Chapter Twenty-Seven: Fury
MARIO
I struggled as I pulled a dripping wet Lucy Eclair from the murky swamp water. She moaned. The water had gotten into her hair and mouth. She bent over and vomited. I rubbed her back soothingly, then offered my hand. I wiped her mouth with my sleeve, and kissed her. I held her close to my body and she hugged me back. I drew away from her lips, and helped her to her feet. She smiled at me and I smiled back. The sun shone brightly in the new day sky. It illuminated all that was seen before us. The grass swayed in the delicate breeze and dandelions were picked up and tossed about. It was as if the flowers were dancing, dancing in the new morning light...
Our clothes rustled in the breeze and I turned towards Lucy again. She was holding a small, delicate flower in her claw. She looked at the flower and played with its soft petals. She inhaled the enchanting aroma and blew. The flower blew into the air before the petals pried themselves from the flower and flew away, as free as the stars. Lucy sighed deeply. "It's beautiful," she said. I nodded my head in agreement. The sun shone down on us and we felt its warmth. From behind me I heard a soft whirring sound. I looked and saw a small robot, like the one we had encountered before. More came, hiding in the bushes.
I grit my teeth in anger. Someone was following us. Someone didn't want us to get where we needed to be. But who? My thoughts were interrupted as the robot shot a laser at us. I picked up Lucy and backflipped. Lucy screamed. In the air, I shot a pyro at the thing, which made it explode. More creatures attacked us as I landed on the ground. They flew into the air, propelled by unseen boosters. One landed next to me. I swung my hammer down but the robot blocked it and threw me into the ground. I growled and got up. Normally my hammer would've shattered that tin can, but presently my Star Hammer had been glowing less dimly and did not work as well as it once did.
The robot jumped into the air, trying to crush me with its metal staff. The others that were in the sky whirred. A large amount of missiles flew into the air and headed straight towards us. A great hole was blown in the ground, and I cried out in pain at the damage done. I jumped over the remaining explosions, carrying Lucy in my arms. I put her down and blocked her. I jumped into the sky, swinging my hammer ruthlessly at the robots. One was smacked and thrown several feet before exploding. I sliced one in half with my fire and kicked the remains to the ground. A third hit me in the back and I roared, kicking it into the sky. I jumped high, and cut its head off.
I breathed heavily as the remaining robots looked at me, staring me down. I shot fire at the nearest one, but it swerved to the side and started rushing at me. It shoulder-blocked me, knocking me several feet. I stood up and spat at the creature. I raised my hammer and hit the ground in front of it. It flew up into the air, where it was desintegrated by a ball of fire. The remaining robots looked at me suspiciously, with great care. I saw Lucy, and she was frightened. I had to get her out of here. I picked her up and dashed away from the robots, leaving a trail of smoke that blinded them. As I ran, I saw a red-cloaked figure standing there. "You have the stopping now!" A laser was fired, I saw pink, and I was encased in a large bubble, along with the Princess of the Waffle Kingdom. The figure turned and I gasped.
Fawful stood, grinning maniacally, in his red robes. He wore large, odd spectacles in front of his eyes, and a strange necklace. There was also something new about him. His robes had the symbol of a golden dragon on them. His face seemed darker than usual, and he had a skull-like scar on his left cheek. "Ahh... So good of you to join Fawful... He thought the two idiots of stupidity would not be here... but Fawful has falseness. I have bigger plans now... I plan to spread the tasty mustard of doom all over Plit! And then all will bow to Fawful, who will be laughing!" He laughed an evil laugh.
Lucy made a face and whispered, "Is this guy on drugs?"
I shook my head. "Nah, you'll get used to it."
Fawful continued his insane speech. "You... give me fury... I remember your face of punishment... how the punishment of harshness you delivered unto me... I long awaited the day when fury would rise inside my blood once more... LET ME TELL YOU THE STORY!!! Fawful has shyness. In front of his audience of smallness I shall tell the story with Fury. The Story of Fury!!! It is the story of overused running gags that stink like smelliness that lies in a stall of solitude!
"I was once a merchant of beans and of badges. The beans of tastiness that made me smile with the feeling of gayness and happiness!!! It was a smile of insanity, like he who has fallen into a pit of mad chickens. CHICKENS WITH FURY!!! I was minding my own business of myself, when soon I went broke without the coins of shininess and the customers of dumbness. Fawful was kicked out of his own fortress like a horse is kicked to move its behind of slowness. Fawful had fury... Fawful was forced to wonder the streets of loneliness and emptiness with the feeling of dread and fearness.
"Nobody was caring for a thing of pityfulness such as I, they thought of me as a piece of trash. TRASH THAT WAS STINKY AND SMELLY, AND LOOKED AS IF HE WAS PLAYING VIDEOGAMES IN THE DARKNESS FOR 12 STRAIGHT HOURS!!! Hours of great boredom... Then, there was one who helped Fawful's pittyfulness... He was a man of kindness that came to me like an angel of virtuness. But this angel had fury!!! He told of two that perturbed him like the thorns in your sideness that were red and green. Fawful had amazement. The man also had amazement when I told him our same goals of revengedness.
"The man formed an allegiance with me that day. An allegiance... of FURY!!! The man's name was Alkeron. His great power made me shiver with the feeling of scariness. There was also a woman. A woman of slimy, scaly fury who looked like the epitome of evil. She was like the boybands of hotness!!! FAWFUL HAD EXCITEMENT!!! He had found his home of comfort and his friends that were friendly like the very nice people who were friends.
"I! HAVE! FURY!!! You fools of dumbness make me laugh with hilarity. Fawful told you he would rise again... and rise with Fury he did!!! I HAVE FURY!!! Now is the time when you should be running with the quickness! But there is no time for that... NOW FACE YOUR DOOM!!! I SPIT ON YOUR PANTS!!! I LICK YOUR EARS!!! YOU WILL FALL WITH STINGYNESS!!!"
Mario gasped. "Did you say, Alkeron?"
Fawful chuckled. "You have curiousity... but Fawful tells nothing! He is not a villain who is like a boy who walks for the first time! Fawful is the grade of A villain!!! And now, fear your mustard! Your MUSTARD OF DOOM!!!" Fawful laughed insanely, and from behind him, a large humongous robo, styled like the others rose up. Its eyes flashed on and it raised its spear. Fortunately, Fawful had been talking so long that the prison that had been holding them had disappeared. Fawful hissed. "Grr... Fawful thinks that his speech of pointlessness was stupid..."
I grit my teeth. "Ya got that right!!!" We prepared for a massive battle.
Chapter Twenty-Eight: Newcomers
The dark forest rang out with shrill cries and other creatures of the night. It was odd. Although in other places it was morning, deep within the Forever Forest it was always night. The cold moonlit grounds were covered in thick fog that trailed for miles. The trees were gnarled, and crooked, and sometimes looked as though they were watching you. The reason for this was they probably were. They had wicked splits and cracks in them that looked like eyes and mouths. A faint red glow came from inside the hollow tree bark.
The mushrooms of this forest were also quite peculiar. They glowed with a strange, alien luster. Sometimes they flashed in strange hypnotic patterns that could supposedly trap you forever in there spell. Not to mention this forest was home to several deadly creatures. Deep within lay Piranha Plants, which would not hesitate to swallow you hole, or just take a big chunk out of you. There were also the bloodsucking Fuzzies that drained your energy. But the worst thing was that the forest was also home to the King of the Boos. Anyone who entered had this to fear. Although, at this very moment, two souls did just that.
The two shadowy figures walked through the fog. One was a large man. He had a heavy fur coat that went over his head, and his entire face was bandaged except for one eye. His hair was gray, and soaked with blood. His one visible eye was wild, like an animal's. His chest was bare, and slightly metallic, and his legs were large and muscular. His arms were composed of pure steel that glinted. On his back he carried a large sword that was bigger than him. It was made of steel, and had a strange hilt. It had a rubber handle on it and the hilt was a purple color with a brilliant gold dragon wrapped around it, as if sleeping. The man had a tanish skin.
There was also a taller woman. She was thin, and didn't have much clothes on, which was really quite disturbing due to the extent of her figure. She was dressed in aqua blue, and held a small fan in front of her face. On the end of the fan were sharp daggers. The woman's skin was tanish too, and she had sparkling blue eyes. Her clothes, what little she had, were designed in an Egyptian style. Her hair was long and golden, like the mane of a Lion. It swirled about her as if each individual strand was dancing joyously. She laughed. "Roku. You know our goals right?"
The man sighed. "Yeah, yeah, I know. The boss wants us to make sure he doesn't cause any trouble.
The woman purred and leaned in towards her companion. "Speaking of mischief..." The two kissed, hugged, and a manner of things I won't describe. When they had finished there little love fest, the two heard something in the darkness. The man tensed, and brought out his long, steel sword. He readied for any sign of danger. Out of the ground popped a Piranha Plant, its head swaying, tongue lolling and dripping with saliva. The spotted patterns on the beast looked so beautiful, but this creature was deadly. It disappeared underground, and the man cursed. There was a slight rumbling sound, and the plant popped up from under the ground. He swung his sword forward, severing the plant's head. It fell to the ground, and its green blood oozed over the ground. The man smiled.

Wario was fighting against the Mushroomer Boy, and winning so far. The boy held out his spear and growled. "Sorry, kid. Beating me isn't gunna be as easy as you thought it would be. Pity," Wario said.
The rambunctious teen smiled. "And it's not gunna be so easy to beat me," he said. The Mushroomer ran forward, and slashed at Wario with his spear. Wario jumped backward, and attempted to punch him in the face. The boy blocked it with his spear, and sent Wario flying across the room with a vicious blow.
Wario spat blood, getting up. "So that's how ya wanna play it, eh?" Wario ran towards him and cannonballed forwards. The child jumped over the assail. Wario jumped into the air and attempted a ground pound, but Chris easily dodged. Chris was behind him in a flash, and Wario gasped, amazed at his speed.
"Don't underestimate me, because I'm a kid." Wario was kicked in the stomach, and fell to the ground. He writhed in pain and got up slowly.
Struggling, Wario pulled out a piece of the ground and hurled it at him. Chris dodged and grinned. How he wanted to wipe the smile of that punk's face. Wario jumped into the air and bottomfisted the kid's head into the ground. The kid wiped his lip with his sleeve and got up. He faced Wario, eyes burning like hot coals. He twirled his spear and threw it at him. Wario jumped it, but it hit him in the back of the head coming back like a boomerang.
Wario growled and rushed forward, aiming a punch at Chris's head. He blocked it with the spear, but the wood shattered and broke, leaving the boy to be hit head on with Wario's super punch. Blood flew from his face, and the boy was shot across the arena and fell to the ground.
Everyone cheered as Wario helped the boy to his feet. "Hope I didn't hurt ya too bad, dude." Wario smiled.
The boy just grinned and wiped his bloody mouth with his sleeve. "Pleasure fightin' you, Wario," Chris said.
Wario shook hands, and then pumped his in the air, as everyone cheered some more. Then there was a loud knocking on the door. Time seemed to stand still as everyone watched the gates. They burst open, and two people came in, a man and a woman. Wario had never seen them before, but you will recognize them. The man in the large coat spoke from behind his bandages. "Hello everyone... We're here at last."
The host smiled broadly and shook hands. "Hello! You two are the last contestants in our tournament. Come in and enjoy yourselves. Let me show you around." The two people were introduced to all the others.
Then they came to Wario. "Hello, I'm Roku," Roku said.
"And I'm Sanzu," the woman said. Wario shook hands, and seemed to sense something evil resonating from inside them, but thought of it as his imagination.
"I'm Wario. Nice to meet you."
The two people then left to go to their quarters. Wario went back to his room, and sighed.
Chapter Twenty-Nine: Room For Two
LUDWIG
I felt my breath, raspy and tired, saw my chest, rising and falling. Rain poured down from above and my clawed toes sank into the mud beneath me. Karma was in my arms, looking at me with worry on her face. We had been trudging through the muck for a while now, rain pouring down, lightning flashing and thunder roaring in the background. Karma was shivering and she looked pale. I brought her to her feet, bent down, and closed my lips on hers, wrapping my arms and legs around her body, acting as a blanket for my lover. Her eyes slowly closed, and I pulled away from her lips. I looked in front of us, and we both gasped.
There was a large mansion that rose up into the sky, until fog covered it at the peek. The wood was gnarled and cracked. The place looked as though it had been deserted for years. Although the place looked creepy it was a place to sleep, and we needed it. I walked up the stairs and they creaked and groaned. I didn't like the sound of that, and this place creeped me out. I looked at Karma. This was for her. I walked up to the large, wooden door, and pushed it open. We walked into the main hall, seeing a rather awe-inspiring sight.
There was a large red carpet that covered the floor and went up the stairs as well. All around us there were paintings and pictures of nobody we knew. It was like right out of a horror movie. As I walked with her in my arms up the staircase, I looked at the design. It was odd. There was a strange symbol there. The symbol of a silver dragon.
There were a lot of stairs, and it was hard walking up each one with Karma in my arms. From the corner of my eye, I thought I saw pictures' eyes staring at me. I mentally slapped myself in the face, realizing my stupidity. I finally made it to the top of the stairs. There were two large suits of armor on either side of us, both of which had the symbol of the silver dragon on it.
I went over to a door and pushed it open. Inside was a large bedroom with an extra large bed. I lay Karma down on it and pulled the covers up to her neck. She smiled at me. Out of my shell I brought out a turkey leg I had snagged from the village that tried to kill us. I blew flames on it, then blew it out so that it would cool. I went down and sat next to her and gave her the turkey. She ate it gratefully and looked at me. I pulled out a candle from my shell and lit it. I then slowly lifted the covers and lay down on her. I wrapped my body around hers and kissed her lustfully.
Her face turned red and she sighed, letting the weight of my body push her into the bed slightly. I stroked her hair, and she played with my poofy blue hair. I gently caressed her green Yoshi tail and she giggled, caressing mine. We lay there for several hours kissing and whatnot, and then Karma got up from the bed. She turned towards me and smiled. "That was beautiful, Luddy. Would you... take a bath with me? I'm scared." I smiled and nodded sympathetically. We walked into the bathroom and she removed her shell. She didn't even mind I was there... She was beautiful. I kissed her one last time, and she stepped into the tub, closing the curtain behind her.
I waited as Karma bathed in the surprisingly warm water. It was a nice place, despite being extremely creepy. I breathed in and out, thinking over what had happened to me and Kar these last couple of days. The fight with Dad, us running away, all of it. I sighed. The lights suddenly turned off, and Karma screamed. When the lights turned back on I leaped over and tore open the shower curtains. Karma was gone. I gasped. Stepping into the bathtub, I wondered what could have happened to her. I felt the tub tilting then, before it capsized, sending me down several flights. I fell to the ground hard and the water dumped on top of me.
I looked around at where I was in the darkness. It was kind of hard to see. I saw a faint glowing in the next room. Blindly I fumbled for the door and found it. I was in a long hallway, where it trailed down until all I could see was a strange, blue fog... I saw the light coming from the room and I lowered my hand to the knob. I slowly opened it, hand shaking. The door creaked open and I found myself in a room of armor. They were tall, and as black as night, which made them kinda blend in with the surroundings.
I touched one, and rubbed my finger over it. A trail of dust was on my fingers, and I rubbed them together. Somehow, I had to find Karma. The arm of the knight flew down with the mace, crashing it into the floor. I jumped back, startled. The wood splintered and flew about the room. My face was blue and my teeth chattered, but then my face simply turned red from embarrassment. Hopefully there was nothing supernatural going on in this place.
~
Karma screamed as she plummeted and hit the ground hard. She got up, bruises covering her aching, bare body. She breathed mist and looked around her. She shivered intensely. She was in a large room full of ice cubes and other frozen things. The walls were blue, and frozen solid. Even was the floor. And at this thought, Karma fell on her bottom. She rubbed her sore behind and felt her teeth chattering. She had to get out of there before she froze to death, especially because she wasn't wearing a thing but the fur on her chest and belly, and that did not keep her warm here.
Using her hands, she slid over the icy surface, careful not to fall on her face. She slipped and fell again, cursing. She got up and finally made it off the icy floor and out of that freezing room. Now she was in a large room that had sewage pumping from a pipe. This was a very odd place. The walls were green and small windows were on the wall leading somewhere outside. The moldy floor brought an awful stench to Karma, and she wretched. Weakened, she slipped and lay on the floor, crying.
...Crying for who knows how long. She finally decided to get off the ground. She stumbled about before coming out of the door and into the hallway. She saw Ludwig and gasped. He looked at her and embraced his girlfriend and kissed her. Ludwig went back to their room, and the two of them fell asleep, tightly wrapped around each other, falling asleep in fear...
