Although Mario always refer to Luigi as his big younger brother, Mario and Luigi are actually twins. They were delivered by the stork at the same time after being delayed by an adventure during which the Koopas tried to kidnap the future threats. Although they were born in the Mushroom Kingdom, the eventual plumbers were moved to Brooklyn in the Real World, where they would be able to grow up in safety. A life history was created for them, and to this day it is unknown who their true parents are.
The two boys had a hard life in Brooklyn, and this caused them to become athletic. When they grew up, they were too poor to go to college, so they started a plumbing business called the Mario Brothers. One day the plumbers were trying to unclog the drain of a fancy-looking bathtub. They unclogged the drain, only to get caught into a sudden whirlpool that pulled them down the drain. The bathtub was actually a warp that took them back to the Mushroom Kingdom.
Mario and Luigi emerged from the warp in the mist of a battle between Bowser and Princess Toadstool. Mario grabbed Bowser’s tail and threw him off a cliff, while Luigi carried the princess to safety. From then on, the Marios were heroes in a magical kingdom, and constantly saved the princess and the kingdom from harm. Despite the Koopas' strong army, clever tactics, and determination, the Mario's Brothers' smarts, strength, super powers, and luck have always allowed them to prevail.
Mario is probably the classic superhero. He is reserved, wise, and resourceful. Luigi has always received the younger brother's cut, always being shoved into the shadows. The result is that Luigi has come to feel resentful towards Mario, and less certain of his own abilities, but he can still be called upon in a crisis, such as when Mario was kidnapped by ghosts. Luigi still yearns to save a kingdom all by himself though.

The King is the real ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. He is very old, however, and does not do too much ruling. He is shrouded in mystery and as for his personality, all I can say is one thing: The King is very foolish.

Princess Peach Toadstool is the daughter of The King, and takes more control over the Mushroom Kingdom than he does. She is 5’7", and is called beautiful by her subjects. She was born in 1957. She is very nice and gentle, and it is too bad that she is always being kidnapped. Still, certain things take priority when you’re a Koopa.

of Being in the Dungeon: lots of dirt to grow in
Toad Fungi is a walking mushroom, the type of lifeform that flourishes the Mushroom Kingdom. He is only 2’5’’. He is third in command of the good forces. He is important to the Marios because he has helped them in the past in their missions against the Koopas by giving Mario many helpful gift items, and by giving them a good laugh. He gets a lot of the dirty work. When not helping in his own small way to save the kingdom, Toad makes sure that all the laws are followed... even though he can't do anything to force the Koopas to follow them.
"It is my goal to help Mario and Luigi in any small way that I can." --Toad Fungi

Yoshi Dino is a six-foot-tall green dinosaur who looks like a T Rex except that he has shorter, duller teeth. He has a long tongue that he uses to catch and eat food- and bad guys. He has helped Mario and Luigi in several quests against the Koopas by eating Mario and Luigi’s enemies. Yoshi also saved baby Mario from baby Bowser in an adventure that occurred when the Mario Brothers were being delivered to their parents. Yoshi is friendly, but does not know how to use pronouns.

Wooster is the head servant in Princess Toadstool’s castle. He is usually very humble, but he has an obsession with having things clean. He insists that everything must be spotless, and he will do anything in his power to make it that way. He has been known to try to clean beaches and to not allow the princess into her own castle when she is dirty.

Favorite Pastime:
stealing
Favorite Sport:
football
Favorite Video
Game: Wario Land 3 (of course the other Wario Land games aren't bad either)
Favorite School
Subject: Gym
Favorite Koopa
Minion: Croco
Favorite Part
of Being in the Dungeon: He always finds a way to weasel out of it
Wario is related to Mario, although it is unclear exactly how. The two are similar except that Wario is incredibly clever, and incredibly evil. He will do whatever he needs to in order to earn power over anything, or to acquire any kind of currency. His nose is bright red because of all the peppers he eats, but others take it as a sign that he can't be trusted, which is true enough because he will double-cross anyone. He is the only character in the Mario Universe that is regularly portrayed as being both a good guy and a bad guy. Therefore, he is one of the most interesting and dangerous characters there is.
"Give-a me that coin! Get away, it's-a mine! I'm-a wealthy! I'm-a well off! Hahahahahahah!" --Wario
Waluigi
Favorite Food:

Game: Yoshi's Story
Favorite School

Favorite Koopa
Minion: Goomba
Favorite Part
of Being in the Dungeon: Wario and Luigi can't hurt him anymore
Waluigi is Wario's brother. It is unknown if he and Wario are twins like Mario and Luigi are. Fortunately, just as Luigi is a shallower version of Mario, Waluigi is a shallower version of Wario - it would be crazy to have more than one character like Wario. Waluigi has no self-confidence, which is why he makes very few appearances and prefers quiet things like cards, languages, and easy enemies. He finally made an appearance in Mario Tennis because Luigi dragged him in for a whooping.
"Tennis? Sure, I guess I can play, but what's a racquet?" --Waluigi
Karma Koopa
Karma's different from the other characters here, thus the different bio format. You won't find her in any Mario game, cartoon, or comic, but you will set a lot of her in my Land. She is so popular that I have made her an official character. Every story I post must have Mario content, and now Karma can fill that requirement by herself. Just don't try to pass her off as official on any other site.
Karma, who was announced by a tourist of the same name, comes from Yoshi's Island, where she was separated from her parents after Mario ransacked the Island while trying to defeat the Koopas. She became very tough and determined, but she was always hindered by the fact that she is a Yoshi-Koopa hybrid, and therefore an outcast from all society.
Karma met Ludwig von Koopa, and when they met, they Met. Somehow they share a special bond. This bond required them to eventually marry, even though it is doubtful whether they love each other. Immediately Karma encountered hostility from Bowser, who did not want his son to marry a Yoshi. Bowser tried to execute Karma, but Ludwig, who knew he would die if his Met died, saved her just in time.
Since then, Karma has appeared in many adventures and has had as important a role as nearly any other character in my Land. She still lives with Ludwig, although her political affiliation is in question. She doesn't side with Bowser, so when war breaks out it is a tough decision for her to choose who to fight with.
Kamek Koopa

Favorite Video
Game: Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone (Harry uses only magic)
Favorite School
Subject: Magic
Favorite Koopa
Minion: Magikoopa (because he is one)
Favorite Part
of Being in the Dungeon: no dungeon can hold this magician
Kamek was the best magician in the Koopa Kingdom at the time of Bowser's birth, and was subsequently known as the head Magikoopa. Morton Sr. entrusted Kamek with teaching Bowser the ways of magic and with keeping him safe. Kamek did a good job of teaching Bowser, although Bowser rarely uses magic and could never be made to listen to rules. Unfortunately, Kamek failed in his duties of protecting Bowser. He tried to kidnap the baby Mario Brothers when he foresaw that they would become threats, but his efforts were in vain and baby Bowser ending up getting thwarted even though he had nothing to do with the mission. Baby Bowser was defeated a second time when Kamek drained his powers by turning Yoshi's Island into a storybook at his young master's request, and was subsequently unable to help in the conquest itself.
This wise Magikoopa was already old when Bowser and Mario were children, and has recently found it necessary to step down as head Magikoopa due to his faltering health. He is still one of Bowser's top advisers, however, and came out of retirement for a short spell a while back in order to help his then-grown king flood Yoshi's Island. It is also rumored that he has raced alongside Bowser for cash prizes and pride.
Although Kamek is a weak, cowardly fighter, he is one of the most loyal, most clever Koopas the kingdom has ever seen. His inevitable passing will be a great loss to Koopas everywhere.
"Hocus pocus hocus pocus hocus hocus pocus!" --Kamek (casting a complicated, powerful spell)
Kammy Koopa
Favorite Food:
angel food cake
Favorite Pastime:
designing stuff with blocks
Favorite Sport:
hockey (she's fast and can use her broom as a stick)
Favorite Video
Game: Paper Mario (thinks she looks good in that game)
Favorite School
Subject: Fashion
Favorite Koopa
Minion: Magikoopa
Favorite Part
of Being in the Dungeon: she can fill the cell with blocks
Although Kammy helped Bowser take the Star Rod in Paper Mario, her magical powers are nowhere near as vast or strong as Kamek's. Between this and the fact she is more interested in herself than the art of spellcasting or the Koopa Kingdom, she remains far less respected than Kamek was and still is. Nevertheless her spells are the strongest of all the currently-employed Magikoopas (a huge disappointment, really), and so she is head Magikoopa and Bowser's highest official advisor.
Kammy has mastered a wide variety of spells, including the ability to warp others at will and make objects appear out of midair. However, she most often uses a spell which creates an easily destroyed yellow block, and she is always fully surprised when a foe is able to best this trick. Unlike Kamek, who was never afraid to rebel when he believed Bowser's plans were doomed to fail, Kammy always follows orders unquestioningly, even going as far as to place a supposedly dangerous Mushroom in Mario's path at her king's command.
Though Kammy is actually physically weaker than most Magikoopas, she could be an excellent wizard if she would simply apply herself to her magical studies rather than to her mirror.
"I am a beautiful Koopa with a beautiful name, Kammy Koopa! Take this yellow block!" --Kammy Koopa
King Boo
Favorite Food:
ghosts don't eat
Favorite Pastime:
haunting, of course
Favorite Sport:
Boo Who (competitors try to scare the most people in a given amount of
time)
Favorite Video
Game: Luigi's Mansion (although he was defeated, he can't think of a game
with more ghosts in it than this one)
Favorite School
Subject: Religious Studies (which included discussion on the afterlife)
Favorite Koopa
Minion: Big Boo
Favorite Part
of Being in the Dungeon: he can float through the bars
A powerful ghost with a blue tongue, red crown, and mysterious past, King Boo captured Mario in order to extract revenge from him, although it is unclear what Mario did to him. It is rumored that King Boo used to be a regular Boo in Bowser's army who was defeated by Mario, or else punished by Bowser for failing to beat Mario, but this has not been confirmed. Although King Boo is definitely familiar with Bowser, he is not now a member of the Koopa Clan and did not intend to hand Mario over to the Koopas pending his success.
Right now King Boo is emprisoned in a picture in Professor E. Gadd's lab, but ghosts can't be killed and he'll probably escape to haunt again sooner or later.
"What are you doing out of your frame?! Oh, wait, you're only Luigi. For a minute I thought you were Mario, ha ha BOO!!!" --King Boo
Tatanga
Easily the most mysterious of all the characters in Lemmy's Bios, this alien from deep space planned to add Plit to his vast collection of planets, starting with Sarasaland. Despite his superior technology and intellect, Mario was able to defeat him. He reappeared while Mario and Wario were fighting over Mario Land, but was defeated again before he was even able to start another full-scale invasion. Tatanga has not been seen since his second defeat, but he is assumed alive and plotting revenge... or maybe he just gave up on Plit and is looking for another planet to conquer.
Princess Daisy Toadstool
Favorite Food:
oranges (refuses to eat peaches)
Favorite Pastime:
throwing darts at Peach (usually her picture)
Favorite Sport:
Wrestling (she's waiting to get Peach in the ring)
Favorite Video
Game: Mario Party 3
Favorite School
Subject: Diplomacy
Favorite Koopa
Minion: Bowser (for kidnapping Peach)
Favorite Part
of Being in the Dungeon: she knows Peach ends up in one more often than
her
Although a normally gentle princess, Tatanga's victim harbors a bitter grudge against her younger sister, Peach. Similar to Bowser and Wart, The King chose his younger child to take the throne, shoving Daisy over to the much smaller and lesser-known Sarasaland. Although it would be interesting, it is impossible to get an answer as to why The King selected his younger daughter since he rarely acknowledges the fact that he even has children.
In order to differentiate herself from her sister, Daisy has spent a lot of time working out. The result is that she has a strong, good-looking body. Unfortunately that is not the result Daisy desired, as she prefers to look threatening rather than pretty. Daisy has been bothered by the Koopas much less often than Peach because Sarasaland is far smaller than the Mushroom Kingdom, but she would trade thrones at the drop of a hat, or quicker.
"Stop staring at me! Why don't you stare at my loser of a sister over there?" --Daisy Toadstool
Smithy
Favorite Food:

Favorite Pastime:
making weapons
Favorite Sport:
Sudden Death (two fighters enter, at least one dies)
Favorite Video
Game: is still trying to find a Transformers game
Favorite School
Subject: didn't go to school as he was programmed
Favorite Koopa
Minion: Magikoopa (nearly defeated Mario and Bowser)
Favorite Part
of Being in the Dungeon: dungeons don't hold characters who can use Magma
An autonomic robot from another dimension, Smithy loves war and weapons and desired to use them to take over Plit. Although his weapons are many and powerful, he didn't have time to release many of them before Mario destroyed his factory, instead largely resorting to his evil influence to make the many creatures of Plit join him for the interrum. Mario put him out of commission when he destroyed the factory, but he is likely to be rebuilt sometime. Expect to see him back for round two, stronger than ever. As unlikely as it may seem, Mario and Bowser have already agreed to join forces again if Smithy or his cronies attack.
