see the place wrecked. There they saw a Bean with a headgear and cape. It was....
Fawful: I HAVE FURY!
Mario: WHAT THE.... Not him again! FAWFUL!
Fawful: Well, well, well, if it isn't Mario and his pack of fink-rats! You think you can stop me? I'm not alone! I also have somebody to help get rid of the salt of my sandwich of victory!
Luigi also saw a Koopa with a star on one of the eyes, who had brown skin and a gray shell. It was...
Luigi: MORTON!
Morton: Hello, hola, ni hao, Mario.
Kirby: PIYO!
Koops: You are not going to get away with this, Fawful!
Mario: Luigi! Yoshi! Kirby! Go after Fawful!
Luigi: Okie dokie!
Yoshi: Ok!
Kirby: Piyo!
The three went after Fawful.
Mario: Rosemary! Koops! Come with me! Let's take Morton down!
Morton: I will defeat, subdue, eliminate, thrash, kill, destroy-
Mario: AAARRRRRGHHHHHH! STOP! Fireball!
Fling! BAM!
Morton: YOOWWW!
Koops: Shell Toss!
Morton: Ground Pound!
SSSLLLAAMM!
Koops: MMMMMMMMM!
Mario: Morton, this-a time, you and your father have gone too far!
Morton: Oh yeah?
CHOMP!
Rosemary: AAAAGGHHHH!
Mario: Ice Flower! Ice Spiral!
Jump... WhooshwhoooshwhooshWHOOSHWHOOSH... POW! CHINK!
Morton: WWAARRGHH! Cold, chilly, freezing....
Koops: *GASP!* Oh man....
Rosemary: I have to try something different...
Rosemary revealed a pack of needles on her upper left shoulder. She shot the needles at Morton, causing him to fall asleep. Koops then rammed into him with Power Shell. Mario followed it up with multiple jumps to the head. However, that caused Morton to wake up.
Morton: AAAIIEEEEE!
Morton slashed Mario in the stomach with his claws. Mario saw three cuts on him, but only the cut in the middle was bleeding. Then Morton ripped Rosemary's left arm off. There were wires exposed, but there was also a liquid leaking as well. Koops grabbed Morton and held him down. Mario grabbed Morton and slammed his head against the window of a shop.
Mario: MORTON! Where is-a Rosalina? Where is Cackletta?
Morton: I will tell you nothing...
SLAM! Crack!
Mario: WHERE ARE THEY?!
Morton: EARTH-SHATTERING GROUND POUND!
SSSLLLAAAMMMMM!
Mario: Woah! Flaming Fist!
POW PUNCH! FFWWWOOOMM!
Morton: OOOWWW!
POW!
Morton: AARGHHH!
BIFF!
Morton: YYYAAAAGHHHH!
Rosemary had shot a blast from her laser scope at Morton.
Morton: Poison Bite!
Koops: FIRE SHELL!
Whoosh.... POW! FFWWOOMMM!
Morton: WWAAAAARRGGHHH!
Mario: WHERE ARE THEY?!
SLAM!
Morton: AAARGGHHH! Ok... They are at Cackletta's castle....
Mario: FLAMING FIST!
PPPOWW! FFFWWOOOM!
Morton: WWWWAARGGHH!
Rosemary: Light Beam!
ZZZAAPPPPP!
Morton: UUURRGGHHHH!
Koops: SHELL SLAM!

Mario: Here we go…

Morton: ....
Mario retrieved Rosemary's severed arm, and both Mario and Rosemary managed to reattach the arm as well as reconnect the tube that was holding a liquid.
Mario: What was that liquid?
Rosemary: That is artificial blood.
Meanwhile, Luigi, Kirby, and Yoshi were fighting Fawful..
Fawful: You fink-rats are dead! Witness the mustard on your sandwich of DOOM!
Luigi: Thunder Choke!
GRAB! ZZAAAPP!
Fawful: BLAGIDIBLAGIDIBLAGIDIAAGGG! Can't... breathe... HEADGEAR!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Yoshi: WWWAHHHHH!
Kirby: AAAIIIIIIEEEE!
Luigi: YYYOOOOWWW!
Kirby: PIYO! (You are not going to get away with this!)
Kirby grabbed a hammer and slammed Fawful with it.
Fawful: You ruin the taste of my cake of victory, Kirby! Spark!
ZAP!
Yoshi: BlagidiblagidiAGGG!
Fawful: EYAHAHAHA!
SLAM!
Luigi: WWOOOAHHHH!
Fawful: BLAST!
Yoshi: Yoshi won't let you do Blast!
GRAB! GLUP! Yoshi swallowed Fawful and encased him in an egg. But then...
CRACK!
Fawful: FINK-RATS! I HAVE FURY! CHARGE!
SLAM!
Kirby: AAACCKKKK!
Fawful: NOW FOR YOU!
SLLL-GRAB!
Fawful: Put me down!
Luigi: You are going for a ride.
Luigi tossed Fawful into the window that Mario used to slam Morton with earlier, only this time it shattered. Kirby followed it with Final Cutter.
Fawful: Owwww... I!
Luigi: What the?
Fawful: HAVE! VENGENCE! BESERKER BLAST!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!
Luigi: AAAAHHHHHHHH!
Yoshi: NNNNNOOOOOOOO!
Kirby: WAOWAOWAOWOWAWOWAOWAOWAOWWWWWWW!
Fawful: EYAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Any last words?
Mario: I can say something about it!
POW!
Fawful: UURGGH!
Koops: Fire Shell!
SLAM! FFFOOOOOWWWMMMM!
Fawful: HOT HOT HOT HOT!
Rosemary: Let me try something else.....
ZZZAAAPPPPP! Rosemary released laser beams from her eyes.
Fawful: AAIIIIEEE!
Mario: FOREST OF ILLUSION!
A green light flashed on Fawful. Like the Troopeas, Fawful saw illusions.
Luigi: Mario! Hammer him!
Mario: Okie dokie!
SLAM!
Fawful: Accckkkk....
Kick!
Fawful: ....
Yoshi: Yoshi think Fawful is dead.
Mario: He is.
Luigi: We need to get going.
Mario and Co. walked away from Fawful and Morton's dead bodies. Bowser Jr. saw this. He was hiding behind a bush.
Bowser Jr: Papa, Morton and Fawful are down.
Bowser: $*&@! Warn me if they get close to Cackletta.
Back to Mario and Co....
Mario: Wow, Morton was tough, but at least he was not as aggressive as Roy or Wendy.
Luigi: Wait, what is that?
Luigi pointed toward a building on an island. This building had a smiling face on the front.
Mario: I think that is Woohoo Hooniversity.
Mario and Co. traveled to Woohoo Hooniversity. But when they got over there...
Mario: Oh my... This place is a mess! What happened here?
Suddenly a small, tear-shaped star came through a broken window.
Mario: It's a Luma.
Luma: Please, help me rescue Mama! She's been kidnapped by a wicked witch!
Mario: Cackletta....
Luma: That is not the worst. She will also be possessed by both a demon and the witch!
Mario: The Shadow Queen?
Luma: Yes.
Luigi: We need to go!!!
Kirby: Piyo!
Luma: Please, rescue Mama!
Mario and Co. tried to leave, but...
Koops: The door is locked.
Luigi: What is that switch up there?
Kirby: Piyo!
Yoshi: Yoshi thinks it's too high.
Rosemary: It's blocked…
Kirby jumped all the way up to the switch. He touched it. The ground shook with such force. The door collapsed, revealing a warp pipe. Mario and Co. jumped in. After that, they were in a cold place.
Mario: Well, this is Joke's End.
Mario saw a pathway divided into six directions.
Luigi: Looks like we need to split up.
Mario and Co. took six different directions. First, Mario....
Mario: Woah... This place is so cold...
Mario noticed a bridge up ahead, above a freezing cold lake.
Mario: That bridge doesn't look to sturdy. I'll have to take my chances.
Mario walked across the bridge. When he was near the end, Mario heard a loud cracking noise. The bridge was about to collapse.
Mario: MAMAMIA!
Mario ran away from the cracking bridge, as the bridge collapsed. When he reached the end, Mario saw a piece of a blue star.
Mario: What's this? I have-a never seen this star before...
Mario grabbed the piece.
Mario: How do I get out?
Mario saw a warp pipe. He jumped in.
Second, Luigi....
Luigi: Oh no...
Luigi saw slow-moving barrels. These barrels had spikes on them.
Luigi: Here I go.
Luigi moved slowly with the barrels, but then, there was a rumble. The barrels started moving faster.
Luigi: MAMAMIA!
Luigi screamed and ran out before the barrels crushed him. He saw a piece of a blue star at the end.
Luigi: Where have I seen this star before?
Luigi grabbed the piece and jumped into the warp pipe.
Third, Kirby...
Kirby: Piyo?
Kirby saw five crushers along with a shredder that could and would prove lethal if he went in.
Kirby: Piyo. (Looks like I am going have to take me chances.)
Kirby jumped over the shredder by puffing up. Kirby went past the first shredder easily. The second wasn't any different from the first. The third went slightly faster than the first two. Kirby was crushed by the crusher but it only flattened him because he is a puffball. The fourth went at the same speed as the third, and had spikes. Kirby went past the crusher. The fifth malfunctioned and went up and down fast. Kirby tried to get past but didn't have time to react. The crusher crushed him. Kirby was only flattened. Kirby saw a piece of a star after he got away from the crusher.
Kirby: Piyo.
Kirby grabbed the piece and went into the warp pipe.
Fourth, Koops...
Koops: What's this?
Koops was in a room of illusions where the mirrors were creating confusing reflections.
Koops: This won't be easy.
Koops went across the room, but he a hard time because of the illusions of the room. He managed to get across, however. He saw a piece of a blue star.
Koops: What is that star?
Koops grabbed the star and as soon as he grabbed it, he saw a girl. But, in a split second the girl was gone. Koops went into the warp pipe.
Koops: Who was that girl? One second, she was here. The next second, she was gone...
Fifth, Yoshi...
Yoshi: What's this?
Yoshi saw seven statues with their reflections in the mirrors. Ironically, the reflections did not match the statues.
Yoshi: Yoshi have to move statues.
Yoshi had a hard time moving the statues because of their heavy weight. He did, however, manage to move the statues to the right reflections. Suddenly, there was a light shining on the statues. This was followed by a low rumble that shook the whole room.
Yoshi: Woah!
Then a wall opened up to reveal a piece of a blue star. Yoshi grabbed the piece, but as soon as he did, he saw a girl. Yoshi jumped into the warp pipe.
Yoshi: Who was that?
Last, Rosemary...
Rosemary: What is that object up ahead?
Rosemary saw a piece of a star. She walked slowly towards it, but then...
SLAM!
Rosemary: Agh... What the?
Rosemary got back up. She switched to the x-ray visor. To her surprise, she saw invisible crushers guarding the piece. She managed to get past them. After this, she grabbed the piece. Then, she saw a girl. That was the same girl that Koops and Yoshi saw earlier.
Rosemary: Who was that?
Rosemary jumped into the warp pipe and popped back out. She saw Mario and the others.
Mario: What are those pieces?
Luigi: I don't know.
???: I can explain.
Mario turned around to see a girl. She had a white glowing dress. Her hair was white but didn't have any properties of an elderly person.
Koops: Wait, I have seen her before...
Luigi: Who are you?
???: My name is Elizabeth.
Koops: What are you doing here?
Elizabeth turned away before speaking.
Mario: ???
Elizabeth: I am the guardian of the Sacred Star. I protect the Sacred Star to prevent any evil from getting its hands on it. One day, however, a group of enemies came and raided the guarding place. They were working for a Koopa who is the leader of a Koopa Clan....
Mario: Bowser...
Elizabeth: I read about a prophecy and it said when the Sacred Stars are stolen and the Princesses of Heart are kidnapped, seven heroes will come to stop this madness. They are: two plumbers of the Mushroom Kingdom, the red plumber's dinosaur, a young Koopa of the village of flowers, a pink puffball from the land of dreams, a Human/Toad/Mecha Angel hybrid, and a star agent. I created the Mecha Angels to protect the Sacred Star, but one went rogue...
Mario: One thing, who is the star agent?
Luigi: I have never heard of a star agent...
Elizabeth: Never mind about that. The pieces that all of you are holding are the broken pieces of the blue Sacred Star.
Mario: Well?
Koops: Let's put the pieces back together.
Mario and Co. reunited the pieces and after a bright flash, there was the blue Sacred Star.
Mario: Woah.
Mario grabbed the Sacred Star.
Yoshi: We have blue Sacred Star.
Kirby: Piyo.
There was a faint explosion from the distance.
Mario: ?...! The town is under attack... again...
Luigi: Let's-a go!
Mario and Co. traveled back to the Beanbean Kingdom. When they got back from Joke's End, they saw Cackletta's army attacking the town. Mario and Co, however, managed to get rid of the enemies. After this, they traveled a long distance before reaching Cackletta's castle.
Mario: Here we go.
Mario and Co. traveled inside Cackletta's castle. There they fought many enemies and faced many traps- new ones, and especially those from Wario's, Wart's, and Count Bleck's castle and Grodus's base. After this, they reached the door to Cackletta's room.
Mario: Here we go!
Mario smashed the door with his hammer. Cackletta and Rosalina saw this.
Rosalina: Mario? Thank goodness you are here to save me!
Cackletta: Impossible! You six couldn't withstand my forces!
Mario: A Luma told me-a you and the Shadow were going to possess Rosalina's body. What do you have to say about that, hm? What are going to do?
Cackletta: Here's what I have to say! RISE, SHADOW QUEEN!
Suddenly, a coffin behind Cackletta opened, revealing the Shadow Queen. Then, the Shadow Queen went over Rosalina. Next, there was a flash, along with heavy shaking.
Cackletta: EYAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Rosalina: NNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!
Mario: I DON'T THINK-A THIS IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!!
Luigi: Wahhhhhhhhh!
Koops: Oh no!
Yoshi: Woah!

Mario, in his rage, maced Rosalina, who was possessed by the Shadow Queen.
Rosalina: *in tendom with the Shadow Queen's voice* You will pay for your insolence...

Rosalina: BLAGIDIBLAGIDIBLAGIDIBLAGIDI! Ztar Rain!
Shadow Rosalina summoned a couple of Ztars that damaged Mario and Co. Then she released a breath that poisoned Kirby.
Koops: Rosemary! Help me out!
While Koops was spinning, Rosemary used her magic to create a mirror image of his shell. Both Koops and his mirror shell shot at Rosalina at the same time, doing damage. Shadow Rosalina held Yoshi tightly, choking him.
Yoshi: AAhhhhh... Can't breathe...
Shadow Rosalina: You and your friends have no power against me.
Kirby: Piyo? (Oh yeah?)
Kirby swallowed Rosalina, then spat her out and into a wall. Rosemary grabbed Mario and rolled him into a ball. She tossed him at Luigi, and Luigi grabbed his hammer and knocked Mario towards Yoshi. Yoshi swallowed Mario and spat him out. Kirby hammered Mario towards Shadow Rosalina. While Mario was flying towards Shadow Rosalina, Koops went with him. They both rammed into her. Shortly after, Shadow Rosalina zapped Luigi and Kirby.
Yoshi: Time to do some egg-throwing!
Yoshi tossed some of his eggs at Shadow Rosalina, but only one managed to hit her.
Koops: Fire Shell!
Whoosh... POW! FFFWWOOOMMM!
Shadow Rosalina: Aaaarrrrggghh!

Rosemary released a shockwave as Mario knocked Shadow Rosalina down.
Shadow Rosalina: You will die today....

Mario grabbed Shadow Rosalina and bashed her head against a mirror. Mario saw a drop of blood on Shadow Rosalina's head. Then, he hammered her down. But Shadow Rosalina fought back. She sent some Dead Hands to drag Mario down. Although he was critically injured, Mario used a Fire Flower on Shadow Rosalina.
Luigi: Thunderhand!
Kirby: Piyo!
Koops: Ice Shell!
Yoshi: Fire Breath!
Rosemary: Light Beam!
Mario: GIANT FIREBALL!

Mario saw that the Sacred Stars had come out of his pocket. They formed a chain and launched a beam at Shadow Rosalina.
Mario: I have to pull.
Mario pulled hard on the chain of Sacred Stars, but it wasn't enough. Then, the others pulled with him. That was enough to separate Rosalina from the Shadow Queen.
Rosalina: ...? What... happened?
Luma: It's okay, Mama.
Luigi: You were possessed by the Shadow Queen.
Cackletta: NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO! THAT IS THE LAST STRAW! YOU WILL KNOW MY POWER!
Cackletta then fused her body with the Shadow Queen.
Cackletta: YOU WILL DIE NOW! Meteor Storm!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOOOOMMMMMM!

Cackletta summoned holes into which everyone fell.
Cackletta: SHADOW WAVE!
Cackletta summoned a dark wave that harmed everyone.

Yoshi: WWWAAAAHHHHHH!

Cackletta: EYAHAHAHAHA! This is the end for all of you!

Then, the Sacred Stars glowed with such brightness that Cackletta couldn't see. The Sacred Stars healed Mario and revived his fallen allies.
Cackletta: NNNNOOOOOOOO!!! I AM DONE WITH ALL OF YOU! YOU WILL DIE!
Mario: YOU ARE THE ONE WHO IS GOING TO REGRET THIS! FIREBALL!
Fling! Bam!
Cackletta: AAAAIIIEEE!
Rosemary: Poison Needles!
Rosemary launched a pack of needles from her left shoulder that poisoned Cackletta.
Luigi: Thunder Spiral!
Jump... WhooshwhooshWHOOSHWHOOSH... POW! ZZZZAAAPPPP!
Kirby: Piyo!
SMASH! POW!
Cackletta: WWWWAAAAAYYYYYAARGGGHHHH!
Yoshi: Ultimate Yoshi Egg!

Cackletta slowly disappeared into nothing, and as for the Shadow Queen, she disappeared too after a flash.
Mario: Well, they're gone. We'll take-a you home, Rosalina.
Luma: Thanks for saving Mama.
Rosalina: Thank you, all of you, for rescuing me.
Later, Mario and Co. took Rosalina back to her home, along with the Luma. Afterwards, they returned to Mario's house.
Mario: That was one rough time.
Luigi: Well, the adventure is almost over.
Yoshi: We will stop Bowser.
Kirby: Piyo.
Koops: 5 down, 2 up.
Rosemary: It's all in an adventure.
At Dark Land....
Bowser: WHAT THE?! THEY COULDN'T HAVE TAKEN DOWN CACKLETTA!
Larry: They have, King Dad. I can take them down for you.
Bowser: Good. Don't fail me.
Larry: Yes, King Dad.
Larry left.
Bowser: For DAD's sake, I must get the power of dreams... I need to do something about it...
In Peach's cell, Peach was once again sleeping. In her dream, she woke up. She didn't have control over her body for some reason. She saw a large figure. She couldn't see who it was, however. Peach woke up suddenly.
Peach: Who was that person? And, why don't I have control over myself? I don't know....
She went back to sleep.
