(The episode opens to a port town.)

Mario: (in his mind) Plumber's Log, Number 2-32. We've warped to the Ocean World looking for help with that royal pain, King Koopa. Trouble is, the Ocean World was hurting too.

(Mario and Co are standing on a dock facing the ocean. In the water, a periscope looks around. Suddenly, the periscope rises out of the water, as it's attached to the head of what looks like a large mechanical Loch Ness-type monster.)

Luigi: (pointing) Gallopin' garbanzos! Leap for your lives!

(The monster roars and starts moving around.)

Luigi: A sea monster!

(Two Mushroom people who are on a boat scream and jump off. The monster swims up to the boat, picks it up with its mouth, and chews through it.)

Toad: Check it out! That seaweed sucker's got a bigger appetite than Mario!

Princess: And it's not done munching! Let's get outta here!

(Mario and Co run down the dock as the monster approaches them, creating huge waves.)

Mario: Mush, Mushroom!

Toad: I'm mushin'! I'm mushin'!

Luigi: *gasp* Holy macaroni!

(A wave picks them up.)

Toad: Wipeout!

(The wave sends the four of them flying into the air, screaming. The monster turns around and sinks back into the water. Mario and Co have landed in the town, next to a wall with some crates and barrels. Luigi is laying against the wall.)

Luigi: Mario? Mario?

(Luigi spits out a mouthful of water.)

Luigi: Where did that creepy creature go?

(Mario, Princess, and Toad walk up to him.)

Mario: Who knows, Luigi? But I'm glad it went!

(Mario and Princess help Luigi up. Toad lifts up his hat and coughs as water pours out of it.)

Toad: Without havin' us for lunch! *points* Hey, look!

(Everyone looks down the street and sees Koopa, who's standing on a barrel, accompanied by two Bloopers. A crowd of Mushroom people have gathered around him.)

Toad: This place is full of creepy creatures!

Princess: Koopa!

Koopa: So that's the deal, fungus folks! Happy Harbor is doomed unless ya make ME your king!

(The crowd talks amongst themselves.)

Koopa: Kiss Koopa's feet and I'll gladly get rid of the sea monster for ya!

(The crowd talks amongst themselves some more. Mario and Co walk up to them.)

Princess: Stop! Wait! Hold on! *points at Koopa* There's the monster you really have to watch out for! Koopa Stoopa!

(The crowd talks amongst themselves again.)

Mario: Yeah!

Toad: That's right!

Koopa: Is that right, fungus? Then why don't you dinglebritches tell me how you'll get rid of that sea monster?

Princess: Well, uh, we could, maybe, uh...

Mario: No sweat, Princess! All we gotta do is, uh, well...

(A big, burly female captain by the name of Captain Abidab walks up to everyone. She has an eye patch over her right eye, pointy orange hair, a huge chin, a harpoon in her hand, and is wearing a red and white striped
shirt.)

Abidab: Great jumpin' jellyfish! I swear! None of you people has got no more gumption than a guppy!

Koopa: Who pushed your button, fish monger?

Abidab: Call me Captain, sonny! Captain Abidab! I'm a harpooner, and I've got me a schooner! So listen up, cuz the sooner we set sail, and stick it to the sea monster, the happier I'll be!

Koopa: Go ahead, try it. But don't blame me when the sea monster comes back and chomps up your houses! Kindly King Koopa gave ya your chance!

(Koopa sits down on the barrel.)

Koopa: Get movin', Bloopers! We're outta here!

(The Bloopers lift up the barrel and walk off.)

Abidab: Now that we're shed of that there pompous pollywog, which of you landlubbers volunteers to be my crew on this here monster hunt?

(The citizens run off.)

Luigi: Uh uh! I think the volunteers are us!

(Mario and Co and Abidab are now on a dock standing next to sailboat which is shaped like an old-fashioned boot.)

Abidab: Thar she be, landlubbers! The Mighty Peapod!

Mario: I've fixed bathtubs bigger than that boat!

(Abidab pats Luigi's head a few times.)

Abidab: Don't fret, matey! The Peapod's a stout, seaworthy vessel! Now, let's weigh anchor and set sail!

(Soon the five of them are on the boat. Luigi is pulling the anchor out of the water.)

Luigi: I don't think we should weigh this anchor, it'll break the scale!

(Toad is pulling the rope to lower the sail, which snaps in two. The sail lowers, but Toad gets caught in the rope, which causes him to go flying up the mast and get stuck at the top. Mario spins the steering wheel a bit, but he gets knocked back into Luigi.)

Mario (in Luigi's voice): Hey!

Abidab: Keelhaul me for a barnacle, Princess! It's the scurvy crew of swabbies we be puttin' to sea with!

Princess: Don't worry, Captain! They've got what it takes! I hope.

(The ship sails out of the harbor and into the ocean.)

Abidab: No sign of that slimy super sea snake!

Luigi: Does that mean we can go home?

Abidab: Nope! Just means we gotta go a little deeper, matey!

Toad: Deeper?

(Abidab opens a chest from which she pulls out a diving helmet and a harpoon launcher with a plunger loaded into it. She then puts on the helmet.)

Abidab: Look out below!

(Abidab tosses the harpoon launcher to Mario. She then jumps overboard and into the water.)

Mario: Let's get jumping! If we don't snag that sea monster, Koopa's gonna trash Happy Harbor!

(Mario and Co all jump in the water. Cut to the ocean floor. Captain Abidab is walking around, with Mario and Co following her.)

Luigi: I just hope we see the sea monster before it sees us!

(A large metal object pokes Luigi in the back a few times.)

Luigi: Wha? Hey, watch it!

(Luigi turns around and shouts when he sees the monster, which is right behind everyone. The others turn around and Luigi jumps into Princess' arms. Mario shoots the plunger from his harpoon launcher at the sea monster's snout, and hangs onto the rope. The monster swims off.)

Mario: I got it! I got it! Woah!

(Luigi grabs onto Mario, while Princess grabs onto Luigi, and they get pulled away by the monster.)

Luigi: Wrong, Mario! It's got us! YEOW!

(The monster swims under an arch-shaped rock. The rope then snaps upon hitting the rock.)

Mario: The monster got away!

Luigi: You wish! Look!

(The monster swims back towards the Marios and Princess, who are running for their lives. Toad and Abidab are watching from a distance.)

Abidab: Shiver me timbers! That thar sea monster's gonna gobble 'em up!

(The Marios and Princess mutter a few words, but get "eaten" by the monster.)

Toad: Oh no! I can't look!

Abidab: You better! It's comin' for us!

(Abidab grabs Toad and runs off. They hide in a small pit, which the monster ignores as it passes by.)

Abidab: Come back, ya slimy sea snake, and fight like a fish!

(The monster rises out of the water, as do Toad and Abidab. The monster then hits the Mighty Peapod, causing it to spin around a few times.)

Toad: Poor Mario and Luigi! Poor Princess! One gulp and they're goners!

(Cut to inside the monster. It's pitch black, so only everyone's eyes are visible.)

Mario: Now I know what a pizza feels like when it's swallowed!

Koopa (off screen): Serves ya right, basin brain!

Luigi: Woah! That's Koopa! Did the monster swallow him too?

Koopa (off screen): Correction, faucet face! This isn't a monster!

(The lights turn on, revealing that they're inside a submarine. Koopa is sitting on a couch in front of an organ. Princess walks over to a portal and looks out underwater.)

Princess: It's, it's a submarine!

Koopa: The Koopilus to be exact! Under the cruel command of Koopa Nemo!

Princess: So you're behind the attacks on Happy Harbor!

Mario: You were trying to trick them into making you their king!

Koopa: And it would've worked if you budinskis hadn't messed things up! They'll never make me their king now!

Mario and Luigi: Good.

Koopa: So, I'll just have to sail the Koopilus back to Happy Harbor and wreck the place!

Mario and Luigi: Uh oh! Not so good!

Koopa: But, in the meantime, I'll make you three my galley slaves!

(The Marios and Princess are now in the galley peeling onions, which causes their eyes to water.)

Mario: This is awful!

Princess: I don't know which is worse! Peeling onions, or knowing Happy Harbor is being wrecked!

Mario: We gotta warn Toad *sniff* and Captain Abidab!

Luigi: *sniff* But how?

Mario: We'll *sniff* send them a message!

(Mario goes over to the cabinet, opens it, and takes out several bottles.)

Mario: Lots of messages!

(Cut to the Mighty Peapod. Toad is bailing out some water.)

Abidab: Keep bailin', Toad! Cuz if we don't keep afloat, we'll never find your friends!

Toad: Hey, Captain Abidab! Look!

(Toad points to a bottle in the water with a note in it. He then throws the bucket, which has a rope attached to it, into the water, and uses it to pull in the bottle. Abidab pulls out the note and reads it.)

Abidab: Well blow me down, a message.

Toad: It's from Mario! They're all right!

Abidab: And sufferin' sailfish! Koopa's gonna attack Happy Harbor with a submarine!

Toad: Woah!

Abidab: I'm takin' a shortcut home, matey! We've gotta get to Happy Harbor ahead of Koopa, and that sub!

(The Mighty Peapod sails off in another direction. Meanwhile, Koopa is spying on Happy Harbor through the periscope.)

Koopa: Happy Harbor won't be happy much longer!

(Koopa puts the periscope away and faces the two Bloopers.)

Koopa: Let's ram 'em, slam 'em, and ruin their day!

(The Koopilus rises out of the water.)

Abidab: Thar she blows!

(Toad is now sitting on a catapult on the Mighty Peapod.)

Toad: Can't we talk about this?

Abidab: No time, matey. Happy landings!

(Toad is hurled into the air.)

Toad: Yow! I just hope I land in the right place!

(Toad flies into the mouth of the Koopilus. The Marios and Princess are still peeling onions in the galley. Toad enters through a door.)

Toad: Ain't ya glad to see me?

(Mario picks up Toad and the four of them have a group hug.)

Mario: Toad!

Luigi: You're here!

Princess: You made it!

Toad: Cut the mushy stuff! We got a sub to scuttle, remember?

Mario: Toad's right! Happy Harbor's got an emergency! And we're the plumbers who can handle it!

(Cut to Happy Harbor. Everyone screams in terror and runs off as the Koopilus approaches. Koopa is watching everything through the periscope.)

Koopa: It's times like this that make me proud to be a bully!

(The Koopilus crashes through another boat as the Mighty Peapod approaches. Abidab is watching everything through a telescope from the Mighty Peapod.)

Abidab: Happy Harbor is doomed! Unless those Marios do something fast!

(Cut to inside the Koopilus. Mario and Co are walking around.)

Toad: What's your plan?

Mario: Plan? I thought you had a plan!

Koopa (off screen): Those clog brained plumbers have escaped!

(Koopa and four Bloopers enter the room.)

Koopa: Stop them!

Luigi: Forget makin' plans! Let's make tracks!

(Mario and Co run off, and soon run out of the Koopilus through the mouth. They land in the water, and the Bloopers go in after them. Mario and Co run up to a large structure made out of large blocks. Many of the blocks have starfish attached to them.)

Princess: There's no way out!

Toad: We're trapped like ratfish!

(A glowing light catches Luigi's attention.)

Luigi: Huh?

(Luigi turns around and sees that some of the starfish are actually Starmen.)

Luigi: Look! Starmen!

(The Marios each grab a Starman. They then stand next to each other and hold up their Starmen.)

Mario and Luigi: Starman! Star bright! Give us pasta power! Give us pasta might!

Mario: It's Blooper-bopping time!

(The Marios press their Starmen together and simultaneously power up to Super Mario and Super Luigi. One of the Bloopers grabs Princess. The song "Splish Splash" starts up. Two of the Bloopers are holding Princess in place. The Marios try to shoot the other two with fireballs, but the Bloopers swim upwards. On their way down, the Marios shoot them. The Marios then try to shoot the Bloopers that are holding Princess, but they miss. Two of the fireballs ricochets off of the blocks and hit the Bloopers, who release Princess. The Marios then high five each other.)

Mario and Luigi: Now it's Koopa-bopping time!

(Cut to the Koopilus, which crashes through another boat.)

Koopa: I can't wait to wreck the whole town!

(Cut to the Mighty Peapod. Abidab pulls Princess and Toad out of the water.)

Abidab: He left me for a flounder, mates! That Koopa's a regular typhoon!

Princess: Don't worry, Captain! The Marios will take the wind out of his sail!

(The Marios leap out of the water and land on the Koopilus' head. They then start moving the periscope around. Koopa looks through it and sees Mario's face. Koopa makes a sharp turn, which causes the Marios to go flying onto the Mighty Peapod. The Koopilus crashes into a dock and explodes upon hitting some rocks by the shore. The song ends. When the smoke clears, all that's left of the destroyed Koopilus is the couch, which Koopa is sitting on. The citizens of Happy Harbor all cheer, as do Princess, Toad, and Abidab.)

Abidab: Yay, Marios!

Toad: Way to go!

Princess: Hooray!

Koopa: Pesky persnickety plumbers! I wish they'd never been invented!
