I
Larry Koopa I has ranked all of Mario World's enemies based on their
power.
Ranking | Enemy | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Bowser Koopa | The hardest of them all. He can throw Mechakoopas at you, bounce into you, crush you, make your jump space limited, and throw giant balls at you. And after he's done for a few seconds, he'll spray you down with raining flames. Six hits total. |
| Ludwig von Koopa | This guy has a variety of moves to pull off on Mario! He spits up to six flames of fire at you. Then, he spins at you crazily in his yellow, fast shell. And to top it off, he likes to pop up in surprise, landing in time to start the process over. The toughest of the Koopalings. |
| Fishin' Boo | Jeez! This guy is almost impossible to dodge. Only shown once or twice in SMW in the ghost house that he inhabits, he can be annoying! Jump low over those moving gaps, and hope your cape or flower isn't gone. He is invincible, too! |
| Rezznor | A pair of four triceratops. They spin in circular anti-clockwise motion and throw fireballs at you and to collapse the bridge. |
| Floating Mine | These seem easy because they only fall against Mario when falling in the Sunken Ship. Wrong! These guys are difficult to dodge, and hope they all don't rain down on you when your about to get the ? Orb. |
| Amazing Flying Hammer Brother | These guys can swoop down on you while throwing hammers every which way. |
| Torpedo Ted | Ack, this guy is hard. Oh, I mean these guys. Yes, that's right. They attack in numbers, and are invincible. Think swimming in Soda Lake is a breeze? Think again. |
| Sumo Brother | Alright, these guys are tough because the only way to get them is from underneath, and that is dangerous due to their fire. |
| Chargin' Chuck | Kind of hard, because they have a variety of attacks. They like sports and use the fundamentals of them as weapons. Baseball Chuck likes to throw many baseballs, which I consider the hardest. Football Chuck can be avoided, and the footballs can be stomped. Third is Jumpin' Jacks Chuck, which is hard to jump on. Soccer Chuck is easiet. |
| Volcano Lotus | Harder than the Fire Piranhas, try to dodge the fireballs. Makes it hard in some levels to pass. |
| Rip van Fish | Have a Fire Flower when approching! These guys don't stop following, and good luck losing them. |
| Lakitu | Try hard to avoid his treats. Dodge those annoying Spike Tops. |
| Spike Top | Don't attempt to fight these guys without a Star! The Lakitus make them ten times worse. |
| Magikoopa | A magic-weilding Koopa who can be hard at times. But, he can prove useful because he'll clear those yellow blocks so you can get past. |
| Grinder | A spinning saw, with no handle! These circular dangers can be hard to avoid, so approach with caution. They are fast, and invincible. |
| Urchin | Another patience taker. Take your time, or take your chances. |
| Bony Beetle | Same as Dry Bones, but a bit harder. They stop for a minute and protect themselves with spikes. Use the same method as with Dry Bones to defeat. |
| Bowser Statue | Kind of difficult, because when two or three of them fire together it will be hard to dodge. The gold statues can jump. |
| Big Boo (not boss) | Hard enough, but easy if you know what to do. Just lead him to fly a bit up, and then run under him, or bounce over him. There's always bound to be a little help with these guys. |
| Larry Koopa | Same as Iggy, but more difficult. Try to avoid the Podoboos and hope he'll fall the right way. |
| Wendy O. Koopa | Well, no candy rings, but how about two Podoboos and two doubles to make it harder? |
| Big Boo (boss) | Well, he's difficult because he is accompanied by three other Boos. |
| Fishbone | Invincible. They slightly hinder your progress, so be armed with patience. |
| Dry Bones | These guys are tough because they can be stomped on, but then they'll reassemble themselves quickly. If you're not paying attention, you're in for a suprise. Can only be killed with the cape. |
| Swooper | Try jumping on elevated platforms with these menaces. |
| Eerie | This ghost is fast! He moves in strange ways and can be difficult to avoid. |
| Boo Buddy | These guys are harmless if you know how to dodge them. Just look at them, and pass by. They have some strength in numbers and can prove difficult to dodge. |
| Thwomp | Not usually a challenge, but can be in some cases. Try Wendy's castle for instance! |
| Super Koopa | A little bit harder than your average Koopa. They fly, =sometimes in rows that are difficult to dodge. Some give off capes, if their cape glows. |
| Koopa Troopa | A bit hard, if there are many, and their shells can get confusing and hard to dodge. Really a formidable opponent in some cases. |
| Bonzai Bill | A little harder than Bullet Bill, but still hard enough. Jump good to overpower this over-sized maniac! |
| Bullet Bill | The guys are fast moving and tough in numbers. |
| Dino Torch | They can move a bit faster than Dino Rhino and are able to breathe fire. Watch out! |
| Chainsaw | Invincible. Dodge them easily with the cape. Without one, good luck. |
| Piranha Plant | These nasty plants will eat you up if you don't move quickly. |
| Porcupuffer | A spiny Cheep Cheep. Try to avoid him, or hit him with a fireball or cape. |
| Fuzzy | Not as hard as those Chainsaws. These critters circle those blocks in the secret flying Yoshi levels, and can prove difficult in packs. |
| Podoboo | Those usual flaming baddies who pop out of lava unexpected. |
| Rex | Dinosaur-type baddies with sharp teeth. Jump on them twice to defeat, or once with the spin jump. |
| Mechakoopa | Really easy. Just jump on them or avoid. Use them effectively. Beware: They come back to life! |
| Hothead | These guys are big, but are rarely seen. Just spin jump on them and go past them. Mostly found in Wendy's Castle. |
| Lemmy Koopa | Two doubles and one Lemmy. Not difficult, unless you can't tell them apart. If you can't, stop playing. Now. |
| Iggy Koopa | Well, he's not much of a challenge because there is nothing to dodge but him and his fireballs. It's cake. |
| Buzzy Beetle | A bit easier than those Koopa Troopas, they just walk about like them. When you encounter them on sloping hills, push down and you'll bowl them all over. |
| Thwimp | These guys fall uninvited, and like to jump in the same fashion each time. |
| Mega Mole | Invincible, just dodge or ride on top of them to access the next platform. |
| Monty Mole | A smaller version of Mega Mole, just dodge. Invicible. |
| Blurp | These are hazards because they flop out of water or swim left and right. |
| Pokey | Walking cactus with many parts. Bring a Yoshi! |
| Paratroopa | Jumping is the key. Easier than the Troopa. |
| Lil' Sparky | Smaller than Hotheads, they can be dodged the same way. |
| Ninji | Rarely seen, they jump up and down in one place. Easily defeated. |
| Wiggler | Not hard at all. They get faster and more aggrivated when jumped upon. |
| Bob-omb | He's small, and takes a while to fuse. He's easy enough. |
| Goomba | He's just there to get stomped on. |
| Dino Rhino | Just jump over them. They are slow and jump low. |
| Blargg | Easy to dodge. When on the skull raft, just jump over his head. |
| Roy Koopa | Ok, this guy is too easy. Why did they make him this easy anyway? Hit him three times quick and he'll be down before he climbs the wall. |
| Morton Koopa Jr. | He's ridiculous. Easier than Roy. |
