(The episode opens to an underwater Atlantis-like city.

Mario: (in his mind) Plumber's Log, Number H2O. We were heading into deep danger down in Aqua Land. We'd come to fight Barra-Koopa, the most underhanded villain under the sea.

(Mario and Co are driving a bathtub submarine towards the city. Toad points up ahead.)

Toad: Hey gang, looks like trouble in swim city!

(A Mermushroom is swimming for her life to avoid a Blooper with a trident.)

Princess: It's a Mermushroom!

Toad: And she's bein' chased by a Blooper octopus!

Mario: Come on, let's that mangy monster to pick on someone his own size!

(The Blooper grabs the Mermushroom with one of his tentacles. Mario parks the submarine by the Blooper, and the four of them get out.)

Mario: Leave the Mermushroom alone, ya eight arm ugly face!

(The Blooper tosses the Mermushroom away.)

Blooper: Ah, go suck on a sewer pipe! I can take ya with seven arms tied behind me back!

(The Blooper lunges at Mario with his trident, but Mario swims out of the way, and Luigi fends him off with his plunger. The Blooper hits Mario with his trident. Luigi tries to hit the Blooper with his plunger, but the
Blooper shoves him off to a rock that his plunger gets stuck on. Luigi tugs on his plunger, flings it off of the wall, and it goes flying into the Blooper's face. Luigi's head ends up landing in a sea anemone, which gets stuck on his head. The Blooper hits the sea anemone, breaking it. He then tries to jab Luigi with his trident, but Luigi blocks his attack with his plunger. Mario sees an anchor which he twirls, and uses it to knock the Blooper away.)

Toad: Way to go Ma-ri-o!

(The Mermushroom swims out from behind a rock over to Mario and Co.)

Mermushroom: Thank you brave land dwellers for rescuing me!

Princess: Why was that obnoxious octopus chasing you?

Mermushroom: *cries* He works for Barra-Koopa! The evil reptile is kidnapping my people and turning them into slaves!

Princess: But where's your King Neptune, Lord of the Deep?

Mermushroom: Barra-Koopa's imprisoned him! Please, you've got to help my people and free our king!

Mario: That's why we're here! We'll knock that Koopa for a loopa!

(Cut to a nearby acropolis. Inside is Koopa, who's sitting on a throne, wearing a shirt made of fish scales, a seashell necklace, and a seashell on his head. With him is King Neptune, a fairly fat Mermushroom who's wearing a crown and a king's robe.)

Koopa: So, you're King Neptune, Lord of the Deep! *laugh* Now you're nothin' but a Koopa captive! With you as my prisoner, I'm free to spread my evil meanness all over Aqua Land! *laugh*

Neptune: Relax, Max! Swim with the current! Take a dip in the Ocean of Happiness! Life's too short to be a crab!

Koopa: What the Koop are you talkin' about?

Neptune: Have some fun, Jack! Get happy as a clam! Be ashore! Be a friend, not an anemone!

Koopa: Dump this dope in the dungeon!

(A Blooper points his trident at Neptune and directs him away.)

Koopa: If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a nice king!

(The Blooper that fought with the Marios, who's now all bandaged up, enters.)

Blooper: Bad news, your royal Barra-Koopness! The Mario Bros. have arrived in Aqua Land!

Koopa: This is the last time those bilge brain budinskis are gonna spoil my fun! Sound the Koopa Pack attack!

(An alarm goes off all over Aqua Land. Cut to a sunken ship with a hole in the cargo hold. Various Mermushrooms are carrying boxes of gold coins out of the ship, with Bloopers standing guard.)

Mermushroom: Look! Barra-Koopa's minions are forcing my people to gather all the gold coins in the sunken ships in Aqua Land!

Toad: So that's Koopa stoopa's plan!

Princess: We've gotta help those poor Mermushrooms!

Mario: Hmm. Listen up! Here's what we're gonna do!

(The five of them huddle.)

Luigi: Are you outta your mind? That's, that's, that's suicide!

Mario: Luigi, are you a man or a Mouser?

Luigi: Neither! I'm a chicken of the sea! But we'll try your tricky plan!

(A Blooper is watching one of the Mermushrooms haul a chest out of the ship when the boom of a ship hits his head, knocking him out.)

Mario: Guess I lowered the boom on him!

(Luigi gets another Blooper's attention by whistling.)

Luigi: Hey, fish face!

(Luigi sticks his head out of a hatch in the ship and makes a silly face.)

Luigi: Na-na-na-na-na! Na-na-na-na-na-na!

(Luigi goes back into the hatch and the Blooper follows. He looks around for Luigi, who shoves an inner tube over the Blooper's body. Luigi pulls the plug on the inner tube, which causes it and the Blooper to go flying out of the ship and away. Meanwhile, Princess puts on a cheap-looking female Blooper costume.)

Toad: There! Princess Blooper, strut your stuff!

(Princess goes up to three Bloopers and taps one of them on his back.)

Princess: (in a phony voice) Hey, big boy! How about a kiss?

(The three Bloopers fall in love with Princess, completely ignoring the fact that her dress is visible under the costume. Toad then slams an oar onto the Bloopers' heads, knocking them out. Princess removes her costume, and she and Toad meet up with the Marios.)

Toad: Way to go, dudes! Scratch three Bloopers!

Mermushroom: Hurray for the brave land dwellers!

Mario: At this rate we're gonna free the Mermushrooms quicker than you can say "mozzarella milkshake"!

Koopa (off screen): Don't count on it, pastapus!

(The group turns their heads and see Koopa with two Bloopers.)

Luigi: Jumpin' gelato! It's Barra-Koopa!

Koopa: The one and only! Lower the net!

(Some Bloopers throw nets at the group, trapping them.)

Princess: Uh oh! We've been Koopa captured!

Koopa: This time, plumb bum, I'm gonna flush you down the drainpipe of doom! *laugh*

(Cut to inside the ship.)

Mario: Let us go, Barra-Koopa, you beastly bag of bilge water!

(Koopa tosses the group into a corridor of the ship.)

Koopa: Not on your ever Koopin' life! This time I'm givin' ya a one-way ticket to that great waterworks in the sky! *laugh* Come on, Bloopers! It's plunderin' time! All hands follow me!

(The Bloopers shut the door to the corridor.)

Mermushroom: We're trapped, like sardines in a can!

Toad: Whadda ya think ol' Koopa stoopa's cooked up for us this time?

Mario: I don't know! But there's something fishy about this place!

Luigi: You can say that again! Look!

(Luigi points to a school of Trouters, which are swimming towards them.)

Everyone: TROUTERS!

Toad: Let's make like an egg and scramble!

(The group runs/swims off, but they come to a stop.)

Luigi: Terrible tortellini! Look at those plumber-munchin' Piranha Plants!

(Luigi points to a floor of Piranha Plants in front of the group.)

Mario: Jump!

(Mario jumps over the Piranha Plants, while the Mermushroom swims over them. Then, Toad, Princess, and Luigi jump over them. The Trouters are still on their tail, and Mario opens a door leading to another corridor, which the group enters and Mario shuts.)

Princess: Whew! We're safe!

Toad: Safe as Mushrooms in a stew! *gasp* Look!

(Toad looks down the corridor and sees a Clawgrip walking towards them.)

Everyone: A CLAWGRIP!

Luigi: Looks like our pipe patchin' days are over!

Mario: Not if we can make it down that hatch!

(Mario points to hatch behind the Clawgrip, which lunges at them.)

Mario: Jump!

(The group jumps over the Clawgrip and makes it into the hatch, which is too small for the Clawgrip to enter. They come out of a hole outside the ship.)

Mario: Good goin', paisanos! We left that lobster really boiling!

Princess: We gotta find a way to rescue King Neptune! I'll bet he could help us beat the evil Barra-Koopa!

Toad: If we can find where Barra-Koopa's keepin' him!

Mermushroom: I can help! I know a secret passage to the Aqua Land dungeon! Come, I'll show you!

(Cut to the dungeon, where Neptune is prisoner.)

Neptune: What a bummer! I'm caught like a sea snail in a pail! Trapped like a squid under a lid! Somehow I gotta blow this scene and help my people!

(A panel in the wall opens up, and Mario comes out.)

Neptune: Huh?

Mario: Greetings and sanitations, ruler of the watery world!

Neptune: Holy mackerel! Who're you?

(The rest of the group enters.)

Mermushroom: Princess Toadstool and these brave plumbers have come to rescue you, and help us fight bad Barra-Koopa!

Neptune: Cool as the sea cucumber, Jack! Let's haul anchor and set sail!

Princess: But Barra-Koopa has us outnumbered! We can never defeat him alone!

Neptune: Don't worry about a thing, my little dolphin! I'll round up a fleet of fishy friends! That Barra-Koopa's gonna be up to his gills in grief!

(Cut to the acropolis. Koopa is on the throne and in front of him is a Blooper and several chests.)

Blooper: Oh, fowl and putrid Koopaness! I bring you the last gold coins from the sunken ships of Aqua Land!

Koopa: You mean this is all? There ain't enough gold here to bother Koopin' about!

(The building shakes.)

Koopa: Calamitous crocodiles! What's that?

(Outside the building, a blue whale that Neptune is riding is slamming the side.)

Neptune: Barra-Koopa, you're in a whale of a lot of trouble!

(The whale slams the building again. A hole breaks in the wall and Mario and Co, who're all riding on seahorses with swordfishes in their hands, enter.)

Mario: Charge! Attack! And gangway!

Koopa: Drat! It's those pasta pulverizin' plumbers!

(The Marios get off of their seahorses.)

Mario: That's right, Barra-Koopa! And we're gonna pump your pipe!

Koopa: We'll see about that! Koopa Pack, attack!

(Several Bloopers surround Mario and point their tridents at him. Mario tries to hit Koopa with his swordfish, but Koopa blocks with his trident. Neptune does a punching gesture with his fists, and Princess fights a
Blooper with her swordfish. She ends up cutting his trident in half and kicks him aside. Toad, who's fighting another Blooper, cuts his trident in half as well and headbutts him aside. Luigi knocks another Blooper's
trident away and punches him aside. Mario fights a bit more with Koopa and eventually cuts his trident in half.)

Koopa: Oh no!

(Mario hurls his swordfish at Koopa, who runs out of the building with the swordfish trying to poke his butt, yelling the whole time. Everyone else laughs.)

Neptune: Thanks, land-dwelling friends, for rescuing me and freeing the Mermushrooms!

Mario: Hey, our pleasure! This whole fish story came to a happy end!

Luigi: Not for Koopa!

(The swordfish continues to poke Koopa.)

Koopa: Back off, needle nose!

(Koopa keeps on running, with the swordfish still in pursuit.)
